It won't learn. It will keep putting up with everything the government forces on them. And when it gets too much, the government will pretend they are going to finally do something, spin a bit of propaganda, and we'll lost a few more of our rights and descent that little bit closer into tyranny. People won’t like to hear it but I’m afraid the breakdown of the family, lack of good parenting, absent fathers. The list could go on, but there is no getting away from it these are causes. 100 percent absent fathers and no discipline, no good father role models. A kid isn't gonna listen to it's mother if all their mates are from broken families and doing what they want
What do you think is causing the absent fatherhood? Are the fathers not living with their kids/out of their lives all together or are they there but just unable to control their kids?
It's the drug culture that causes kids to carry knives, control of drugs in a certain area are the cause of post code wars and teens are carrying knives because of this. Drug dealing is a high risk, high reward business. And teens would rather risk getting stabbed or stabbing someone else to make money, because the cost of living is at an extortionate rate.

@@tudorDaDefenderthe data suggests that imprisonment increased not because crime rates have increased significantly over the past couple of years, but because sentencing has toughened up over 2023 to meet electoral goals. Meaning lower turnover rates, when budget wasn't proportionally allocated resulting with prisons overflowing, lacking resources and staff (hardly a ground for social reintegration.) Actually, with our budget deficit increasing from a comfortable +1% in the early noughties to be well under -10% currently, we now deal with the domino effect of progressive cuts on education, health, housing, etc over the past 2 decades. Meaning that gen Z has been harshly affected, especially in deprived areas. IMO, this contributes for the UK now having the highest imprisoning rates of West Europe. North Yorkshire, which the next door to Teesside, has the lowest rate of crime in the country. The difference is stark between the two areas. The major difference is North Yorkshire has extremely high levels of employment. People need jobs and a chance.
Different demographics. NY police has a massive area compared to Cleveland's so the stats are different. Hence why this vids jumped on the bandwagon as it shows Cleveland to be really bad compared to say London when the reality is far different.
As Inspector Nick Glynn, vice president of the National Black Police Association, notes: “If you aren’t well off - if you’re young, from an urban area, black, or Asian - your chances of getting stopped by the police for drugs are much higher.” Police rarely bothered anyone where I grew up unless they were called to investigate a specific complaint. Even when caught committing a criminal offence, people are treated differently depending on their background. Researchers at the LSE found that, in London, people from the highest socioeconomic class - doctors, lawyers, journalists - were three times more likely to be let off with a caution for drug offences than people who were unemployed. Evidence suggests that experimenting with illegal drugs is roughly equal across the socioeconomic spectrum, and regular drug use more common among young people, but the vast majority of those in prison for drug offences are not from middle-class backgrounds.

very very good point. i’ve always wondered too, that stabbings you see on tv often relates to black youths. however, if you dig into non publicised (on the media) stabbings, many people will be surprised how many white youths are stabbing and killing each other. Just round my area a white lad killed another white lad, there was hardly a peep in the local news. everyone should look into stabbing stats and they’d be surprised. Lastly, we need to be careful, as if society breaks down, the easiest targets can be immigrants or non white British. the way things are going, society is on the verge of collapsing. Apparently almost all of them carry knives because they don't want to be attacked and be the only one without a knife. When did this start? Who started it? Where did it spread from? Can we even stop it now? And should be examine self defense laws if this is how we're expected to live?
It started in the 1990s with people of limited intelligence thinking the real World was an extension of their games console, drugs turned them paranoid and to speak in strange ways using odd words. Maybe the mental health problems are worse than we thought in the UK. The NHS has a lot to answer for.
In the UK years ago you could have a pistol duel or a fair fight without an arrest, If disputes needed settling they could be solved and only the 2 involved would get hurt. In the modern generation as I see it half the country carrys something for self-defence but the other half aren't allowed. If your robbed or assaulted you can wait hours for police to turn up with a tazer, baton and pepper spray (all illegal in the UK for the public to possess) that you could have needed an hour ago to defend yourself 🎉 I think self defense laws need changing tbh with you as well as the vulnerable or elderly being allowed to carry pepper spray.
The most shocking thing I heard was the impending bankruptcy of the local council, says alot about what's going on in central government when local government are in such a mess. Disgraceful how our country has been betrayed.
Well they want a police state mate and when citizens are not allowed to arm themselves then the government slowly chips away at all your freedoms to leave you defenceless. The police are useless as they always get to the crime scene to late. Criminals have more rights than the citizens and they're exalted while the citizen is looked down upon.

@@carlavanda1585 so what’s your solution?
Increasing sentencing is like pruning the weed instead of treating the root causes. It's a measure that, by itself, is unsustainable. But nobody really cares.

Different demographics. NY police has a massive area compared to Cleveland's so the stats are different. Hence why this vids jumped on the bandwagon as it shows Cleveland to be really bad compared to say London when the reality is far different.
It’s the reduction in poverty employment brings not the act of doing a job/wage slavery itself (capitalist propaganda)

“With the local council facing the threat of bankruptcy” that’s probably the root of many of the problems

@edmundblackaddercoc8522 there's always one.
In the UK years ago you could have a pistol duel or a fair fight without an arrest,
If disputes needed settling they could be solved and only the 2 involved would get hurt.
In the modern generation as I see it half the country carrys something for self-defence but the other half aren't allowed. If your robbed or assaulted you can wait hours for police to turn up with a tazer, baton and pepper spray (all illegal in the UK for the public to possess) that you could have needed an hour ago to defend yourself 🎉
I think self defense laws need changing tbh with you as well as the vulnerable or elderly being allowed to carry pepper spray.

The rich will get richer while the working class get poorer , sad times … but turn up here with no documentation claiming to be fleeing war and you’ll get a place to live and a job with sia or a cscs card … what about our youth having to carry a knife because of other young people with knives . Give them a chance at least in the first place !!!
I've lived in Stockton-on-Tees for six year, never had an issue with anyone. The thing I have found is, if you are in that drug world or in that scene of crime or violence, you will find trouble and you will have a sticky end. If you are just minding your own business and not part of their world, they leave you alone. Cleveland also doesn't exist anymore, it's County Durham and North Yorkshire these places are located in. Cleveland was ended in 1996.
This is very true and I always try to tell people that. There’s an off chance that you can walk through a dark park or a dodgy area in a bad neighborhood in midnight and get attacked but like honestly what do you expect? We gotta use a special thing that apparently not everyone has called a brain 🤣
Me too never seen any trouble
Cleveland is still a thing mate. Its still called Cleveland Police...
@@joshnoble7539 They should be renamed to something else. The county was abolished in 1996.
@@RugbyLeagueHistory There is not one set category for UK counties, Cleveland still exists in the royal mails postal counties, as well as Redcar and Cleveland local county council.
This what the government needs to focus on changing England. Stopping knife crime, poverty and drugs.
