Jail is an American documentary reality television series that follows suspects in custody from booking through to incarceration. The show documents events in different jails across the U.S. Jail is the sister show to Cops, a show that follows police officers on patrol.

When you can't control yourself someone else will control you
As someone with mental illness I fear that. I still haven't told anyone I accidentally left the spoon in my cup when I microwave because I'm scared they will think I cannot be alone.. it was a mistake but they might assume .. I feel sad that not everyone is as looked after as me..

6 deaths in a jail here in the UK in a matter of a week or so due to drugs. Few weeks later another 2 died. An officer has been relieved of duty now while they investigate
So many drugs are brought in by dodgy screws over the prisoners or visitors.

absolutely shocking mental health problems getting him put in jail all because his medical insureance has ran out and he cant afford his medication how long before he is found dead thats not a great country

My first offical assignment as a medic in the US Army was to work in the mental health ward at Fairchild AFB Hospital. While there, I worked with young ladies who were dealing with anrexia. It was my job to get them to understand what would eventually happen to them if they didn't change their ways. Though I was at first reprimanded for the method I used, I was later commended as 4 of the 5 ladies converted back to a normal diet. The method I used showed a detailed video of what happens to the body without the proper amount of nutrition...including death. Best time as a medic in my life from the results it gave.
These officers deal with a lot. I wouldn't last as an officer not prisoner
The truth isn't always pretty.. facts aren't there for you to like or dislike they are just there and you cannot argue with fact. You are wonderful!
Sometimes the shock factor is the only thing that will get through to some people.
We cannot sugarcoat the illness anorexia, it has a lot of mental health issues alongside the anorexia, so well done,, you have probably saved a few lives, once we get to the cause it’s easier to help the person. I had a friend with anorexia and she would put large stones / heavy items in her pockets on weigh in days to avoid going into hospital, it ruined her marriage, she lost her kids because they couldn’t cope with her not eating properly, she started with bulimia as well, today at 68 she lives off rice,lettuce and dry bread, it has been a rocky friendship to say the least xxx

As someone who has been to plenty sober livings, I can say that we definitely do act like middle schoolers. I had so many tantrums. I always say that when I’m working with addicts my karma is comin because of the way I acted back then 😂 Graduating in December!

They mentioned the same thing but sadly when there's no room or they can't help in the mental hospital so the people end up in jail instead. It's very sad.

It is only certain areas of America that have high crime lol. America is huge. There are a lot of smaller cities in America that are extremely safe. Its mainly certain central areas in big cities where the majority of the crime occurs. There are thousands of other cities that are safer than some Canadian cities. People just believe everything they hear lol

The man who proposed to his girl friend seems a fairly a normal guy who had done some bad things ended up in jail. I did not see him as an evil person at all. Hope one day, when he gets out of the jail, he will straighten up his mistakes & will lead a fruitful life.

Hey hey two hours episode hell yeah. Still trying to find out if this is real or staged I've seen both where they see it's all set-up to act out.
It feels set up , because a lot of it is. Not that it is truly staged. But for example putting a clearly drunk person in front of a judge. Is that incompetence , or just to get some TV ? These people work everyday with suspects. They know exactly what feet to shove to make a suspect go off. And they push them over the brink just to get some TV. So if you look it like that you could call it staged. (and disgusting).
@@edtim3550Another reason I think it's set up is that, especially in the Las Vegas jail, the C.O'S are always asking the jailee what they did, what happened, give me all the details of the crime you are alleged to have done and they tell them everything! That is not a thing! They don't just go around asking them to openly admit to the crime and give all the details like that and in the show they do! It's just very unrealistic and isn't protecting the defendants rights at all, there's no way this is real.
