- A traffic stop quickly turns into a drug bust as officers catch two friends with hidden drugs. Neither suspect wants to claim ownership of the drug bag, instead shifting blame onto their friend. Elsewhere, cops engage in a police chase with a stolen vehicle. The driver, barely a teenage boy, is shown CCTV footage of his crime while his mother witnesses in shock.
Real-life officers are followed by a camera crew, cinéma-vérité style, in a gritty up-close look at police work and the consequences of crime. It spawned a number of police-reality imitators.

That 14 year old black kid got an array of charges for driving a stolen vehicle right in front of his mom, to say that his mom is devastated is an understatement. 😢
19:00 that dude's got a drug bag in his car, is on probation for domestic violence (and with it, a search clause), and he's worried about missing school and work?! Dude, you got much bigger concerns than missing a few paychecks and classes.
I think it's very dangerous to kneel on a person's neck like the way some cops do when they are arresting people it shouldn't be allowed at all.

At 27:42 they literally say we're going to stop this man for walking in the street (or down the street) but either way how is that PC? The neighborhood is residential and there is no sidewalk where he is. He is passing another road that goes to the right into an apartment complex or house by the looks of the trash cans. There is a sidewalk passed the road. Talk about profiling. How was he supposed to get passed that road any other way but walk in the street? If he was walking on the property road by the garbage cans would they call it trespassing then?

That search and arrest against the Native was a 100% bad arrest. Their reason for pretty much doing a felony stop on him was a paper license plate advertisement from a Ford dealership on a Hyundai. Dealerships sell different brands of cars all the time. They had no probable cause for the search. So glad kids today don't have to deal with the cops I had when I was young. They tossed out felonies like Halloween candy.

9:15 This kid was not searched once he was put into cuffs. It does not matter how old or young the suspect is. Every gets searched once they are arrested. Imagine if this kid had a gun. It takes very little force to pull a trigger. The officer who put him in cuffs needs to be written up and sent through some kind of remedial training.
