    Awesome video thank you for the tips and things to specifically look for when getting one of these bikes. I ended up getting the 15000w motor 72V 70 amp battery with the 150 amp BMS. Your videos helped me ask the right questions to make sure I got what I wanted. Thanks again keep it up.🎉

      Thanks so much for the encouraging words. It’s been a while since I last posted. School and sports have really slowed things down for me. I graduate high school soon and I think I want to start investing some real money and time into getting this channel going and growing again. Gonna post maybe a channel update soon. I also am hooking up a cooling fan to my bike so I’ll post that. Stay tuned and thanks for the support.

    I think a motor performs better when driving a wheel via chain or belt, rather than move itself inside a wheel.

    The higher voltage allows for smaller wires. Look it up man there is a scale to go by

    • @MrRobRizzle
      @MrRobRizzle Год назад

      Only if you keep the total wattage the same (by lowering the current draw). If you keep the voltage of the battery pack the same, but add more cells in parallel (increase AH and draw of amps), then you need larger wires to efficiently deliver all that power. How often you draw that power also matters. The smaller wires likely won't matter if you run your bike at lower speeds (drawing less power) and only require the extra juice when accelerating or hitting hills.

  • @ryanbabros7981
    @ryanbabros7981 Год назад

    Electrons flow on the outside of the conductor. I wonder if the wire is thinner, but is stranded with very fine copper conductors, could it be as efficient as wire that is slightly thicker, but has fewer strands?

    You no the James bigger eltric bike is 3000wat 72volt top speed 57mph range 47miles. That the one thats made with fibre glass metal and plywood. I hope you don't mind but his bike is far serpaera to look at as yours. Your frame is heavy metal you should have made fibre glass frame or carbon fibre. And that bike to build the prise just over half the money that you paid plus the battery are separate like drill battery total 72volt echa battery has built in bms. Its cheaper because if a battery fails you just buy one if yours failed your talking of a new battery

    so im wondering how you arived at 65mph as a top speed? acording to this pesky thing called the laws of phisics a bldc motor being supplied with aprox 72V can only turn so fast. what is the Kv rating of your motor? are all of the settings in your screen/controlor correct for your wheel size? im not trying to discredit you but you would need a 15Kv motor in order to even theroreticly reach that speed. most ebike hub motors including the high power ones are in the naborhood of 5-10Kv. i only know of one or two specal built grin tech motors that break 10Kv and those are like 700 alone. im sorry but i beleave your actual top speed is closer to 50. still a fast bycicle for sure. the amprage will not matter for max speed... well it will but yout top rpm for the motor is deturmened by the voltage. your amprage just provides the Tq to get there.

    You said your bike does 65mph your six foot so your weight I'm gesing 13.8 stone that's why your bike won't do 70 mph. Say this bike was remote control so no one on this bike would do 80to85mph I'm 11stone if I was on this bike it would do 70mph or more that's why a jokey on a horse has to be a certain weight as the horse won't hit top end speed.
