    Yeah bro I just grabbed a bomber less than a month ago, paid 3k for it. 12000w 72v 50ah Panasonic battery, I haven't had a chance to open it up yet, only got it to 65mph and the bike weighs just under 200lbs and I weigh 240 and it just keeps going...75mph is supposed to be the max but I need enough road and no cops to test that. But definitely the most fun bike I own and with 5 PAS levels I can I crease my range and still keep road speeds

    fyi your battery is pretty much peak. All you can do is add in more battery to have a higher p group in order to have a higher discharge rate. The molicel p42a has a 45a discharge rate. The only step up above from that is molicel p50b, which has a 60a discharge rate, but those just was released to the public a month ago. In any case theres no practical way to increase higher discharge rate but by adding more battery parallel groups.

    He JB I removed my two side covers and the front cover where the horn is with the brake cable and saved me 5.6 pounds I ran the brake cable through the frame and made a bracket for my horn to mount in front where it used to go but in a little different position but still looks good where it at. I made new side covers out off abs plastic 16th of an inch thick and and made a cover that goes under the seat to keep debris and other crap from getting caked up under there also made two side covers to fill in the gap between the seat and the frame. I put my alarm under the seat that way no one can get to it unless they cut the zip ties to get to my alarm. The abs plastic has a smooth and texture side I have the texture side showing plus you can’t scratch it unless you took something really sharp or a razor blade or something like that it holds up really well. I wish I could show you a picture of my bike it looks like a electric dirt bike with the fenders and everything I did to it. Ride safe and Happy Holidays you you buddy.

    Is that an Alibaba stealth bomber? What are the battery specs, I am about to buy one, and I am worried that I have an issue with the battery like Explosions, going off, or something of that nature. How much voltage do you have when on the low 15% battery? Like for example what is the max speed at that moment?

    • @JB360_NYC
      @JB360_NYC  9 дней назад +1

      @@freerunbg1 this particular one was an old stealth bomber I was reviewing for a friend. They usually come with a 40ah Panasonic pack which I believe can do 150amps continuous. The pack usually won't let you get under 15 percent so it will shut off at around 65 volts. Max speed when it's at low voltage is around 50-55mph

      @JB360_NYC  8 месяцев назад

      The one thing you can do is definitely upgrade the controller. I would suggest the Fardriver 72680. It's powerful enough to get you to 70+ because of the higher phase amps and the stock battery on the bomber has decent cells.

  • @Sievert31
    @Sievert31 Год назад

    Hey man awesome video! Quick question on the motor watts and battery usage. If you get a 12kw on a 50ah battery do you suggest upgrading to a higher ah battery because the power used by the motor would decrease your range noticeably?

    • @JB360_NYC
      @JB360_NYC  Год назад +1

      Thanks! In general the 150a Sabvoton controller uses up a lot of current whether the motor be 8kw or 12kw but yes switching to better cells would help the range significantly. I think the bombers use these Panasonic cells which don't hold voltage very well so switching to say Samsung cells or molicels would benefit greatly in terms of range since they have an amazing discharge rate.

    • @Sievert31
      @Sievert31 Год назад

      @JB 360 Hey fam thanks for the quick reply! So you're saying the biggest battery draw would be the controller not the motor? Therefore grabbing a 12kw motor would make a better choice since the power usage from that motor is going to be eclipsed by the controller??

You make me nervous watching you go in between those cars on the road that’s illegal to do that where I live and even if I could do that I don’t think I would do it all it take is for a car to veer over and hit you. I think it’s just a matter of time for you to get in a bad accident and I sure would hate to hear that. Please be careful out on those crazy roads riding like that buddy. • @JB360_NYC
      @JB360_NYC  Год назад +1

      That's like saying there's no difference between a 3kw and 5kw setup running a 50ah battery. Of course there's considerable difference especially in speed output, the battery just supplies the current. The new motor will of course eat up more volts. Considering you also swap to a higher rated controller you'll achieve better numbers than before.

    • @that_guy6116
      @that_guy6116 Год назад

      @@JB360_NYC only difference between different motor sizes is how quickly they will overheat or the gearing of the motor. The motor will spin with as much torque and rpm as the battery makes it. The capacity of the battery (ah) tells you nothing about the power that it can output. If your battery is more powerful than the controller, then the controller will limit the maximum power output, so upgrading to a more capable controller will just allow the battery power to make it to the motor

      I don't usually have them upside down except these don't have great coverage right side up. These had a better angle underneath the bars without my shoulders blocking the way lol
