Hello! I just bought a 2017 Honda Accord from a used car dealership with the exact same symptoms. Same lights on initially, but witht the power steering light coming on exactly 30 seconds later. I took it back to the dealership yesterday and they said that it was a steering wheel angle (or "lateral") sensor. They also said that they added air to the tires and that that would clear the TPMS light - it didn't. They told me they'd call me once the lateral sensor came in, but that I was fine to drive the car as-is. I was a little suspicious because they couldn't explain why the power steering issue could cause the ABS and traction control lights would come on, so I took it to my shop to get a second opinion. At the shop, they hooked up some kind of reader and it showed a VSA Module solenoid fault ($900-$1200 for that part alone). Just got back home to do my own research on having all these lights on combined and found this video. Might take it back and ask them to look at the speed sensors specifically - figure it's wirth the shot than to pay for replacing the entire VSA module.
Depends what the codes say it is, you might be throwing away money. Vsa is usually 121-11 codes but can be others also depending on which pins burn out in the module. I have a 2013 Honda Accord Sport - 140000 miles. Filled up gas tank and started pulling away from gas station - no power steering and same lights on instrument panel. Went 20 feet and power steering came back. Drove 50 miles to home ok but warning still on. My code scanner indicated a bad crankshaft sensor. I took it to the Honda dealer and they replaced the sensor and engine wiring harness. Total cost was $3300. I drove the car for another month - 1000 miles. The exact same problem happened again - same lights and loss of power steering for 20 feet. This time the dealer replaced the after market starter and battery. This is what Honda told the mechanic was probably the problem. I was mad that I had already spent $3300 which apparently didn’t fix the problem. The mechanic said that the crankshaft sensor was bad because of corrosion on it and the engine wiring harness. According to Honda the corrosion couldn’t be fixed except by replacing the sensor and wiring harness. As “goodwill” on the dealers part, they didn’t charge me for the starter and battery which was over $800. I kind of feel like I was taken to the cleaners, but the dealer seems to have a good reputation and I have had good service from them in the past.
Hate to say this but that dealer and/or service rep shoot take you to the cleaner. A starter and battery still do not cost 800$ LOL. If I were you I'll start going to an independent garage for your next services and if anything goes up more then 300-400$, go get a second opinion before commit to fixing it. Sure they will give you the scare tactic so you will get it fix by them but don't fall for it.
Question. You changed the right side to have the lights on the dashboard go off. If you change the right side what does that fix. I'm asking because I'm ready to purchase this and I came across a right and left side in the same package.
Hello. I have. 2010 Honda Accord. I already changed both sensors on each front wheel and the lights still came back up! VSA break light and ABS ! Please help
You can use my suggestion. Take your car to honda dealer and do the inspection and get an estimate. They will tell you the exact problem for about $90. Then look for the solution, if it is not too hard to fix it, do it by yourself. If it is cheap, let them do the work. I did the same thing. I just didn’t want to give $600 instead $12.
Im trying this. And im sure this is the issue. I changed the downstream o2 sensor to make the engine light go off. They wanted to change my whole catalytic converter. They said we dont know if its that so if its not then will have to do the back one. With both would be 4k. When it was a 40 dollar wire. And then they wanted to change out my whole abs module. So im hoping this will be the fix! Which would of saved me another 2k. In total 6k.
@@TechGeniusHacks i ordered it on Amazon for 16 bucks. It will be here tomorrow. So ill do it then! Ill definitely update you. Hoping that will work or else ill have to keep searching for answers.
@@TechGeniusHacks it didnt look broken but i did some research and i seen some stuff that said sensors can be damaged from accidents and i got in an accident before. Got all the body work done. I didnt know it controlled the other lights as well. My car has been driving great tho🤷🏽♂️ i guess ill find out tomorrow
My question is was the power steering wheel at anytime hard to turn or not? Because my car has that light on and I changed the electric power steering rack and pinion and apparently that’s not the issue. I wonder if I change this sensor would it work properly
Not there wasn’t any problem with the steering wheel. Probably it is something else. Whenever one of them is not working properly, all the lights come on. Mine was speed sensor. Yours could be steering wheel and all of them are on now.
I was programming keys this summer it was hot and it took a while, I had to delete all keys and reprogram them cause one was faulty, by the time I was done my car battery died (big issue with the Hondas on the on position they always die) so I had to get a jump. After the jump I had all lights come on like this if it's not the harness it can just be you need to drive the car for a few miles the system will pick up there's no issue and all lights will come off by them selves.
I had to slam on brakes in traffic! Then when I tried to go again all the lights came on and car stuttering brakes shaking seemed in take home mode?? Maybe this is the problem after slamming on brakes or maybe fussble link??
Just to follow up….. the reason for my Xmas tree in the dash was because the cvt blew a belt! That’s the chattering. Got 220,000 out of the tranny I guess ain’t bad but the car is only 7 years old and in great shape. KBB is 8000. Ironic because that’s the replacement cost of the cvt. 😯

If I were you, I would take the car to honda. Do the full diagnostic if you don’t trust your mechanics. If they say the same thing, you need to go for whatever your mechanic says.
Ask your mechanic for a readout of the codes. Then Go to eBay and see if the codes can be fixed by a guy on eBay who repairs the modules. I agree I feel many Honda’s are seeing this problem.

If it is heavy duty job and cheap, I let the dealer fix it. They asked me around $600 to turn off the lights. I did the research and I said to myself I could do some of them and I couldn’t do some. After watching your video I was concerned if my car could have the same issue as yours. My lights go on and off but they stay on more than they are off. I was thinking it may be sensor since the lights don't constantly stay on. What kind of diagnostic test did they perform to determine what the problem was with your car. Thank you so much for the helpful video.
I did the complete diagnostic. They determined the problems one by one and one of them was speed sensor. I changed that. I got it from the auction and there were other problems. I paid 87 dollars to check the car. That was one of the issues. They put that problem in the diagnostics paper. I told myself I could do it and I did it 😊
I got the same problem, mecanic told me is something electrical and is going to be something very complicated. It's going to take days to fix.
How much did they say?
@Stemactivities
Just went this morning, I'm supposed to take my car back on monday. Is going to be $185 to get a diagnosis.
they told me it’s transmission issues
Same problem happened with me could you please tell me which wire is this what we call this part ?
If a speed sensor is broken, it will affect everyone lights that are on. When you change it, it will turn off all the lights
Hello.

Are you able to fix it?
@@Techgeniusideas not yet.
When are you going to change it? I am excited
@@TechGeniusHacks i ordered it on Amazon for 16 bucks. It will be here tomorrow. So ill do it then! Ill definitely update you. Hoping that will work or else ill have to keep searching for answers.
@@josiahnikkel3609 I cannot guarantee that that is the problem but give it a try
Mine was seen with bare eyes. Have you checked the cords if broken?
@@TechGeniusHacks it didnt look broken but i did some research and i seen some stuff that said sensors can be damaged from accidents and i got in an accident before. Got all the body work done. I felt like the abs light was something else cause that came on later. My traction control and tire have been on for awhile. And wont go off. Those two lights is why i was going to get that wire.
Did you ask honda about that since they fixed the car and it caused the problem because of them?
@@Techgeniusideas no Honda didn't have anything to do with it I have a code scanner tablet that allows me to program key fobs it was my own fault
This just happened to me, is it safe to still drive with all the lights still on?

I had to slam on brakes in traffic! Then when I tried to go again all the lights came on and car stuttering brakes shaking seemed in take home mode?? Maybe this is the problem after slamming on brakes or maybe fussble link??
Just to follow up….. the reason for my Xmas tree in the dash was because the cvt blew a belt! That’s the chattering. Got 220,000 out of the tranny I guess ain’t bad but the car is only 7 years old and in great shape. KBB is 8000. Ironic because that’s the replacement cost of the cvt. 😯

lol why not go to the junk yard and get one
@BipriExotic I did , lights where still on after the junk yard one and tried a refurbished one from ebay , only one light Turned off so just got a new one 🤷🏽
My mechanic told me I needed a new modular, which is a 1000 dollars or more. It is crazy these cars many of these cars have this issue but if this was the problem, seems more reasonable, now my red brake light is on, mechanic says the brakes are all good, go figure. Any thoughts? Thanks for all these helpful tips
Did you ever fix your problem? Did you also have fcm failure warning ?
Guys, so this means my lights will stay on forever ?
My brakes are making a clunking noise and ever since then the lights turned on calipers are tight new pads struts are good any suggestions?
Did you check the speed sensors
@@TechGeniusHacks no could it be I need to replace the abs module or sensors?
I replaced both sides and the lights are still on SMH any other recommendations?
My solution is just one of the problems. If any of the system is broken, all lights are linked to each other and they are going to be all on.
Did the tire light ever go off from this fix?
Yep. Never came back
Tire light you need to reset the tpms sensors and calibrate them
How would you know which cenaor is the problem?
You can check with your bear eyes first then if you can’t find it, take it to the dealer do the complete diagnostic $80 something.

Exactly those lights, 2 days after installing the springs they turned on, I went to a place they erased them with a scanner and turned them back on few minutes later .I think that since I did not take it to align quickly, the car detected a fault.

I got this car from Auction. There were some problems that I don’t know. I took it there and did the complete check up around $80 then if there is anything worth I should do, I did. If it is heavy duty job and cheap, I let the dealer fix it. They asked me around $600 to turn off the lights. I did the research and I said to myself I could do some of them and I couldn’t do some. For example I changed the air filter and motor filter and abs etc lights off. There was $300 for changing the motor cover and liquids. $300 is worth for them to fix it.
My car is a 2015 Honda Accord V6 exl and all the lights started coming on like yours. Abs, traction , power steering, brake light, as well as fcw and ldw and it's also flashing failed FCW. I took it to dealer and they did a diagnosis and said it was the ABS module and it needed replaced at the cost of $2100.
If the abs module is broken, that is bad but if I were you, I would check everything. If it is 100% abs module, I would show diagnostic results to other dealers or services and try to get the discounted price. Let me know please.
