Love your spirited driving and commentary. All car reviews should be this entertainment. I have a forerunner and it does get up and go more than you would think. Plus, it’s basically the more reliable version of a jeep. 🙌
Thank you very much for your positive feedback! I am glad to you liked the video. Exactly! They are great SUV's.
Its nice to see a video where someone is actually excited about this vehicle. Sick of seeing videos whining about it being slow or dated. Cant wait to get my hands on the TRD ORP we are about to buy in the next few months!!
Thank you! Very nice. Congratulations.
how have you liked it so far ?
@@EstaDePiPi We didn't end up getting one 😭
@@OliveB69 damn, you guys end up getting instead ?
@@EstaDePiPi A GMC sierra.. because we wanted to tow an RV with it. But we ended up scrapping the RV idea and now we're stuck with the Sierra and would way rather have the 4Runner.
Ty for posting! Great review
Thank you very much!
Great video...realistic driving experience! Great consumer info! Thank you!
Thank you! Glad you liked the video.
You're probably the very first person I've seen say "you press the gas and you go pretty quick". Everyone says the 4runners are complete dogs. Lol. Great review!
Thank you! It's actually fairly quick. I didn't have any performance concerns.
@@DMCarReviews that's good to know!
@@AkronKid330 For the knowledge of others reading this, it is objectively slow. A 7.9 0-60 is pretty lethargic. That's about the speed of a Toyota Carolla, not typically considered a fast car. A Ford F-150, or a Honda Odyssey minivan go around 6.5.
@@nonconsensualopinion crazy right?
It's not a race car calm down some of u speed demons 🤦😂
Awesome video! I'll be the happiest human even if I can get 4Runner this year or the next one.
Thank you! Hopefully, you will get one soon.
I could never love another car like I do with the 4runner esp after all my mods are completed.
So very well said. This car is pretty much perfect in my book!
Thank you! It's great.
Great review!
Спасибо!
Hoping to get a 2023 same SUV as yours with manual transfer case which is RARE nowadays. GREAT VIDEO REVIEW!
Thank you so much for watching. Glad you liked it. Надеюсь сможете купить ту самую редкую версию😊
Thank you so much for this test drive. I think i may have made up my mind to purchase this vehicle! I test drove it a few days ago. I loved it! The only thing i noticed was the engine was kinda of noisy but i believe that is normal for 4runners.
Thank you! What year was the 4Runner?
@@DMCarReviews 2023 Trd Off road Premium
Great drive.
Thanks!
Yes!!
I don’t understand the people who say these are slow or sluggish. I think it’s great. These trucks are pretty cool and I’d own one if they weren’t super common. Everyone seems to want one. That V6 sounds pretty good too.
They are slow. Anyone who says it’s fast doesn’t know what fast is.
That nose dive and sway is what’s dangerous in these. Thats why they didn’t make them fast. It’s a great back road vehicle, but I hate it on the highway at high speeds. Especially when traffic comes to a fast stop. It’s scary.
These are meant for off-roading. Not highway driving. King of off-roading.
Great video! Under which manual should you put the vehicle to when driving at 60mph? 4 High?
Hi, thank you! Great question, I am not sure.
Good review. Hope to get a 23 or 24
Thank you! Excellent cars.
Thanks very much for your great video. You’ve just cemented my decision to trade in my modern compact turbocharged SUV for the beastly reliable NA Toyota 4Runner Off Road. God Bless. 🙏
Careful with the gas mileage!
I wouldn't call it beastly.
I have a deposit on a 2024 trd offroad premium. Cant wait
Congratulations!
@@DMCarReviews thank you!
i agree but you also forgot to metion The LDA needs to be on for the turns/curves becuase i barely move my hands with it on it feels 100 percent better
LDA?
Graphics look clearer, wonder if they finally upgraded it.
They did!
Badass vehicle
Facts!
It needs the 2021 Tundra’s 5.7 V8. 0-60 in 5-6 seconds with it
That would be a better engine.
Drives just like a Limited as long as it has KDSS. Just sportier looking.
Is the TDR Pro a comfortable ride on long road trips/vacations, or are they uncomfortable?
Pretty comfortable
Put your phone down!
Great review can you tell me are these tyre from Trd pro and how much u spend on them
Thank you! I have no idea, unfortunately. Try asking chatGPT :)
hi. does this back seat have reclining ? looks very upright.
Hi! I think they do.
So you take a road trip even with the loud droning TRD exhaust?
It was absolutely fine
Off-road Premium doesn't have the TRD catback. Only the Pro does.
What exactly do you mean by "this car is not meant to take corners"? Is it tipping risk, is it bad handling, what's wrong with that part?
It's got a high center of gravity.
Full frame vehicles that are high up, have poor center of gravity. Therefore it’s very tipsy plus it’s also narrow. A soft suspension also makes it lean more and nose dive.
What was the suspension and tires u use
Not sure what was on it.
Brand new one of these? Or a pre owned TRD PRO tacoma?
2023, pre-owned with a few thousand miles.
@@DMCarReviews I’m looking at a TRD pro taco with 7k mikes for $51k 21’ or a new 23 4Runner ORP for about the same. Hard decisions
@@murlocmerc New one is always the best route if you can. Look at the one Sheehy Nissan Manassas has for sale. It's virtually brand new.
Did this 4runner have the TRD exhaust?
Not sure!
Does the hood scoop block visibility
No

Driving in the passing lane = questionable driver.... NOT GOOD !
Try putting the phone down while on public roads.
Then how will I see what Dragy shows?
with KDSS?
Yes
