Your path today is different than the one you see. However your design is very good. What you always did was give the audience something right. Thank you very much.
These are the coolest, most indestructible little offroaders money can buy. My mom’s friend has one and he’s enjoying it very much. Also, are you guys gonna do a special video once you hit 1 mil subs?
I felt the hole burn in my wallet from the spirited driving section of this video because of the gas mileage of this vehicle and the current state of the world with gas prices. However, I absolutely think the 4Runner is a beast no matter what and I want one! Edit: with this all said, what dealerships (and MSRP frankly) charge for this is for what you get is absolutely unacceptable.
Multiple ways to look at that. What you pay in gas, you save in repairs and in not having to buy another vehicle for a really long time. And as far as “what you get” for the price - you get a great vehicle that lasts forever, and you avoid stupid and pointless features that break and run your pockets. You also get a vehicle that holds its value about as well as any vehicle out there, so long term it’s probably a good buy for many people.
I like the 4Runner but even in it’s TRD Pro trim, how does Toyota have the balls to charge you anything above $45k for it? I mean, when you look at what you are actually getting for what dealerships are charging for this, it’s pretty preposterous. Sure, the suspension is great and all, but Toyota is so lazy with updating this platform.
Finally, someone after my own thinking. Whenever I remark about Toyota's laziness when it comes to updating all their platfroms, all I hear back is " why?, these will go a million miles"
@@weirdshibainu i own a 2006 Tacoma SR that has about 160k on it from new. Before it even got to 100k, it had two frame resprays for rust, warrantied by Toyota and has since had seveal mechanical repairs including a new alternator, steering pump, and now it is leaking oil from the head gasket. I just need it to last me until my new ordered ‘22 Colorado ZR2 gets here.
Because everything on it is bulletproof and will last you half a million miles at least. That’s why people keep buying them and a lot of people don’t want them updated.
Wonder if Toyota has plans to throw their new hybrid out of the tundra into this? I really want the new Tundra but if this got a refresh plus that engine, it'd be a real tough decision.
4WD high is fine on pavement, you just don’t want to be in 4L. It’s also a 4Runner, people beat the crap out of these things, and they still just run forever, they are near indestructible vehicles.
@@ImOldGreggno it is the transmission, engines don’t make that noise. It kinda sounds like a cvt cause it only has 5 speeds so the gear ratios are so long the powertrain is very droney.
@@albinbiju7464 it’s available in the rest of the world. But just not North America because the Land Cruiser wasn’t selling too well, and that’s because it costs about over $85k which was wayy too expensive for a Toyota badge and for most SUV people even though SUVs are popular. It wasn’t really the best selling SUV tho…

It’s not possible with the current architecture. And with the next redesign, they’re moving to a four popper powertrain, so unlikely.

4wd on dry pavement and flooring it? I wouldn’t want to own this after you.

They say it’s ok to go straight so it’s ok to drive 4H on pavement as long as you go straight home 😂

idk why but i feel like the 4 runner should come with a manual
the 4Runner has not been offered with a manual transmission and probably won't be offered with one in the future
They actually used to offer a manual, but they took it out of the 4 Runner 20 years ago since nobody brought it..
Nice ride. Too bad they weren't smart enough to add a CD player.
🔥🔥🔥👍
How far or how many miles would you say you can go with the 4Runner before needing to put gas or on a full tank of gas?
Usually 280 miles to the gallon.
I love this car 😍🤩 amazing omg give to me ❤️🤩
5:33 that is one loud transmission.... How great would it be if they fitted that new 10 speed from the LC300 in the 4runner?
That’s not the trans. The whining noise is soemthing all 4runner engines do. An oil pump or something
I love how it sounds though.
