❖ There are many people who ask me which brushes are the preferred brushes to use for beginners.
My answer to them is that all the brushes are great to use and compliment each other.
My brushes are not expensive to purchase, they cost around $1-4 USD, some prices may vary on the different brushes used duo to special use of each brush.
Remember that with each brush you use you will have a different experience and a range of different feeling.
The important thing is that you and the brush work as one to find the balance between creation and skill.
The artist's hand is very important in making the painting and to feel the way the water on the brush moves as the brush creates the ultimate master piece.

wow and i'm in my 30 already feeling im way behind to learn something like this. you just inspire me. thanks
i just loved the way how you treat your paper, colors, sketch, brushes, it's just the way you move your hand gives off how much you love painting and how you treat it so softly and lovingly
A fantastic lesson packed with a beautiful understanding of colour, use of brush, blending, adding layers etc. Thank you.
Molto belli questi fiorì
I see that a few ladies here are saying they are in their 70’s & just picking up a watercolour brush (Fantastic! 🌼) We are all children at heart and what did we do when we were children? we painted and we would draw pictures ‘but’ most of us were discouraged to continue down the line of art for we are told art is just a part of being a child for us to express ourselves (Which I would say is very important) and that urge to paint and draw never really leaves us. I know several woman whom after their children married and they had time on their hands, they picked up some watercolour brushes & paints and found they re so good at art they now show work in art galleries! It is never too late. Watercolour is beautiful and so inspiring, if you feel like painting then do it. We should all be encouraged to paint and draw from childhood and keep at it through adult life. Happy painting all 🌈🌼🖌
your selection of music with this study is beyond beautiful, your painting style is lovely and inspiring

Those that give this video a thumbs down are just jealous, bitter and jaded people. It makes them feel better about themselves to bring someone else down for no reason. There is absolutely no reason to give this a thumbs down. So soothing to watch! I loved it :)
Gorgeous work. I'm 66 and just started painting about 6 months ago. Your technique is interesting. Thanks for sharing.
That kind of videos brings me peace! Is very relaxing! Thanks.

I feel like your hand dancing with brush and paint. I think even without visible flowers, the dance is still beautiful..
This is unbelievably beautiful the way the. Brush moves on you’re hand makes me want to see more as a beginner with water colour I use some of you’re panting as references thank you and keep up the amazing art !
This soothes my soul. Thank you.
It is so very inspiring to watch you paint. A delicate dance...
My goodness - I was confused for so long, and then at the end it all just came together. So nice! Like when you were taking paint off- it seemed so random, but I kept thinking what the purpose was...omg you were making spaces! Goes to show that we shouldn't conclude to anything until we reach the end.
Brilliant! Can’t wait to try it. Love how softly you hold the brush, and how you use it. Also, the lifting you do leaves such a soft impression. Thank you so much for sharing this!
That was the most beautiful demonstration of the dance of watercolor and light. This artist is truly inspiring.
Simply beautiful! Such loose flowing style really shows how such a little paint gives such a strong result.
Thanks for putting up this vid. It's a joy to watch and learn from.
Floral watercolor is my absolute fave! Thanks for sharing!
It is not painting it is a poem! 😍
Così meravigliosamente essenziale, semplicità che danza. Grazie, proverò così sul mio primo foglio

So relaxing, lovely painting and music. I must start painting again..
I hope you started painting again! I did about 21/2 months ago.🖼🎨❤😁❤🎨🖼
beautiful and mysterious
its mystery is accentuated by the small signs of color throughout !!! I want to recommend my favorite artists Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Frida Kahlo, Roberto Matta Gabino amaya cacho and Pablo Picasso.
This is so awesome! I can't even imagine how one goes about learning to paint like this.
A sua pintura me emocionou !!!!

Watching this gives me peace and joy
Hi russian im serbian
You have such a sense of colour. A little commentary on how to mix colours to produce a certain effect would have been very useful. Also I would have like to have your paintbox in full view. I would have liked to see when you are dipping your brush in water to wipe it clean etc.
Ur art TOUCHED MY HEART......!!!! ♥♥
This one is my favorite of all your tutorials. Just lovely!
these are ethereal flowers! i love your watercolor painting...it's so relaxing and full of freedom, the pigments just flow across the wet paper....it's magical :)
Beautiful painting 🎨😍👌

Awesome tutorial! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful gift. 💕
Your paintings are so beautiful. And you make watercoloring look so easy.
this may be a dumb question but how wet is your brush when you dab at the paint
I'm not the artist but do have experience with watercolour.
It looks as if they dip the brush briefly into a jar of water and then shake off the excess before picking up the paint from the pan. The pans also look like they've been wetted before painting. A drop of water really helps soften the paint and make it easy to pick up.
Usually I just use the water left on my brush after cleaning it of the previous colour to pick up the next.
I hope that made sense and helped, and feel free to ask if you want any clarifications.
ahh thank you so much! I've just started trying to watercolor and my paints dont seem to "seep" like everyone else's!
+Carissa McHolme No problem! Glad to help ^^
Carissa McHolme Yea, doing the wet-on-wet (which is where you paint with just water first and then painting on top of that- so wet water and wet paint on top), really helps to dilute the paint and look really cool
cool
piano and painting, just mindblowing
Pretty!!! And your feelings are amazing
The magic of thinking goes from hand and sleep on canvas
Great painting..
Very interesting
I love your work. You are my inspiration
idk why but I'm really touched *crys*
Wonderful demonstration. I loved every second of seeing the colors take their place and watching the flowers bloom before my eyes! Watching this was something akin to a ballet of watercolors. I hope to be able to paint like this one day. Thank you!
I love ❤️ the amount of information you give 💓 in this interesting💓💞 video thanks for the beautiful💕 video💯 ,you shared 💗 with all of us a big hug and good luck in what you do. thanks for sharing 💞.💓
Linda! Amei!!! 👏👏👏🌹💖
Your art work is amazing. I absolutely love it.
wow! this is beautiful!! please help me understand, why you wet the paper first? is it so that its easier to push the colors around? thanks for sharing!!
it causes the paint to kinda fan out because the water on the paper and the paint mix so it spreads. its like dropping food coloring in a cup of water.
oh ok...i get it now! thank you! I enjoy watching you paint...it's absolutely beautiful!!
Jules Aviles
Jules Aviles water makes the water colours blended 👌
That is what "wet into wet" means. You wet the paper first
How to you makr like very easy 👌👌😊😊
Beautiful watercolor. It's like watching a dance.
Simplemente maravilloso
enjoying your art with eyes, ears, mind and soul.
oh you're Korean . ha 당신의 예술 정말 좋아해요 🎨 hope my grammar isn't too bad ^^;
That's good. Thank you for your kind words ^^
I loved your video however there is no verbal description as to what you are doing. It would be helpful in order to follow along & paint with you. Thanks.
Stephanie I think that's because it's a very abstract painting, it's hard to explain something when you're just doing whatever comes to your mind
Ok thanks. I'm just starting to paint & hopefully will be as good as you. Love your art!

Yasmin café
You are my fav. Watercolour artist
I am transfixed watching you paint. I think I no longer need to paint. I will spend my time watching you! It is like watching a dance. Each motion of your hand, turn of your wrist, placement of the brush looks intentional. You paint like you know what you're doing. (haha- that is a joke) I would hazard a guess that you started out in calligraphy. Is that correct? If I don't give up on my clumsy arthritic hands after watching you, then I will join/patreon you. Best wishes...
Wow...It's really so nice...can you please say me that what's the brush size??Please answer me...
I would like to know that too please about the brushes
Sehr hübsches Aquarell Blumenbild. Gefällt mir sehr gut, tolles tutorial🌼🌼🌼🌺🌺🌺
Só eu do Brasil?
Only me from Brazil?
This painting is beyond wonderful!💜❤💚
At the beginning of the video it just looked like an insane person imagining that he is painting with amazing colors and that it turned out beautiful, but I knew what was happening. XD
Gabriela
I know righttt everytime hahaja
Love the colour and the fuzz of this hat
I would have preferred a dialogue about what colours to use, why use plain water first (or was it just practice strokes?) Why the different colours were used, and which colours were used. It's a beautiful image, but I don't feel I've learned how to do it? I found the music distracting, and it seems to me, it's watching an artist working, not a lesson in how to do it myself?
The water is put on first so that the watercolorpaint can easily spread...it is just a technique. I think the artist just wanted to make it colorful, so a lot of different colors were used. But you're right, this is more a watch and imitate sort of thing rather than a lesson.
its about the travel, not the way.... and ps... on top ... [ level 3]
Jessica Hothersall if you prefer a dialogue, you can find that as well. Thousands of RUclips watercolor lessons are available. Some subscribers like a variety.
I find that if you watch the same video several times, you catch the techniques more clearly each time. You can also stop the video as often as you like while you mimic what she is doing. So much of her technique seems to be in her touch and layering.
Wow ! I have no words to describe this painting . 👍👍👍👍👍💐☺️☺️👌👌👌👌
Very easy to see but not to draw🐶🐶🐶
I mean too!!
Thanks for teaching us how to paint❤love you, u are gifted
