Barely anyone uses watercolour. It's really nice to see someone use them. It reminds me of my childhood. I love it.
I finally started learning watercolours and just tried this, it looks great ! It’s quite time consuming but it’s worth it. I am happy with the result :D ! I’ll definitely try more of your tutorials.

You paint on silk with what? Is it permanent? And if it is, then is it natural or chemical?
@@ashishrain1455 Yes, with paints that are specific for painting on silk. Once it is iron set it is permanent.

@@noellelandry6063 I obtained them in a craft shop. The one I purchase is Setasilk. There is another brand too but I have not tried it.

This looks like fun! In fact, I tried doing a couple of petals after watching this. I haven’t complete it yet, because I realized I needed to watch your video again. But, I was immediately happy just mixing some beautiful color, and putting on my paper. I’m having a hard time getting started, and this is exactly what I need. Thank you.

This is is exactly the delicate style I have been searching for and did not find , until now! Thank you so much for sharing your technique of how to paint these ethereal, delicate flowers. I believe they are Magnolias and could just as easily be made into a Lotus flower. -- they are magnificent! I am a gardener and I grow peonies and hibiscus flowers; I see immediately how I can use your technique to paint this picture, and the vision I have in my mind's eye of my peonies. Certainly patience and the right brush/paint. tried two paintings of today. One came out good..other not so…certainly helps to calm me down ..it’s relaxing 🙏🏼
I recently got into watercoloring again after 4 years and seeing the delicate process and the beauty of water coloring is making me want to get out of my bed at 3 am and start making this watercolor art flower!
I was sitting here with my brush and paints, having just painted along with another watercolourist doing very simple flowers (not to me!) I spotted this and had to give it a try. My blue flower wasn't as good as yours, of course, but I'm pleased with the result for a first attempt. Next time I'll start with the base colour a bit stronger. Thank you for a very clear demo that didn't need any further explanation.
