Have watched thousands of hrs of painting with watercolor have to say this ones the best example of how to , I’m pretty new to paint and learned several tips in this short 7 min video ..thank you so much for sharing love it
You must have an amazing mind and a beautiful heart by expressing the beauty of God's creation through your watercolour paintings... what it does to one's soul no words can express.
This is one of my favorites. I appreciate that you tell why you do a technic and the music with the video. Inspiring and calming. Thank you so much for sharing your gifting with us.
I love the "talk-free" approach. Like my mother used to say..."Actions speak louder than words." I'm a visual learner. Words overwhelm, but the toned-down music helps to set the mood.
I just love watching your vids! Especially with easy listening music, written explanation, no long talking, like so many others do... This is so relaxing! Being a painter myself, (tedious schools and hard long techniques!), I still learn with your easy techniques, refreshing my mind, and I just enjoy watching you paint with all your lovely strokes and brushes! Thx a lot again for a beautiful painting. Keep it up! 👍😊
I am on my second study of painting this flower. My goal is to accomplish painting washes building up color in flowers such as this one. I'm getting better...I paint daily and I mix up what the lesson (from you) will be, but the objective is to paint delicate washes and detail. It's a beautiful flower to learn from and by.
Thank you Francine for your comment I am really impressed that you have been painting every day! It's so important to practice, that way you'll get more confidence and enjoy hopefully your results from that! Happy painting :-)
Just completed this watercolour of a flower..love your pace, technique...not quite like yours but I’m enjoying this exercise during an enforced self isolation in the current’s world’s crisis...A Big Thank you...from Wasaga Beach, Ontario

So glad you're back--I've missed you, and so have my paintbrushes! I have always thought painting with water colors would be so hard, but you make it much easier than I ever thought it could be, and infinitely more enjoyable. Thank you.
Glad to be back Lynda! I am so happy that I have shown you a way of painting in watercolour which isn't so daunting and that inspires you to have a go!! :)
This is gorgeous and so realistic looking! I love using the twig. I'll be heading out in my backyard to look for some as it's been really windy for the last few days. Thanx, Dawn
That was really lovely; such an excellent loose style. Achieving that loose yet composed wet-in-wet effect is not easy, especially for detail addicts; it can be hard to let go. Lots to study and take away here. Thanks for posting. 🇬🇧
Such a beautiful demonstration.I'm absolutely new to painting but I've always been fond of water colours. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us.
Hello Margaret from Tennessee! Great to hear from you! So pleased that you learnt so much from this tutorial! Thank you for sharing! Take care, happy painting :)
Thank ypou so much for this fabulous presentation! You bring Magic to the paper! Your flowers come to life! with each color ! So many wonderful techniques to learnand add to our work! You are truly a master! Loved the music! It brought a level of strength to each stroke!
This is so awe-inspiring. It's beautiful. One of the reasons I love watercolours over most other traditional mediums is just how natural it is. From the flow of the paint through the water, to the splatter of details and even the twig, it's all just so beautiful.
Hey K. This is the second painting I completed from watching your videos today. This turned out great! The twig gave a fragile, paper-like quality to the petals! Loved this. Many thanks!
Thanks for a very nice video; I liked how you demonstrated the use of water and how effective it was. Really liked the flower especially how you did the center! 👌🏻👩🏻🎨
I’m a beginner too and really love the calm way you show us how to paint. Although I,m not a good drawer at all, I just want try that method. Would you be so kind to tell what brand brush you use. The round no 8 I find are all very pointed. It seems that yours is quite round.
Thank you so much 😀 I am pleased you liked this tutorial and that it has inspired you to have a go. The brush that I was using was quite old and has lost its point. I can't remember the brand as the writing has worn off the brush. But it may be a sable brush from the SAA? 😊
I love this... I am on lockdown and doing watercolours to beat the boredom. I just have to give this a try. Going to forward the link to my Granddaughter too. Many thanks. Have liked and subscribed.
@@KarenRiceArt Would there be any possibility you could demonstrate a bunch of say 4 or 5 please ? I just love watching poppies being painted. you see I`m trying to muster up enough courage to have a go at a bunch of poppies I`m just lacking the confidence.
Will you please share information on that great brush you are using, would love to purchase one, txs for your time and for your videos - you are one of my favorites
Thanks so much! You can buy the Neef Needle brush from Amazon or Alvaro Castagnet Website:alvarocastagnet.net/shop/needle-point-brush-8/. Hope this was helpful :)
I apologize for my repeated request - I am old as dirt and not computer savvy, I just ordered that wonderful brush and I thank you - your videos are very informative and I enjoy your voice which for me is important with RUclips tutorials, a follower, MJ
