    Many thanks for this, it was lovely and very helpful. I was particularly interested to see that you still used quite a big brush when you added the edge and extra colour to the front petal of the top poppy - I have been trying to add things like that to semi-abstract backgrounds using a small rigger or detail brush and then blending out, but haven't been at all pleased with the results; now I know why! Will definitely try using a larger brush in the way you did. Thanks!

      Hi I cant remember now! I think it might be indigo, but you can use a really dark purple, prussian blue or a black.

    I like the purple ones at 2:30 . You can always go back and add some extra color to pull some more details out of the flowers.

    Сюда мазнула, туда размазала, тут потыкала, бумажечкой протерла... И получилось шедеврально. Талантливый человек с золотыми руками. Если я вам потыкаю и размажу вы меня точно, как эти маки размажите.

      that's the funniest feedback I've had. Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. I can promise I wasn't sedated, I just get distracted by what Im doing and forget to talk! I think I am getting a bit better now I have had a bit more practice! :-)

      Im so sorry! I cant remember. I think it was probably deep scarlet, a Daniel Smith one with some added yellow. I think poppies are always a little orange in tone.
