You said “there is no point in watching me drawing”, but it is in the drawing that the magic happens! I couldn’t see anything in the bubbles themselves but watching you draw and using your imagination was fascinating. Adding the extra bubbles and lines added a beautiful delicacy. Thanks for sharing😊
Blow the bubbles and tilt the bowl slightly. The bubbles will waterfall out of the bowel and onto your surface. I’ve done this painting pottery. A lovely effect.
I love what you created after the bubbles dried. I really think that you are too hard on yourself as all artists are, because I think that they were perfectly done!
Isn't it amazing how we all see art so differently? I was blown away as I watched you bring a stingray to life, out of a beautiful bubbly background! And I loved the background you threw away, I would have added some more color to it somehow, it was so pretty. I think the way you made a tree out of the last picture is so creative! Next time you play with bubbles you'll have even more fun! 😊
It is! You are so right! There was a time when I thought that: this project I made is great, everybody will love it and that didnt happen :) Then again sth I was no quite proud of was getting a lot of nice reactions, and people are seeing different things in our creations! Finally I got it! And I am so happy we are all so different! Cant' wait till the next bubble time, lol! Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! 😘😘
I am a retired art teacher. This outcome has been one of my favorites for years to print bubbles with my kindergarten classes! We used dish soap and tempura paint in bowls and blew the bubbles with straws…then laid the paper directly on to the bubbles in the bowl. Perfect prints and can layer the colors❣️I love your video!
I did this together with the small kids when my youngest son, born in July, had his birthday party. It was so much fun, because I was breeding American Bulldogs then and so I had 14 puppies aged 5 weeks when we had the birthday party in the garden. We had colorful bubbles and food color all over the garden. The kids and the dogs were having so much fun making and playing with the fancy bubbles. This really turned my garden into a wonderful fantasy world. 😍
Do you have to put a lot of acrylic paint in the mix? I just tried this and failed miserably. No big bubbles sticking (I tried with some bicarbonate of soda too) and no colour in the bubbles 🙃
@valeriefisk923 I used fluid acrylics, so very little water. You have to fiddle with amount of soap, water and paint. It would work with acrylic inks as well.
Best with food colouring and water and dish soap… kids love this. Blow bubbles up in a bowl with a straw…lay paper over the top of bowl to pop bubbles onto the paper.
I tried it, and it worked 😅. I found if I kept blowing the bubbles (in a cup) they would automatically spill over onto the watercolour paper and then I could just add the paint as I wished. I’ll definitely be doing this again. Thank you 😊
Cool! I need to still try this technique! Thank you! xx I just uploaded a new video, if you feel like watching, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/qL-a9fxv3Bo/видео.html
Ahh the photo of the bubbles with all the paint settled in the intersections between them is so cool. I especially love the areas where there are tiny bubbles in front, in sharp focus, & then a bigger bubble, out of focus, behind them, so that it’s just a vacancy looming in the background. Bubbles en masse create such an orderly chaos, a pseudo-fractal, & when you add the gradient of the dark paint all settling to one side it makes for quite a fascinating pattern.
I agree with every single word you wrote! I feel the same way! And I find the bubbles amazing! The photos are also my fav part of the project :) Thnak you so much and have a great day! xx I just uploaded a new video, if you feel like watching, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/qL-a9fxv3Bo/видео.html
I an Early years teacher and we do this in nursery. It is called bubble painting. We use ordinary poster paint with washing up liquid in it and give the kids straws to blow bubbles. And then you just placed a piece of paper directly on top of the bubbles and then lift it off to dry.
Loved this and loved the ones you doodled and stamped on. To get the larger bubbles, put your solution in a deeper cup, blow and allow your bubbles to drop to the paper without scooping them. You can also raise your straw up into the bubbles you have in the cup and blow more air into them thus making them larger. We did this at an art retreat I went to in July. So fun and pretty.
Thank you I’m going to try this . They are magical. And your results are too. Don’t be too critical, there is no bad. I absolutely love the stingray. I like that you added the extra bubbles with the acrylic. It’s just beautiful
What a cool effect!!! Add glycerin to your bubble soap, that bowl about 8 drops or aa quick squirt. It makes the bubble tough so they hold up. Never hear about baking soda and please don't add corn syrup. Bugs will eat your paper.
Thank you so much! No corn syrup in my house, so no worries, but the tip maybe be useful to other artists who read the comments, so thank you so much for sharing :) Next time I will go for glycerine, it seems this is the most popular option :) Big hugs! xx
I prefer you talking (w/ just a bit of music for the fill-in times). You have a beautiful, calming voice & your struggles w/ words only make you human! I like following along, as if we were crafting together, hearing what you’re thinking as you work & why you add this or that or what you do or don’t like. Otherwise it’s just a tutorial. I like learning who you are as an artist. I watched this cause I mainly do cards, so am always looking for new ways to color paper for die cuts. That blue/teal is perfect for butterflies or dragonflies. However, seeing you doodling (something I’m not good at), made me think I might try to use these techniques to do a journal cover if I make one again. You trying something new on your own, makes me want to branch out again. Great video! Thanks.
Dear Debbie, thank you so very much for your kind words! I feel less self- concious now :) My English and my speaking always makes me nervous, but it helps so much to know that it's appreciated! Go for doodling! I am not that good at it either, but I am learning along :) Big hugs! 😘

Suggestion. Try using a color printer to print copies of your background to experiment with embellishments and stamps etc to see if you’ll like it and commit to your original

Ohhhh..it took me a moment to understand what you are suggesting, but that is an EXCELLENT idea! I've been a professional artist for about 30+ yrs and if I was ever aware of that idea I've certainly forgotten it! So THANK YOU!!! Some injuries have stolen away some of memory, as well as some fine motor skills, so this idea is VERY helpful to me! And the bubbles such a lovely idea that has already triggered SEVERAL creative visions in my mind. Thank you, Asia Marquet www.youtube.com/@LemonCreationART ...Steph in Dundas, Ontario...
I love this technique, thanks for sharing. I’ve done a similar effect with alcohol inks and made some pretty coasters that I also drew to expand the creativity.
Thank you so much! This is great idea with the coasters! xx I just uploaded a new video, if you feel like watching, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/qL-a9fxv3Bo/видео.html
I think the one with weed stamp is the most beautiful. Try some other very delicate florals, add some Gold or Silver ink or paint to the, they make beautiful abstracts. Never through out your "mistakes", keep them, look at them by turning them around, or adding abstract marks in Gold or Silver, if you still don't like them, punch out shapes or cut out shapes and on the back write an Art Prompt. That's a color pallet to try at another time, just write the colors on the back, or make marks that you like such as squares, circles, dots etc. to use in an abstract or one of your paintings. Hope this helps and encourages you to never throw away your " mistakes" you could also cut or tear them up for collage. Happy painting!😊🎨

Hello, Asia, I just saw your video this morning! I love your idea! The way you used the bubbles to create all those backgrounds is simply genius. I'm looking forward to seeing your other works and creations. Thank you for sharing them and your beautiful creativity!
Oh wow, your paintings are amazing! Wish I could do that... Thank you so much! xx I just uploaded a new video, if you feel like watching, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/qL-a9fxv3Bo/видео.html
Sometime soon I'll have to try this. The results look really cool!! I had seen another tutorial, where someone used the cut-off top of a plastic bottle. They pulled an old sock over the wider end (the cut edge) and secured it with an elastic band. This sock was then dipped into a coffee and dish soap mix (they used coffee to dye their paper), but of course colored paint would surely work as well. Then they carefully blew through the bottle's nozzle, and from the soaked sock would come the bubbles, which could be placed onto the paper directly from this bottle-sock-construction. Depending on how much dish soap was used and how fast/strong they blew into the bottle, the bubbles were larger or smaller. That might be a useful technique especially if you use a larger piece of paper and don't want to scoop the bubbles, but be able to create them right on the paper. I haven't tried it yet, but seeing this video reminded me of bubbles and paint. I think, with either technique, the results are beautiful and definitely look like lots of fun making! 🤩
These are so lovely! I have such a hard time making "organic" shapes, and this is a lovely way to surrender to the process, and just let the shapes and designs "happen". I love the results that you got - and it looks fun too! 😊❤
Hi Kelly :) I was enjoying it I have to say! It's cool to be bale to blow the bubbles for art project, lol! Love the organic feel to it as well:) BIg h=thanks nad big hugs! xx
Hello from Liverpool, England. I am just starting to learn how to use watercolours, I am 68 and have not painted since I was in school! So this will be my first project, you have given me the confidence to use this technique without feeling overwhelmed! Thank you so much. ❤
Hi Pauline, I am so happy you are back to painting! We all need a alittle "me" time and I hope you gonna enjoy it! Thank you so much and happy painting! ❤️
@@LemonCreationART Thank you, you should feel very proud that you post a video and 7 months later it has such a profound effect on a person you have never met! I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to your other content.
I love, love, LOVE that you just go and do and whatever it is it is!. This is a technique that's been used on bisque clay for many decades. However, for the bisque, paint is put directly in the water with the dish soap and then foamed with the straw. Lift the colored bubbles off of the cup and place on the bisque/paper/canvas. Voila! Easier than placing paint on the bubbles.
SOOO beautiful! I can't wait to try this. My granddaughters will be crazy about this too!!! I love the fantastic paintings you created from the bubbles!!!
Thank you so very much Sherry! This would be a great idea to do with children and I am sure your granddaugher will love it! BTW- you are such a cool grandma for wanting to do that with her! She is a lucky girl! xx
Watching you create all the samples including the ones you dont like, is so real. You are so honest with your viewers and i find that to be refreshing. Thank you for making a wonderful video including your so-called mistakes and all. But i didn't see any mistakes anywhere.. all i saw was you being honest and brave.
Thank you so very much! I am happy that you didin't see my mistakes even though fior me there were some :) I am so far from perfect crafter, thats' why I want to show all the hiccups which goes with the process. It's a right think to do :) And it encourages others to try, I believe :) And hope :) Have a great week! xx
I love watching you experiment with the bubbles and how every single piece is unique i can imagine using those colourful formations and painting/drawing around them just as you did 🥰

Never say negative things about your show. I saw the bubble watercolor. I tried it. I think I need practice lol. But the point is I went and tried something new. Thank you. I enjoyed you videos!
This is very useful for creating reptile skin patterns, for example in dragon or fantastical illustrations, and of course realistic portraits as well (I am thinking iguana skin)

I’ve never seen the bubble making done with applying ink after bubbles have been applied to the card , but I’ve never seen the bubble effect look so prominent . Thanks for sharing , will defiantly be trying this .
OMG I love the water color with dish soap affect! I make handmade journals and I think this is so organic and interesting for the mind to look at. Thank you for showing me how to do this. I love your videos.

I think your "fish" one is beautiful! Continue on with delicate line drawing to bring out the flowing graceful fins (?) that sway and float around. Beautiful. I'm going to do this!!!
You are so humble! I loved seeing your bubble techniques and the fish and ray were superb! Actually, I thought your fish might become a hen or rooster but your interpretation was better. Of course I am unable to draw the way you do, but will try your bubble method purely for texture! Thank you!
I just found your channel and enjoyed the two videos that I watched. I have made bubble paper using dish soap and coffee, I put my paper on top of the bubbles, so after watching your video, I can’t wait to try watercolour bubbles. I like what I see, so thank you!
Thanks for the video!!! I've not been practising watercolour for at least 2 years I think. I want to resume my hobby. I think that your technique is the way to get back into it in the most relaxing and funny way possible! I don't know what the results will be, but I hope some paintings will go in my art journal!
You are welcome and thans for watching! I am not great with watercolors, that's why i am experimenting! I am sure you will create beautfiul art! Big hugs!
This reminds me of the time I was using a plastic canvas, with little squares on it on my gelli plate. When I went to was the plastic canvas off the paint came off in a big piece and I quickly grabbed a page out of a book and was able to save it.
Thank you so very much:! That is so kind of you! And good luck with the bubbles! My second trial didn't work as well- have no idea why... Working on tit though :) My newest video is out if you maybe fancy watching it? :) ruclips.net/video/AsiiXeMHyeg/видео.html Big hugs! xx
You made some lovely papers using your own version of the technique, I've seen it done the other way when you colour the bubbles in the bowl then push the paper down onto it... I think the density of colour needs to be quite strong... But I've never tried it myself so I'm not sure! I love the branches one and the adding of silver to the ray was gorgeous 🤣🤣💕
THank you! And exactly- it really is a fun and effects are unpredictable! Enjoy! xx I just uploaded a new video, if you feel like watching, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/qL-a9fxv3Bo/видео.html

I just saw your video this morning! I love your idea! The way you used the bubbles to create all those backgrounds is simply genius. I'm looking forward to seeing your other works and creations. Thank you for sharing them and your beautiful creativity!
Thank you very much Samuel! Have great day!
Even though I paint it's always wonderful to watch the fellow artists to create. Fantastic!!!
Thank you so very much! It's a great tip for next video :) Sending you huge hugs! xx
Brilliant idea.. can't wait to try this. Thanks
Your so honest n its refreshing to hear your learning too
As art is a constant learning curb.
As our art evolves if we let go.
Thank you so much for saying that! Have a great day!
I’ve never seen this technique Asia. I think it’s really cool. Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
That's the beauty of it Stacey! We will never see it all ;) I am still surprised by discovering regularly sth I haven't yet see, lol! Big hugs dear! 😘
Thank you so much! It's a great tip! xxx
Thank you for showing your experimenting process! Appreciated! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! xx
In love with that fish!!🐟. Great project!! TFS...👍
Thank you so much Sylvia! xx
It's a right think to do :) And it encourages others to try, I believe :) And hope :) Have a great week! xx
I love watching you experiment with the bubbles and how every single piece is unique i can imagine using those colourful formations and painting/drawing around them just as you did 🥰
Thank you so very much! Have a great day! xx

Never say negative things about your show. I saw the bubble watercolor. I tried it. I think I need practice lol. But the point is I went and tried something new. Thank you. I enjoyed you videos!
Thank you so much Janine! xx
This is very useful for creating reptile skin patterns, for example in dragon or fantastical illustrations, and of course realistic portraits as well (I am thinking iguana skin)
You are teh first person to say that and it is so true! Thank you! xx
Yes, what a great idea! Reptile skin, dragons, etc. totally see that
Not wasting...inventing.. you're amazing🎉💜💜💜💜💜
You can also touch the paper to the bubbles instead of scooping them onto the paper.
Thank you! I saw this technique after making the video, need to try it ;)
Glycerin will help make the bubble stronger. Very cool technique, thanks for sharing!
Thank you so very much! xx
I’ve tried something similar with Magicals, I believe. Very cool effects!❤ Love these!!
Haven't try it with Magicals yet, but this is just a warm up for me ;) Thank you! 😘😘
What are Magicals?
I think your work is beautiful!!! ❤

This is a wonderful tutorial and I going to practice enough to show my drawing & painting classes as they need a new experience to finish out the trimester. Thanks
Thank you so much! Enjoy! Practice is the key as not all the soaps/ papers work well :) xx
Brilliant, my shape.
Thank you for the tips!!
Thank you so much Heidi :) xx
The person that made something are always the hardest critic. Your work is wonderful and you are very pleasant to listen to. Thank you for sharing 👍💐
Thank you so much Janice for you sweet comment! Big hugs, xx
I’ve never seen the bubble making done with applying ink after bubbles have been applied to the card , but I’ve never seen the bubble effect look so prominent . Thanks for sharing , will defiantly be trying this .
Thank you so much Julie! Happy crafting! xx
OMG I love the water color with dish soap affect! I make handmade journals and I think this is so organic and interesting for the mind to look at. Thank you for showing me how to do this. I love your videos.
Thank you so much! Yes, it does look organic and so relaxing also- once you get it right though 😁 Big hugs!!!

I immediately saw a beautiful GUPPY fish and a STINGRAY in this and it was so satisfying to see you doodle draw it. ❤
Thank you so much Lisa! So sad I saw the fish a little bit too late to draw it better- it could have look so much nicer :) Or not :) It is what it is :) I am happy we saw the same things :) Big hugs!

Use a bubble wand. The small ones. Dip it in the color water and blow it onto the paper. Amazing results 🫶🏼
Try acrylic paints too but water down
I have only the huge one, lol! Need to buy the small one now :) Thank you so much! xx
Have you seen my brand new video? I will be so happy of you do :)➡️ ruclips.net/video/4lcmRAfOZeM/видео.html

I think your "fish" one is beautiful! Continue on with delicate line drawing to bring out the flowing graceful fins (?) that sway and float around. Beautiful. I'm going to do this!!!
Thank you so very much Diane! Have a great day! xx
This is absolutely a wonderful technique. Great for abstract painting. Very useful. Thank you.
Thank you so much! xx
I just tried this technique, and it created the perfect background for my dragonflies... ty for sharing
I am so happy! Thank you! xx
Very nice!! Love the fish ❤…and the branches !
Thank you so very much! 😘
You are so humble! I loved seeing your bubble techniques and the fish and ray were superb! Actually, I thought your fish might become a hen or rooster but your interpretation was better. Of course I am unable to draw the way you do, but will try your bubble method purely for texture! Thank you!
Dont u love it when u discover a new method.
They are amazing, thanku ❤
I do! Thank you Karen! xx
I just found your channel and enjoyed the two videos that I watched. I have made bubble paper using dish soap and coffee, I put my paper on top of the bubbles, so after watching your video, I can’t wait to try watercolour bubbles. I like what I see, so thank you!

Big hugs!
Very imaginative. I love your interpretation of the bubbles into sea creatures!
Thank you so much! xx

What a fun, creative exploration! I’m a first timer and really enjoyed spending this time with you! I’ll definitely be back. XO
Thank you so much Ginny! Big hugs and I hope you'll be back :) 😘
Instead of stirring the mixture, blow through a straw to get bigger bubbles. Great video! Oh, and I really like the ray!!!!
Wow!!! Magical!!! Its beautiful and enchanting...Thank you for sharing..❤❤❤
Thank you so very much! xx
Very cool, I have heard about this technique but have never tried it. I too saw a fish. Really cool, thank you for sharing.

Thank you! xx
You are so lovely!!! Thank you for sharing your heart work ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! xx
This reminds me of the time I was using a plastic canvas, with little squares on it on my gelli plate. When I went to was the plastic canvas off the paint came off in a big piece and I quickly grabbed a page out of a book and was able to save it.
Good for you for saving it! Thank you for watching! big hugs!
I like your stingray and all of your work, good examples, thank you.
Thank you Sammie! xx
Love your talent enthusiasm and laughter. I celebrate all your successes and mishaps. Trying the bubble watercolor right now.
Thank you so very much:! That is so kind of you! And good luck with the bubbles! My second trial didn't work as well- have no idea why... Working on tit though :)
My newest video is out if you maybe fancy watching it? :) ruclips.net/video/AsiiXeMHyeg/видео.html

What a neat idea, bubbles. Will give it a whirl! TYSM for sharing! ❤🎉
Thank you Ashley! xx
Love the video, this is amazing!
I will try this.
Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you Jerry!
Thank you so much Elaine! I am always learning sth new😁 Big hugs! xx
Wow! This is amazing. I love it & can't wait to try it myself --- what wonderful little kid fun I'll have. ❤😅
THank you! And exactly- it really is a fun and effects are unpredictable! Enjoy! xx
I just uploaded a new video, if you feel like watching, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/qL-a9fxv3Bo/видео.html
