I love this! Thank you so much. I’m a watercolorist, and I also have a few stamps. I never even thought of stamping with watercolor! I’ll definitely be trying this.
Wow, watercolour stamping! What a great idea! I love how this piece turned out. Great colours. Reminds me of a dark, rainy day! Have a great week, Asia! 😊💖
Beautiful! That dotted stamp is one of my favorites. And this is such a cool idea - I love the organic look of the watercolor on the stamped area. It's not a flat, perfect color; instead, it's got dimension and a more natural, casual feel to it. Love it. ❤
Well here we are…time of the year I try and create a cover for my cheap monthly calendar and this is exactly my style. Now to just actually do it! TFS lovely
I love what you created. I just ordered 5 of Marsha's dots, the colors you used plus 3 more, I love the texture of the granulated paint. Thank you so much for such wonderful inspiration!
🥰 this is gorgeous, I really love it! And thank you for the real time demonstration, and the new to me techniques, that was really helpful ❤ hope you have a lovely day! 🤗 x
WOW! You have really opened up so many possibilities for using stamps! I had never seen anyone use watercolor for stamping. Can't wait to try this with YOUR stamps! MUCH Love & Respect... Deborah (:
Another great approach is to use watercolor sticks rubbed directly onto a rubber stamp that has been lightly misted with water. The silicone stamps don’t work as well as the rubber.
I just received some Mashas watercolors today‼️. Going to try them out tomorrow🍄. I’ve followed you a long time & your art is so simple & you put everything together in such a beautiful way❣️❣️
I LOVE THIS!!! I've used acrylics before, but not watercolors,,,and, I must say, this is BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm definitely going to try this,,,thank you for sharing!
@@LemonCreationART You can be sure that we will! We get a whole week of doing arts and crafts together, and then I send it all home with her. Bwahahahahaha! :P
Some great tips on watercolour stamping... I've never really tried it as others I've seen do it seemed to end up very messy and didn't like the results... Yours is a great result 😁😁❤️
Almost looks like a bird with outstretched wings coming in to land on barbed wire. Very beautiful. I’m a huge fan of using Distress Oxide Sprays on stamps but haven’t tried watercolour paint. Will definitely try
Funny…I was just thinking about this earlier…..wondering if it was possible to do stampings using we paint, and then you popped up with the answer, that yes it can be done. Thanks for sharing and the lesson. ❤xo
That's lovely, very interesting, I've never stamped with watercolors, something new to try. I personally dislike the Canson XL paper, I find it impossible to get a smooth wash on it but Arches paper now has gotten to a rediculous price. The Canson isn't 100 percent cotton which is why it handles the water very differently. I did recently buy online some Baohung watercolor paper which is 100 percent cotton, has decent reviews, the artist's watercolor paper is better than the other one, there are two kinds. The price is also reasonable, I've tried it and at least you can get a smooth wet wash without blooms.
Thank yuo Nicole! I may try thos paper :) I do not create too much with watercolors and I am certainly not an expert, but I like to experiment and I've noticed that so much depends on the paper :) xx
LOVE THIS!!! I have watched this video over & over, but mine don't look a bit like this. Ugh!! It looks so EASY! But it's NOT!!! LOL, I'll just keep trying!!! TFS!! Austin TX USA
Dear Barbara, we are our worst critics! Let go of the judgement and enjoy! And as I say- it all depends on the paint, amaount of water, paper and stamp itself, so experiment :) It took me long time to get it and even now i still make mistakes sometimes :) Happy painting (and stamping! :) Big hugs! 😘
Thank you so much Asia, I really really love ❤❤ and enjoyed watching you create this beautiful and wonderful abstract piece. You should frame it and put it on your wall in pride of place. Please stay safe and well too too xxxx Mags. Asia, I’ve just been to you online shop, but, I can’t find the stitched lines that you used in this painting? Can you please let me know if I can get it and how please thank you so much xxx
Thank you so much dear Mags! You have always such a kind words for me- I am so grateful! I just checked out and they just sold out today. The stamp set is called Hanging By a Thread and it will be available around 22 Nov- it is already in production and should arrive soon :) I am really sorry for the out of stock situation, but lately I got a lot of orders and I have a very limited stock due to high production costs... My shop is empty :( Can't wait to restock it. Big hugs and once again- my apologises 😘😘😘
