These are gorgeous! Can’t wait to try them myself. I love your teaching style. You’re explanations are clear, concise and calmly executed. Thanks for taking the time and effort to make these videos.
Those are really pretty! A tip - to help flatten your cards completely, run them through your die cutting machine, with no dies, of course. It works great!
Wow! I love these! I love watercolor - but I am not an artist, so I have never even tried to do it myself. I think I could do this! Thanks you for this video! Can't wait to see how mine turn out! I really am inspired that I might be able to make something beautiful.
Thank you, I've used cling film before with both watercolours and FW acrylic inks as backgrounds which I loved but not in card making, so I'm all set for giving it a go now! ❤
I love your enthusiasm, creative energy and genuine passion for working with your materials, learning, teaching, relishing in the fun and opportunities of this medium. Thank you!
Very pretty! Love the technique, thanks! I think if I did this I would love to do the die cuts with dark blue and white and offset them so they pop a little more! Love it!
Hi there! Just discovered these beautiful creations of yours! Who would have thought that the fairly random placement of water, colour & Glad Wrap can produce such exquisite results. All my cards are original one ofs, so this technique really appeals. Lovely! TFS🥰🌹
Thank you for this they’re absolutely beautiful . One question can you do this texture in Christmas cards too , I make my own cards so it would be nice to do something totally different to what I’m use too . You’re so inspiring. Watching from United Kingdom 🇬🇧
Yes, absolutely. You could use a Christmas Greeting Stamp or die cut on the front of the card, or stamp a Christmas greeting inside the cards. I love using heat set embossing powder and a Christmas greeting stamp straight over the watercolor . It works! Black or white would be my choices.
What a fun idea! I have a huge collection of blank cards left over from years ago. Some of them have debossed borders with colored frames and lined envelopes to match. This will be fun and easy to try. Thank you!
I'm so glad this video popped up. I just subscribed and shared it on pinterest. ❤️❤ I'm wanting to get into watercolor and this is definitely something I can do. Thank you.
Beautiful, thanks for sharing. What is the name of the small die cut instrument you used? The large ones I see in craft stores are too large & expensive. Also, can any brand of design or stencil be used with it? I look forward to other videos
I watched because I was so curious. Magic is the word. It's trippy and wonderful. Love from Boston MA. 🪅 I don't know what this symbol means but it's really pretty.
Thank you so much for this! They are beautiful! Did you buy the envelopes the same size? I don't want to have to make envelopes. Would this technique work with 'cardstock' cards and matching envelopes (so I don't have to size cards and make envelopes) or is the cardstock to thin?
These are great questions…. 🙂I would recommend buying your envelopes first, then cut your cards slightly smaller than the envelope so they fit inside. Make your cards from watercolour paper, card stock won’t be sturdy enough to take so much water. I like Canson XL watercolour pads, they are easy to find , there’s a link in the description. You can create a nice, crisp fold on your cards using the edge of some scissors if you don’t have a bone folder or scoring tool. Make sure to leave the cling film on overnight. Have fun! 🫶🏻🙌
Well! How lovely are they. I'm not at all artistic but I'm going to give this a go. Thanks for the great tutorial, I'm subscribing! Love from Denise in England 😊
Most water based media should give you a result….crayons, markers, Watercolor pencils. As long as you use Watercolor paper, and have a wet, highly pigmented consistency, then leave overnight to dry. 🙂
🙂Oooh, that’s great! I started my stamping journey as a demonstrator 13 years ago and made so many wonderful friends and learned so many techniques that I decided to start my RUclips Channel. Stamping led me to print making and stamp carving and all things mixed media. I wish you much happiness on your journey. ❤️
The Watercolor paper and paints can be purchased through my Amazon affiliate links in the description. 🙂
These are gorgeous! Can’t wait to try them myself. I love your teaching style. You’re explanations are clear, concise and calmly executed. Thanks for taking the time and effort to make these videos.

Thank you
Very beautiful cards and a great video..thank you
Yes, thank you, the machine is a Big Shot die cutting machine from Sizzix. 🫶🏻🌟✂️
@@VickiParfenow thank you
Can you do the same with watercolor pencils?
Most water based media should give you a result….crayons, markers, Watercolor pencils.
As long as you use Watercolor paper, and have a wet, highly pigmented consistency, then leave overnight to dry. 🙂
Could also ad a white or black stencil?
The white might be too stark against the frame, but I LOVE the idea of a black stencil. ❤
What’s the drying tool called?
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you. 🫶🏻
The dollar store ?
Dollar Tree in the US , crazy bargains in Australia, not sure what the bargain stores are called in the UK. 😄🎅🏼🎄
