    Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This RUclips channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
    I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
    I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
    I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
    On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

    You should have a 20 handicapper hitting with you to get a real feel for the slightly mis-hit shots - I've hit so many irons recently trying to find my fit and these T350's are now on the list to try

      That's a great idea. I had some thoughts like that, making videos of my buddies using my blades vs their current clubs since they range from absolute beginner to high and mid and lower handicap golfers. I would love to pick up some select irons form current market sets like these ones Rick is featuring, to have my buddies and myself test vs the blades as well.

  • @jtl1380
    @jtl1380 11 месяцев назад +4

    Great video as always Rick! I'm sure they're probably fantastic & they look great...but they're also $1400 for a 5-PW set. I wouldn't even try these because of that price point when there's so many other offerings like the Tour Edge E/C723s, PXG 0211s, Takomo 101/101t, and other direct to consumer brands. That goes the same for the game improvement irons from brands like Taylor Made & Callaway. The vast majority of players that these irons are geared towards are not serious enough about the game to pay that kind of cash for irons. I'll keep plugging along with my Tour Edge C522s that I paid $1000 less for (and got an extra club) until I'm a good enough ball-striker to fork out some more serious cash for "player's" iron set.

    • @markwest9119
      @markwest9119 11 месяцев назад

      Yes please! I second that whole heartedly. I play a blend of JPX 923 HM and HMP (can't make up my mind on the 8 iron - longer clubs HM and 9 & PW HMP - also love the JPX 923 GW, SW & LW). But you and I both know by now that if we like the JPX 923 HM / HMP we aren't real golfers. Real golfers will be deciding between the equivalent latest Srixon model and the new Titleist series. For guys like us that got caught up in the marketing hype of the Mizunos (even though I love them - guessing maybe you do too) we have to ask (hope) to please include the 923s. Just trying to be light-hearted, but it does almost seem that way sometimes. : -)

Would very much consider 200s as the yardage is the same but prob have 350s 4&5. Torn between the 150s & 200s though. But if better scores are the name of the game then choosing the easier club to hit will be the go.

    I bought the T300 after a couple of months started playing golf and knowing I will be playing for the rest of my life. I haven't tried many irons to compare, but I once I started using them I improved massively and I started enjoying the game a lot. Obviously if a big investment, but I didn't regret it for a minute

    Thanks! I would like to see a video on the recommended loft, shaft and brand for various swing speeds. I am 61 and have a foot issue that has reduced my swing speed. My nephew is 27 and swings around 100. So what we should look towards would be a great help.

    This is on my short ( very short list ) to get fitted next January. Callaway Big Bertha B21 or Titleist T-350 irons 5,6,7, and maybe a T-200 for 8,9,PW, Gap W. about the same specs. Will have to look at the data from testing.

    I'm a Mizuno fan, I've avoided Titleist clubs because they have been often too difficult to hit. But these new Titleist clubs are looking clean and classy, like Mizuno irons. Very interesting, I'm a 10.6 hcp but I think I need more forgiveness, I have to check these out. Love your reviews still waiting for you to review the latest RAM irons and Macgregor irons out.

      The Hot Metal HL is worth checking out if you haven’t already. Looks great, not too big, not too offset and the weaker lofts really give that extra height a lot of us need. I agree about these Titleist clubs though. If I wasn’t so happy with my Mizuno’s I’d give these a long look.

      @@BuffaloBarber24 Nah. IMO if you're using the T300 the next move should be the T200. Unless you want to just stick with game improvement irons. I doubt it's much of an upgrade from T300 - T350

    For these game improvements irons, might help to use some sort of spray on the clubface so we can see the strike vs the outcome? Hope this helps

      @BuffaloBarber24 I can't see where getting the T350s are going to be worth getting since I just did get my T300s this past spring. But I do plan on going back to my golf store and trying them. Just because how much better I was able to hit the 300s compared to my Cobras. Maybe they have made a stronger iron again. Then I will have a really hard decision to make.
