What made you go for the hot metal pro rather than normal 923 hot metals? What handicap you play off?

I just got fitted for new irons… I hit all kinds of clubs, but I went with the mizuno JPX923 hot metal irons. They’re so forgiving and my ball striking with them is incredible. I can’t wait to get them and take them to the range!

Titleist fan for 30 years. Love their quality and customer service. Fitted for both, negligible difference in feel and numbers between them. Am turned off by the Titleist pricing, however. Extra for my shaft. Extra for my grips. None of that with the JPX Pro.

I hit them both several times (and srixon zx5’s) several times before picking the mizunos. Honestly after the first hit I knew the mizunos were for me but I don’t like making hasty decisions. Mizunos just felt better, launched higher, went straighter and had more spin. I can’t believe how they made a cast iron feel that good but they’ve done it

The great thing (one of the great things, you do a fine job all around) about your reviews is that most of your strikes (you have a bad day now and then, of course) are pretty well centered. The down side, and MANY share this restriction, all the data comes off a matt, and that skews the info quite a lot.

It’s time for me to transition to a new set. I have been using the Titleist AP3 since they were released. This T350 looks nice. So many offerings to choose from. I will have to drop by my local golf center and try them all. The Mizuno, the Wilson Daynapower, and the Srixon ZX MKII. Wish I could try the PXG Gen 6 or 5 0311 XP, and 0211 XCOR2. Appreciate your review.

I use JPX-921 Hot Metal irons and they are the best, most forgiving and LONG irons I’ve ever played. And I’ve tested a lot of sets, but I like the look of the new Titleist T350’s definitely a beautiful club. BUT… the price differential is HUGE. Titleist being $700 more a set here in Canada ahd poking at those numbers you got, not worth all that extra cash I’ll save it for other golf expenses like membership, etc.
