Your reviews are about as good as you can get for golfers with average to low swing speeds. Very helpful and the T200 is definitely worth testing alongside the T350.

exactly the info i was looking for.... tried the T-200's and Mizuno 243's.... T-200's were definitely easier to hit and I also was amazed at the height, especially when trying to fade one into the green. Thanks for your information... soooo helpful.

Hi Les! No problem at all! I’m glad it’s helped! My irons are the Mizuno JPX923 Forged, I moved to them from the original T200’s (which didn’t go as high or spin as much for me as these new ones do) and I absolutely love the Mizuno’s, so possibly an option for you to try too? There’s a review of mine on the channel if it’s helpful! All the best! 👍🏼

I play off a 5hc (84mph swing) and hit both. tbh i wanted the 350s just for more distance and forgiveness but the t200s did the same for me.. if you also look at the loft/spec sheet they are relatively the same numbers down low (8,9,p) so your only really getting a bit more bulk in the 350s. the t200s also for me with thin and mis-hit shots were still going the same number, so forgiveness was there for sure, straight away went with 200s for sure after this.

Hi mcquoidd6917! Thank you for watching my video and for sharing your own experiences with both these irons - I think it's great to have other opinions for people to get a rounded view! Totally agree re: lofts too as you move through the bag and that's definitely a consideration! I must admit, like you the T200 super impressed me! All the best!

Nice comparison Luke. These T200s were impressive. When I was looking for irons, I didn't try the T200s but did try the T150s. I really liked the performance of the T150s but I had the tendency to miss left with them. I've been using my Ping i230s for a few weeks now and absolutely love them.

Interesting test. I’m planning to test both these clubs soon. How do they feel off the club face? Some irons and wedges feel incredibly uncomfortable and hard particularly when miss hit. I currently use game improvement irons which are wearing out and want to upgrade to something that spins more. I play on a links style course regularly with firm greens where stopping the ball is difficult. I’m trying to find something that is comfortable but is consistent enough to grow into over time

Hi Ian! Thanks for watching and for your question! I personally really like the feel off the face with both! Not as soft as my own Mizuno JPX923 Forged but not far behind and certainly softer than the Ping i230/i530.
Based on what you’ve said I’d definitely test the T200 and would recommend TaylorMade P790 too. I liked the new Callaway Apex Ai200/300 irons but prefer the T200 and P790. The TM in my experience felt very similar all over the face! I’ve got a couple of videos with them on my channel! I haven’t hit the new Mizuno’s yet (JPX925) but if they are anything like my model you’ll like the feel of them too I suspect! And if you’re looking for a bargain try the Wilson DynaPower Forged too. As good as anything I’ve mentioned, look stunning, feel great and only 2/3’s the price! If I was buying new irons tomorrow that’d be the 4 I put head to head!
All the best with your testing! Would love to hear how you get on! 👍🏼

Good one Luke. Thanks for the info. Personally, I can't take the chunky look of the 350, my cavity back sets have always had a blade like look at address. I do like the numbers of the T200 though, and prefer the weaker lofts and the sharper descent angles. Have a great weekend!

Hi Petro! Definitely hear you there! The T200 are a great option for so many golfers. Not blade like size but not huge and then offering some great numbers! Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend too! 👍🏼

4.2 handicap. Been in between the T-200 and T-350 to replace my old Titleist dci black I’ve been using. What do you think would be best? I’m only looking at 7 iron up. Have hybrids in place of the lower number irons.

Hi BeardedGiant41! I think you’d much prefer T200. I play off 11.5 and it would be T200 all day for me. I’ve got a friend who plays off 18 and loves the T350 but I think a lower handicap player will want the benefits T200 offers better players! I hope that helps and thanks for watching! 👍🏼

@@weekendtourpros very informative video. Thanks for the recommendation T-200 seems to be the overwhelming best option for 7 iron up. Mainly looking at newer irons for some extra iron carry distance.

At my age and swing speed, I would automatically choose the most forgiving. But the 200 seems right up there. Would not be an easy choice Luke. I think the 350 would be better for me.

Hi John! I hear you! I actually used a set of the original T300’s as a hire set in Thailand a couple of years back and did really enjoy them so I think the T350’s do offer a great iron and I think the numbers would have been stronger if I was a bit more centred on my strike! 👍🏼

You have to test them both. I thought I would be going for the game improvements myself. But once I swung the t200’a they were by far the best for me.

Great review Luke. For a mid handicapper (I'm currently an 11)...it seems like T200 and T350 might make for a nice mixed set. Maybe the T350 in the 5 and 6 irons and the T200 in the 7-PW. The lofts might need to be adjusted to make the transition from the 6 to 7 irons as seamless as possible. Anyway, thanks for the review and have a great weekend!

I'm a similar handicap and went for a set of 5-GW of the T200. Our outdoor season is really just getting under way here in Ontario Canada, and I got these over the winter so I've only got a couple rounds in with them so far...but I am really enjoying them. They feel great when I hit them in the middle, and offer decent forgiveness on off center hits. The better miss is inside of the middle of the face rather than toe side...honestly Luke should be getting more distance out of both of those irons with a better strike location.

Hi Brian! Thanks for watching! Yes I think that’s a definite benefit and option with the T series - they give fantastic combo options! Like you the extra help in the long irons from the T350 could be a great option! 👍🏼

Hi Chris! Thanks for sharing your insight! I really love this part of our community so thank you!
I felt the numbers I got out the T200 were really good numbers for my swing speed, especially compared to other players distance irons I’ve tested recently. I was super impressed. However I definitely agree and was expecting a little more from the T350 and think the slight drop off was due to my strike location! Thanks for watching! 👍🏼

@@brianbernstein7754 I was fit with the AMT Black S300 shafts. I was coming out of the Mizuno JPX 921 Tour....which is a standard loft forged CB iron. I wasn't finding the middle often enough to be consistent with my distances. With the T200's my misses aren't as different, I also found that my launch and peak height were higher with the T200's - and I'm playing 1 less club for each distance, so although the loft is the same - the club length is fractionally shorter, which should lead to better control.
I did not go into the T350 - but I did only get the set from 5-GW and filled the top of the set (4-iron) with a hybrid.

I have the T200 2021, and they are great, although a bit clicky. My handicap is 10. My dream would be to have 3 and 4 T350, 5-7 T200, and 9 P, 48 in T100.

Hi Kevin! Thanks for watching! Without testing it's hard to say with confidence... However whilst I think that at a slightly slower swing speed vs. me you'll enjoy the bit of extra pop off the T350, assuming you've been a similar level player or better for some time, if looks are important I think you'll prefer the T200 and I also think you'll enjoy the bit of extra spin you get out of them. A combo set could however be the perfect answer - Titleist are really passionate about offering this so maybe longer irons in T350 and get the T200 from 7/8 iron upwards and get them to step the lofts appropriately for you? I know golfers from 20 handicaps to professionals who combo their Titleist irons! So maybe an option? Thanks for watching and for your comment!

What about t400 is that discontinued. I am loving the t400 gives distance and very forgiving. I don’t understand has tietist discontinued t400 and got 350 or kept both then what’s the diff between 350 and 400

    • @weekendtourpros
      @weekendtourpros  4 месяца назад +3

Hi Anand! You can still buy the T400 in the UK, not sure about where you are based? I think Titleist introduced T150 (to sit between T100 and T200) and T350 (to sit between T200 and T400) at the same time. I’m not certain on this but my understanding was that T400 were really looking to compete with the super game improvement market e.g TM Stealth HD, Callaway Big Bertha, Ping G730 and things like Wilson DynaPower and Cleveland Halo Launcher XL whereas I think T350 are competing against that traditional Game Improvement market - TM Stealth, Ping G430, Callaway AI Smoke etc.
I’ve not hit the T400 but if the place I film at has them in leftie I’ll look to do a T350 vs T400 video in the future to test the differences. I know lofts are stronger on T400 but the size of the head allows them to move the centre of gravity down and back more, similar to hybrids and that helps maintain launch and increase forgiveness.
Thanks for watching my channel! All the best! 👍🏼
