    I appreciate that this is free . So thanks for doing this. If you want to improve, I’d say the echo chamber audio could be a great place to start.

    A DRAW for customization options? Ping has more than 6 lie choices, power and retro spec besides their regular. If you are only considering grip and shaft options but Ping give you WAY more options.

    Thanks for the review. I hit these two irons and also the Mizuno 245. Ended up with the 245. I thought feel was better with the 245 and I liked that it’s easy to adjust the iron head (lofts and lie) because the body is forged.

      Yes it’s a superb iron… we just did a video on 245 v P790 which will come out early next week! It performs so well!
      Thanks 👍🏻

    Another great review always well explained. Now a question for you which of these Players distance irons would you say are the most forgiving? I’m a senior15/16 handicapper normally in the game improvement sector but would like to move to an iron with more feel but still gives plenty of forgiveness.

      Thanks Seve! They both offer great forgiveness. The beauty of mizuno is they have 8 iron offerings if you include the JPX range too… so much choice and so much forgiveness in there! I’d lean towards the 245 but certainly worth trying JPX hot metal range too

    Thanks for the review. As a player who has always struggled with a lower ball flight off my irons, I was fit this offseason into the T200. I've only hit them in the Simulator so far as the season is just getting under way here in Toronto, but I'm really excited to get out on the course and play with the new irons. I was playing more traditionally lofted clubs in the Mizuno JPX 921 Tour....but still found that my peak height and land angle were better with the T200. And obviously with the stronger lofts, hitting a shorter club the same distance - is an advantage that will hopefully make a difference on the scorecard.
    edit: Question for you - are you hitting 7 iron in this review? My swing speed is in the ballpark of yours, ~90mph +/- with 7 iron, and my 7 iron carry distance in the sim here was around 165-170...you were getting 175-180+ on a good strike.

      Thanks Chris! Hitting 7i here out into the open. In previous tests in the winter we’ve seen differing results. That may be the same that you’re seeing in a sim.
      The T200 certainly has been excellent for launch. Still appealing to good players but offers a tad more forgiveness and help in getting the ball stopping on the green! Have a great season! 👍🏻

      @@AFGOLFSTORE Cheers! I'm a mid handicap...played off 13 at the end of last season. I'm hoping to get that back down into the single figures. The irons are more forgiving, and hit them higher and land softer. I also took some lessons this winter for the first time in a number of years. I don't need to get more out of it than 165-170...if it's much more than that it'll create gapping issues at the bottom end of the bag!!

    The t200 are great but they have quality issues. Mine and my mates have had the clear coat on the badge peel off. Which seems to be an issue with lots of people, that and the badge completely coming off

    What is the loft on the T200..i know the 7 iron on i530 is 29 degrees

    I just had an iron fitting and my experience was just the opposite…the T200’s were incredibly consistent distance wise, besting the i530, P790, Qi10, and the Smoke.

    Lofts too strong on the 530...I play the 525 which are way softer...and I consider them strong.

    Interesting, you have quite a bit of “sway” back in your swing. That must cause a bit of inconsistency. You sway back behind the ball, and then you seem to actually sway in front of the ball at impact - although that looks to be a bit variable. Huge timing chore. Good that you are able to do that I guess. May explain why you hit it low - swaying in front of the ball must take a huge amount of loft off.

  • @sudoroot8900
    @sudoroot8900 2 месяца назад

    your ball placment was different between the T200 and the ping. That would change your impact and spin. Hence why the T200 was sporadic in the distance.

    Preformence should always be first and shouldn't be worth the same amount of points as look and feel(which is subjective anyway). Never buy clubs off look and feel, It's the biggest mistake people make during testing.

    • @AFGOLFSTORE
      @AFGOLFSTORE  4 дня назад

      Fair point. Whilst there is data for performance it’s mostly subjective … more time in testing shafts etc would dial in. Look and feel are subjective but incredibly important- with the amount of clubs that would come up similar in testing it’s going to be imperative you like what you look down on and gives confidence.

      @@AFGOLFSTORE I have titleist irons and they're great. I agree look and feel is important, but like you said they are very similar at address. Data is fact. Look, feel, sound is opinion which in a head to head opinion shouldn't be the deciding factor.
      (Side by side numbers will determine a winner more accurately)

    I liked your review until you said Ping are the kings of customisation... and they are.... then you call it a draw🤔

    • @AFGOLFSTORE
      @AFGOLFSTORE  8 дней назад

      100% appreciate that but it’s purely on our business view and the fact we build for Titleist we can literally put anything in it. Ping win outside of that 👍🏻

    • @myusernames1967
      @myusernames1967 8 дней назад

      @@AFGOLFSTORE oh, that makes sense, you build for Titleist. So you can't do an honest unbiased review. Ping won that one but it's a draw, can't upset Titleist.
