    Agree with your analysis and I got similar numbers after going to a demo day and a fitting. The look of the T200 is better than last model, but does not sound or feel as good as the T150 and the spin was too low. I ordered the T150 today after playing Mizuno for 25 years.

    Should have kept the brushed look throughout the entire line not only on the t100 and t 150….. don’t care much for the chrome finish as they mark up so much faster and look like garbage after one season of play. Gonna go with the t150 rather then the t200 just for looks alone. Plus I like the slightly smaller head and thinner profile. 👍🏼🙂⛳️

    I agree with you on the different finishes of the 100/150 vs the 200/350, they would’ve been better served to have them all look similar. Small detail though. What about dispersion? Did you find the 200 was better than the 150?

    • @Stoetz
      @Stoetz Год назад

      if i was a betting man, i would say a consistent swing would net you tighter dispersion with the T150. T200 and T350 are made to not punish you on mishits, They still fly close to the correct distance, but would be a wider spread left and right.
      That being said, don't be afraid of T150, Titleist have said its essentially a new generation AP2, Which suited a large range of golfers

    Titleist has introduced a stunning line of irons that is by far the best they have ever produced. I love the T350’s and T200’s. I would likely choose the 350s if I needed irons however it is impossible to part with my Mizuno JPX - 921 hot metals as I love them. A price in Canada here sadly is inhibitive, taxes in $2200. For just seven clubs. The Mizuno line runs about $1300 which is giving extra money for buying other clubs necessary to complete a bag. Regardless Titleist have nailed it with looks and performance.

    Completely agree regarding the shiny finish of the T200 and T350, but having seen the T200 in person I don’t think it is as shiny as it looks in pictures so it isn’t too bad.
    Fitted into a 4-5 T200 and 6-PW T150 combo set and eagerly awaiting delivery. First time I’ve changed irons in 12 years - going from a set of Cleveland game improvement irons with super light regular flex shafts into Nippon Modus 105 extra stiff.
    I don’t think you can go wrong with any modern iron, I tried 9 different heads and they were all really good - I just preferred the classic looks of the the Titleist irons. My second favourites were the Cobra King Tours, incredible irons if you want to save yourself a couple of hundred quid over the T-Series!

      @@TerrysTwigReviews They’re great irons, biggest difference I’ve noticed is how forgiving they are off thin shots. If I hit it thin with my old irons the ball would barely get off the ground but with these they fly almost as high as a flushed shot.

    I wouldn’t mix the t150 and the t200 you would mix the t100 and the t150 and then mix the t200 with the t350…. The t100 and t 150 are players irons and the t200 and t 350 are more of a forgiving higher handicap club…. In my opinion at least that’s how I see mixing the set but to each their own 👍🏼🙂⛳️

I’m coming from the 6.0 LZ’s in 2019 T100s and I just felt like the slightly lighter weight and slightly more active 5.5 shaft will make a difference over 18-holes. New T200 also felt so much better than previous generations!! I had about 5-7 mph ball speed between each iron which I believe is pretty ideal. TT 🤩

    Great review…I previously played a blended set of the 2021 T100S/T200 irons but the T200s were soooo different for me that I couldn’t play them anymore and wound up putting the set in purgatory….biggest differences were sound/feel and the turf interaction…Recently got fitted with the 2023 T150 and T200 irons and they are much improved…the T200s showing the most improvement. Like you, I don’t agree with the different finishes across the T series…Titleist argues you can blend any of the irons together based on the performance and setup, but wish they would have made them all the brushed look…not a fan of the chrome of the T200…wound up with a blended set of T200 (4-6) and T150 (7-GW)…we’ll see how they compare to my Mizuno Pro 223/221 blended set!!

      @@slacrete2346 So….got my new Titleist irons Friday and hit them side by side with my Mizuno set. I didn’t feel much of a difference among the T150/MP 221/MP223. However, the T200 still has a slight clicky/crack sound. It’s much more palatable than the previous gen and I will need to do more testing to compare numbers. They are pretty comparable after my initial testing (which was 5 balls with each club, so not too in depth). Plan to do more testing to check on shot shaping, forgiveness, etc…

      @petegalindez9961 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@mikelytwyn3578 So, now having owned both sets or a while and played with both sets, here’s my assessment. The T150 is the best all around players iron for someone who needs a little help, but prefers are smaller head shape and doesn’t want to sacrifice feel. When not hit side by side with the 221s they feel soft. When hit side by side with the 221, you can notice the little extra help you are getting from them. The lofts are 2 degrees stronger in the T150s and the tungsten inserts give the ball more pop off the face…but, when played without the 221s side by side, you don’t notice it…the T200s, for me, still don’t cut it with this set…when I play a round with the T150s, I actually take the 223 5 & 6 from the Mizuno set as my longer irons…I just prefer them in terms of looks and feel, and as a result, they work better for me…

    Nice review. Last week I went and hit about 40 balls with each of these two irons. What I realized in a lot of these reviews that nobody talks about is the shafts. And the shafts make each of these clubs feel and hit very differently. I ended up going with the 200s but I think I'd have been happy with either. I'm 40 and this set will last me the next decade. That's why I went with the one with more forgiveness. I'm not getting any younger. Happy with my purchase. By either and you'll be happy. I will say I wish the 200s had a brushed finished option.

    My Titleist set is 620 MB in PW-7 then T150 in 7 and 6 (two 7-irons, yep) and then T200 in 5-iron. I do wish that T200s had the same finish as the T150s. But I got out the Dremel tool and some polishing pads and dulled them up a bit - they look great. Never been a fan of shiny chrome on golf clubs. On old cars, yes! My experience with the sound/feel of the T150 and T200 is that it's a lot better off grass than mats, especially the T200s. Eventually I'll come to my senses and probably play the T150s in the short irons, too, because they are extremely forgiving, but distance control and height are so good. But at the moment I'm getting it around okay with the 620 MBs, and the feeling of a pured one is unreal.

    • @kevinvassago
      @kevinvassago 4 месяца назад +1

      That's how I feel about a pured AP3. It almost feels like hitting air. My 5-7 irons are T-200, and my 8-PW are AP3. It's an amazing set up imo. Why do you carry two 7 irons? Is it a gapping issue, even though there's only like a 3° gap between the T150 and 620. What club did you choose to sacrifice for an extra 7 iron??

    • @danielcohen3159
      @danielcohen3159 3 месяца назад

      @@kevinvassago Hey Kevin! Yep, I also liked the AP3s a lot. The reason for the two 7-irons is that my whole set of T150s is bent 1° strong, which is where I like lofts for clubs that have a lot of help down low in the head and a hollow or semi-hollow design - I can max out distance while keeping a decent descent angle. And it also makes a nice 4° gap between irons of the same number in T150 (bent to 31°) and 620 (35°).
      I usually only carry 12 or 13 clubs anyway, because I only go up to 5 iron, only have 2 fairway woods, and only carry a couple of wedges. So I didn't have to drop anything. In fact, I also had to order the 48° wedge in the T150s, because the PW is about 120y for me and the 52° is around 95y, so there was a big gap there.

    I bought my T150s after a Titleist fitting at Foregolf . . . . multiple shafts tried and the current advice was to avoid blending, I tried the 5i Fromm both and my performance was better with the T150. The improvement for me from the T100S was front to back dispersion which was much better with the T150. The primary message is ‘fitting is key’ the shaft makes such a difference, and what I liked the most . . . was not what I bought
