Had a fitting Monday , thought wanted the 200s but coming from a forged Ben hogan ptx pro that are like pure butter the T200 was like hitting a stone I felt ! Have ordered the T150s with black amt shafts that looked amazing and flew such a great flight .. softer off the face too being one piece forged … love my Hogans but thought time for but more distance and forgiveness that can still shape … can’t wait for them to come ! Great video btw 👍🏼😊
I've hit them all @ 110 ball speed with a 7 iron the T200 seems like a good choice as long as tie them into a mid/high launch shaft. Great review as always!
Totally agree with you about the plastic insert on the back of the previous T200. It did feel like it would fall off at any time, and it did seem really cheap. Especially to someone who is still using solid forged blades. I hope to try out the T150 and T200 in the next few days, and had been thinking, the first thing I'm going to do is tap that back insert. LOL
I have the last version of the T300’s and they’ve improved my game dramatically. I’d be interested to see what the T150’s would be like! They look awesome.
Really like what I see this release. When I wear out my 923 HMP irons I am definitely putting Titleist on my hit list. The T200 did come in a close second for my current fitting. And the standard lie angles with Titleist fit me well too, which Titleist irons seem to favor those who need a more upright lie.
Good stuff and great production. Thank you. Indeed I’m looking this next winter for a fitting and Titleist T-350 is on my short list. I need height..+++ and land angle look pretty good. One comment I will try to mix T-200 in the more lofted clubs such as 8,9,PW because the sole of the T-350 is probably too wide for fancy chipping around the green and no need at my technical level for a Vokey.
Its always good to see someone who knows what they are talking about, who has impartiality and that is also a solid ball striker for no nonsense info. I bought the TaylorMade P790 UDI 2 iron after your review and i absolutely love it. Also helps that our speed, launch and spin from what i have seen are very similar so basically you are testing everything for me, so thanks for that 😂 Keep up the good work 👍👍
They have made big improvements in the release, especially in the 'blendability' between the series and the quality/aesthetics in the 200 and 350. I need to maximise spin in my scoring irons and distance in my longer irons so my choice would be a T100/T150/T200 blended set.
Great review... The only thing that makes me pause is the "Forged Feel" of Titleist irons. I play Endo forged irons and Mizuno in the past and everything else is "Clicky" in comparison. Srixon ZX7 and ZX5 Combo set VS T150 T200 Combo would be a good video
I don't know .... looking a the numbers chart at 18:54 it appears there's no reason to get the T150 as the T200 are better although just marginally. I guess cosmetically and feel would go to the T150. Also it appears to have better consistency/dispersion
went for an iron fitting today. was set on taylormade p770 or mizuno's so hadn't done any homework on titleist. Love the look of the 770's in the bag but not so much behind the ball (very small looking head) and although the feel was good, results were just ok and not very forgiving. Mizuno 225 and 223 disappointing, surprisingly didn't like the feel and results similar to p770. So I tried the T100s and Ping Blueprint and wow! Feel on both miles better and forgiveness better too with a higher flight.. and amazingly 5 -8 extra yards of carry with a weaker loft.. couldn't believe it..! Titleist won out as looks amazing behind the ball and more consistent results - and a lot cheaper... So ordered them with 1 degree stronger loft / 1 degree flat. Now I'm home i've researched them and really disappointed the fitter didn't mention the T150s as I'm thinking for my level (around 8 handicap) I should go with the T150s in 5 and 6 irons...!! great review as always Mike :)
Cheers Michael from Canada... T-riffic review! LoL :) I'm 56 yrs young, been a golfer for 42 years, NEVER had a fitting in my life, have O/A in the knees, game has much improved the past 4 years after returning to Callaway. HC down from about 12 to 5.9 to 6.8 consistently despite my physical issues (*possible L-knee replacement in 1-2 years time). My longer irons I have always struggled with, yet, inside 130-140 yds, I'm a pin seeker. My thoughts regarding the T' series is to go 5, 6 & 7 in T350's and 8-A/W in either T150's or T200. What are your feelings about this based on my profile.
Looked real hard at Titleist T200 last year but didn’t like the sound and like almost every RUclipsr didn’t like the plastic back ended up getting Callaway Apex irons. These look much better
As always best review on RUclips!! Cheers Mike. I wish they had made the T200 head style more like the T150, although it’s an improvement on the 21 model, I just think the look of the 100/150 head style is so much nicer… dunno if that would mean they couldn’t fit in the same forgiveness but maybe the 150 is still a bit of a tweener? Is it needed? Shape is great, but one player distance probably enough
I hit the 200 yesterday and it’s so good. The fixed the feel and sound issue from last release. I did a 200 hybrid build 4 and 200 5 iron and 6-P in the 150. I’m excited to get rhem
I agree, I'm not a fan of those "caps" on the back of the 200 and 350. Just show the cavity. I like the look of the t300 more than the t350 as well. But these 150's look awesome. Now if only I was remotely good enough to play those. I'll stick to my t300's.
Play t100s and love them, would likely try a blend of t100 and t150. No reason to change really but as a long time titleist player just love the titleist logo on the back, could even blend with the MBs !
Amazing that with the T200 you are still getting really good height and a super descent angle, so extra length but it will still stop on the green, and as good or better dispersion with the T200, so extra distance but not at the cost of wider dispersion. Simon Cooper of Precision Golf Ltd in Surrey, a master fitter who you no doubt know, got the same kind of results where the stronger lofts did not result in lowering height or the descent angle of the 7 iron to that of a 5 iron which can often happen. So it seems that Titleist is really on to something. By the way, what shafts are you using? Assume TT DG in pro weight and flex. Simon recently fitted a Class 3 player who was using old irons but who had pretty good swing speed, rotation and balance, and strong delivery from playing hockey, with the T200 and TT DG 95 stiff flex shafts and got really amazing results.
Just ordered and got fitted for t200 5 to gw. Did try the srixzon and if felt good but just the titleist looked better at address and overall looks better. Good ball flight and pure sound.
@@andrewrudzinski5653 honestly srizxon felt good too. I almost bought but when with titleist they just looked better down the line also smaller profile and just felt good as well. They are my dream clubs but in the end the feel and looks better club. Each to their own. That's why I went with t200.
Thank you JayTee for your comment. Will think about that. The ball flight and sound are key. So many new people all seemed to like the Srixon Zx5 mark Ii. Had me wondering
@@andrewrudzinski5653 ball flight good on t200 and they felt awsome everyone different will just come down to what looks better and feels better at address. Titleist did for me.
Very good review. I cant quite determine the simulator software you are using....which one please? The angle shot of the fairway is interesting. Great swing BTW
Your left to right dispersion is tighter with the game improvement irons, I assume because they are harder to shape shots with. Maybe that’s a good thing
T200, which I had previously, does look much better, but it’s still that same plastic crap in the back…all they did was make it shiny, put writing on it, and probably filled the gap with some foam to keep it from sounding so clicky…other reviewers are still noting the clickiness, so we’ll see….unfortunately, they made them shiny instead of mat, and the soles are different from the T150 (at least it appears that way) so it’s hard to blend…I had that issue with the last iteration…couldn’t tell any difference in the studio on a mat, but on the real grass it was night and day….should take a page from Srixon and blend them all to look very similar to make blending easier….
I’d like to get the T200. Currently, I average 148 - 152 carry with my P770 7 iron (I am not a long hitter) and I am looking to get closer to 158 -160 carry with the 7 iron. I feel that if I can hit 7 iron from 155-165 out, that would boost my confidence & help me drop about 3-4 strokes. Are the T200 similar in performance to the TM P790 or the Ping i525?
Go figure…I hit the 2021 & 2023 T200 7 ironwith the AMT Black stiff shaft today after work. It wouldn’t carry over 152 yds on the Trackman. I then tried my own 2020 P770 7 iron with the KBS Tour 120g stiff shaft on the Trackman. I was able to get a few good shots at 153-155 yd carry. The T200 has a stronger loft…so why can I hit a weaker lofted club further or the same? Is it the head/shaft combination? Does the KBS shaft fit my swing better? Is the KBS stiff a softer shaft than the AMT shaft?
Thanks Michael for this excellent review. I play off 4 and am in the market for a new set of irons to replace my 2016 TaylorMade p770's. I reckon a blended set of T150 and T200 could be perfect for me. I'm definitely going to test them alongside the new P790. Top review 🎯
Always enjoy watching your club reviews, although your swing speed and skill level is far, far above mine so the data results are not really applicable without some serious subtracting!! But I do also enjoy watching your swing, which is Ernie Els smooth. Any chance you could post a video with views in slow motion and stop motion of your own swing? Have been watching several instructors who stress the movement of the right arm in the swing and the transfer of weight to the left side, and it would be very interesting to see your swing mechanics. It all happens so fast it is hard to observe.
Nice but do not stand out next to the TM p790 and p770 which look more refined and stylish. The hollow body construction means you won't get the buttery feel of the forged titleist better player and mid handicapper irons of yesteryear (dci, 800 series) or the one piece forgings of some competitors. Performance wise there should be progress no doubt but given the weird lofts in the 200s and 350s, a full set custom fitting would be a must. Not sure that is easily available in most countries in Europe.
If you are fit into the t150 why would you split set into t100 in short irons? The t100s and now t150 have speed pocket in 3-7 and no speed pocket in short irons, so they’ve already thought this through for you in advance
Which one goes in the bag for you Mike? Because looking at the data you should be playing T200( 😊best for dispersion and decent distance, but no doubt you would play T100.
definitely not more spin. Those numbers here were outliers. If Michael spins 5000 with his over 90 mph swing speed, an average golfer spins under 4000 which is ridiculously bad. Never seen this bad spin numbers but with the loft difference the 150 will spin more.
@@MichaelNewtonGolf many thanks there’s a fitting coming up soon so I’ll put my name down and see what there’re like. I play with Ping G irons 2016 which are good but love the look of these new titleist clubs, thanks for help!!
Great review! I play T100 from 2020 and really like them. But it feels like with every new line up they make the T100s head smaller and smaller or am I wrong? T150 looks really good although I don’t like the stronger lofts. Hope they’ll release a T150 version with standard lofts 2025 haha.
I had the pleasure of hitting all 4 models and have ordered the T150's but weakened by 2 degrees, as fitted by my top Titleist fitter Andrew, because I found them easier to launch than the T100's.
My grandson was fitted by Titiest T150 this week, fitter told him he struck the ball so well into a head wind no need to consider a combo set, T150 just cut through the head wind, wonderful flight great product you have with these new irons,Titiest irons,Titiest
So pretty much every YT reviewer has swallowed whole the Titleist marketing…when T100S was released (and it’s still on their website), they made it very clear that the club was not just a T100 bent stronger, but that it was engineered for that loft with changes and additions with the tungsten, etc…now, I guess to sell the 150s they need to somehow distinguish it from the T100S (which I think looked better) and say that no no no…unlike the T100S, this one is actually engineered to be stronger lofted…LOL…funny how short some memories are…I am disappointed they made it bigger. I don’t need a bigger headed iron, just a little more help since my swing speed has slowed due to two hip replacements and back arthritis…but, don’t need a bigger head…
Brilliant review and all these new irons look fantastic, how would you compare the T100 with the Cobra King CB in terms of performance and looks, I hit the CBs recently and was blown away by them.
There is no way a 80mph 7-iron player can stop those T200:s or T350:s on the green with those spin numbers. Those irons fly too long and spin too little.
I love the marketing phrases ‘this club is good for someone looking for that control’. Is there anyone that isn’t looking for control? 😆. Not dogging on the uploader, I mean, there’s only so much you can say about a club.
@@MichaelNewtonGolfI just got fitted and ordered t150s. I tried some t200 top end. They felt very different. Not bad, but different. Opted for t150 full set for consistent feel versus combo set But its "feel". So everyone is different.
For me, as a lifetime blades player, it's no question : i would've choose the t100 irons, maybe with a blendend t150/t200 4 iron. But i fear that this Titleist t100 are not by far feeling as good as my japanese forged blades do.....
I *want* to play the T150 but if I was fitted into the T200 (or T350) I wouldn’t buy because of looks alone. It baffles me why Titleist wouldn’t make their hollow bodied irons look premium like P790 or MP225. Missed opportunity.
@@MichaelNewtonGolf Okay, to be fair I haven’t seen it in person yet. However, if I’m buying a players distance iron I don’t want an insert/plastic looking badge on the back.
Just had a fitting and gone with the T150. The T200 sounded awful (I don’t like loud!) Going from Mizuno 221 its a big difference but as a senior golfer I have also gone with the blue tensai shafts (S). Got an extra 15 mph and much more forgiving. definitely not more spin. Those numbers here were outliers. If Michael spins 5000 with his over 90 mph swing speed, an average golfer spins under 4000 which is ridiculously bad. Never seen this bad spin numbers but with the loft difference the 150 will spin more.
i guess you had better strikes with t200 than t350. avg ball speed for t200 is higher than the stronger lofted t350.
would play the T100 but maybe combo it with the 620MB where would you play T100 in that combo?
Probably longer irons
Do you think the T350 are designed for the older higher handicap player
Yes
T200 all day I think.!
I’m a 17 Hcp coming from a 21 this year. Which one would you recommend 200 or 350? Thanks for any advice
Either to be honest. If your a consistent ball striker then T200, if you feel
You need more help especially in the longer irons then T350 will help
@@MichaelNewtonGolf many thanks there’s a fitting coming up soon so I’ll put my name down and see what there’re like. I play with Ping G irons 2016 which are good but love the look of these new titleist clubs, thanks for help!!
That would be the best option, go and try and get fitted, I’m sure you’ll love them! 👍
Try the 150 would be nice
Great review! I play T100 from 2020 and really like them. But it feels like with every new line up they make the T100s head smaller and smaller or am I wrong?
T150 looks really good although I don’t like the stronger lofts. Hope they’ll release a T150 version with standard lofts 2025 haha.
head size the same. 👍
I had the pleasure of hitting all 4 models and have ordered the T150's but weakened by 2 degrees, as fitted by my top Titleist fitter Andrew, because I found them easier to launch than the T100's.
Poppoooö
My grandson was fitted by Titiest T150 this week, fitter told him he struck the ball so well into a head wind no need to consider a combo set, T150 just cut through the head wind, wonderful flight great product you have with these new irons,Titiest irons,Titiest
The extra offset on the T350 was probably messing with your head. I'd blend the 200s and 350s.
Which one of these clubs are comparable with Mizuno 225 irons
Probably the T200
T200
Is the top line of the 150 similar to the old 200?
Hmmm slightly thinner

Brilliant review and all these new irons look fantastic, how would you compare the T100 with the Cobra King CB in terms of performance and looks, I hit the CBs recently and was blown away by them.
Cobra's super impressive on looks and feel, a bit of a dark horse!

There is no way a 80mph 7-iron player can stop those T200:s or T350:s on the green with those spin numbers. Those irons fly too long and spin too little.
what about the spin rates? 7 should be 7000 right?
I’m a lower spin player
I love the marketing phrases ‘this club is good for someone looking for that control’.
Is there anyone that isn’t looking for control? 😆.
Not dogging on the uploader, I mean, there’s only so much you can say about a club.
Great review mate👍.
Thinking of combo set of t200’s 5-8 and t150’s 9-GW. Would you weaken the t200’s a degree to land in line with the t150’s?
yes I would 👍
@@MichaelNewtonGolfI just got fitted and ordered t150s. I tried some t200 top end. They felt very different. Not bad, but different. Opted for t150 full set for consistent feel versus combo set
But its "feel". So everyone is different.
Excellent video Mike Titleist is looking beautiful 😍 150 and 200 are searching my wallet 😂

For me, as a lifetime blades player, it's no question : i would've choose the t100 irons, maybe with a blendend t150/t200 4 iron. But i fear that this Titleist t100 are not by far feeling as good as my japanese forged blades do.....
They feel much better than the second gen T100, which I own. I went 4-P in the T100 and the 4i was easy to hit so didn’t need to blend.
Seems like no diff between older t 100 and new one
I'm an old fart so the 350 is very appealing to me.
As a T300 fan, I'm feeling left out
The T100S aren't just 2 degrees stronger. It has the same muscle channel that the T150's have.
Are you sure? I thought they were identical to the t100 except for loft.
I *want* to play the T150 but if I was fitted into the T200 (or T350) I wouldn’t buy because of looks alone. It baffles me why Titleist wouldn’t make their hollow bodied irons look premium like P790 or MP225. Missed opportunity.
I feel they've improved the looks of T200 and very much matches the quality looks of P790 & 225"s......in my opinion.
@@MichaelNewtonGolf Okay, to be fair I haven’t seen it in person yet. However, if I’m buying a players distance iron I don’t want an insert/plastic looking badge on the back.
@@MichaelNewtonGolf The T200's and T350's look very very sexy in person; remind me of the chrome on a '57 Chevy LoL ;)
Why why why. My loft is always getting stronger. Soon my 5iron will be my 7iron. Are we all dumb..!
meh, seems like only change worth note is to the 200
You’re swinging the T150 at 90…. The T200 at 92. This cancels out distance analysis.
Just had a fitting and gone with the T150. The T200 sounded awful (I don’t like loud!) Going from Mizuno 221 its a big difference but as a senior golfer I have also gone with the blue tensai shafts (S). Got an extra 15 mph and much more forgiving. Looking forward to getting them at the end of the month.
Nice 👍
Buy Mizuno
Which one goes in the bag for you Mike? Because looking at the data you should be playing T200( 😊best for dispersion and decent distance, but no doubt you would play T100.
