I bought the new T200’s (S300 without hitting!) just won the 4Ball club champs tonight! I was previously fit for my old Mizuno’s with a totally different shaft…these are night and day! If you do a bit research I think you’ll know somewhere where you need to be. Fitting is very “on the day” specific if you ask me.🤷🏻♂️
This was a great fitting video and very relatable for me. I also struggle with my players distance irons, swinging my 7i at 95mph, I fly greens on occasion too. Guess it’s time for me to look at forged cavity backs and see if it’s a fit for me as well. Keep up the good work!
What was the final build of your T200 4 iron? This was the best fitting I've seen since watching any of TXG's content. I currently play 2021 T100's and the long irons can be a struggle to get that stopping power so looking for ideas to combo that end of the bag. Great video!
@@GolfmagicPlus I opted to stay t150 through the bag. The t200 are hollow. I really wanted to avoid those random springy shots that magically add 5-10% . With the t150 3 amd 4 iron having a 51 to 54 decent angle, I plan on attacking the pin from over 180 yards.
I play the gen 6 pxg players irons. Very consistent for me (I hit a 7 iron 170 not 215). No fliers. You should prob be in 0317 w pxg or more players irons with any other company.
Great video again! As a 15 HCP im dubious if it's worth changing irons as I got my JPX 921's when I was a 32 HCP. But also think I might be able to justify it.
If you’ve jumped from 32 to 15 it’s definitely worth going for a fitting as it’s likely your swing has changed significantly in that time frame, so you’ll need a tune up.
@@GolfmagicPlus that's my thinking. Plus gives me all winter to get used to them ready for spring. Keep up the good work! Your video on wedge fitting made me get vokeys and now looks like I'll be getting fit for T200 tomorrow haha.
I've gone from a 24hc to a 17 in the last year or so, and I'm thinking of getting a T series fitting. Don't have buy, but I'm interested to see what the difference is vs. my current irons.
@@1averageamerican I got fitted and now have the T200 PW-6 and T350 in 5 iron and U505 3 iron. They are great!!! Less forgiving than my Mizuno JPX but the feel is better.
@@kristian_arnold Which JPX did you have? Was it the Forged or Hot Metal Pro?? I am currently playing the JPX 921 Tour and I'm thinking of going to the T200 to get the benefit of hitting a shorter iron into greens - also for having a better option off the tee on narrow driving holes. With the Tours, my 7 iron carry is about 150-155 on an optimal strike. With the results I was seeing hitting them side by side in the SIM, I expect a full club possibly a little more of additional carry. My ball speeds were up 6-7 mph on a good strike, and even more on off center hits. What did you find?
Distance does not completely mean you’re a good player. I have absolutely ZERO control of my club face (as shown in the data) so although it goes far, it’s never straight!

@@GolfmagicPlus Most of us can swing that hard. I'm 6-3 and 210 lbs and can muscle my 7 out there as far as I need. But If you like your dispersion 3:49, you be you!
@@greatwhite3676 I have, and can. I have a 95mph club speed with a 7 iron. During my fitting on Tuesday, I had one shot with a t150 that was pure. It rolled to 196. Strength, form, and pacing all play their part.
@@dobermanownerforlife3902 Yeah i have too bud. I have hit 360 yards drives too. Thats not my stock shot under normal conditions. I'm a 4.1 index i can play. I swing about 106 with a driver that is not a 300 yard carry every time. I'm sure you hit it far but you missed my point.

Thank you for your comment! It means a lot. Plenty of great videos coming soon.
Duncan was my teammate in college golf! Good buddy and great guy
100%! Top bloke
If you play off 6, you must be putting with a tennis racket.
you're not wrong
😂

Thank you! It was the t200u with x100. So slightly more penetrating ball flight

Correct - this is no hate towards PXG, i absolutely LOVE those irons. Just needed something with less loft.
Your speed is insane! Should make a video on how to gain that club head speed.
I’ve touched on it in the past but it’s actually something we’re planning to do a video series on soon!

Nice video. Did I miss what shaft you got fitted for
X100 in the end
Excellent 🙌🙌👍👍👍
Thanks Jason!
Watching now t100 190yds think you should play blades 👍👍👍👍
it's crossed my mind! Perhaps next year after I manage to consistently hit the sweet spot more.
Are you getting fitted for woods and driver too? That Tsr2+ is an absolute monster
Got fitted for them last year! They're incredible
It’s £500 for a fitting for ordinary Joe soaps at Woburn.
And still went with Apex??
Yessir! Did a comparison of them
@@GolfmagicPlus What was the tipping point?? I'm torn between the two. Did the Apex have as good of turf interaction?
T100 or Blueprint S
215 7iron!!
Jesus you’d be a dangerous 6 if your putter had a decent day
My putter having a decent day is about as likely as Tiger Woods going to LIV golf

Carries a 7 iron nearly 200 and plays off a 6 🤭
5 now actually 🙂
@@GolfmagicPlus But still..............Get on the chipping and putting green
🥱
if you stop swinging out of your shoes, your dispersion will condense. Make your 7 iron your 180-188 club. 89-92mph. Tour avg.
I’m not swinging out my shoes. This is about 90% for me. I’ve tried slowing it down and it ruins my sequencing. This is fine for me!

Dude. You’re not good enough to be swinging that hard. Irons are about consistency and accuracy
It’s crazy how every RUclips golf guy carries a driver over 300 and a 7 iron 200. Yet I never see this on the golf course. Ever.
Long but never straight
