Great and simple advice as everything about putting is meaningless if you’re not aimed at your target. I say that like I’ve known it forever but if I have I sure don’t practice it. Meaning I still manage to buy putters I like the look and feel of that end up being hard to align. I guess my thinking is that I’ll get aligned after I find the putter that I like. Which is exactly why this video is so dead on correct in finding a putter you like AND aim correctly without adjusting your normal set up. Because I know I can line up correctly on a practice green after adjusting. But on the course if it doesn’t come naturally without thinking about it, it’s going to go haywire fast. Which it does often because I don’t follow this advice.
This is all wrong. You fit for length first and then lie. If you’re eyes aren’t over the ball, proper alignment isn’t possible. The player can then try different head shapes and alignment aids to determine which one yields the best results.
My fitting was perfect! Thanks Brendan and HPGI 😊Evnroll 1.2 Tour Blade 34" proved to be the magic wand.
Imagine that, you line up the most expensive putter perfectly every time.😂
Had 3 putter fittings, and got recommended 3 head styles, each one was supposed to be a goodfit..probably the best profit margin for shop...
@@geoffcohen613Or it could be that your setup is borderline and your swing is a mid arc.
@@geoffcohen613sounds like a user error
such a good idea to train the aiming
ok, the alignment factor is super important but i''m also looking for length and lie for my build. any help with that?

My question would be, how much does putter grip size affect stroke ?
Did you guys make your own laser cup or is that aid something you can buy?
How did you get the mirror on the putter face
to be fitted for a putter first step is to get measured for the length of putter. not the price fit
Who fell for this?
Should be Deception Bay

Is it me or does your accent keep changing from aussie to american
It’s like he learned the word putter in the US like a foreign language
Tell me it's a Scotty by not telling me it's a Scotty. Hint the 'big' signage on the left is a clue.
This is genious
LOL!! My 3 year old can align the putter straighter than he did.
What a load of bollocks!! 😂

true and noticed what the recommended putter is
Don’t fall for this garbage. If your putting stroke sucks, a “fitting” and an expensive putter won’t make a bit of difference.
