My son just got fitted into a combo set by Titleist as he had an old set of irons he has outgrown. 5-7 T200 and 8-PW T150. T200 lofts were fitted 1 degree weak to blend with the T150s. Fitted with Nippn modus 3 tour 120 shafts in x-stiff. Great process and the T200 looks a great club.
Cracking review as always. I would have thought T150 would be one of the most selling out the range, proper looking club with proper flights and who doesnt want a little extra help. If you are going T100 then you may end up CB? 150 feels like the sweet spot between players club and the power bat of a T200
I have just picked up a split set. I have gone for PW - 8 Iron in T150 and 7 - 4 iron in T200. I had the lofts of the T200's dropped to match what the T150 is so there was no dramatic drop off between my 7 & 8 irons. Im an 11 handicapper. AMT Red S300, hard step 1. They will take some getting used to after my callaway stealhead XR's that I have had for 7 years. I love the looks and feel of these new clubs
I would be cautious when purchasing the T200 irons as I have owned them from new since August 2023 and the plastic backing (back of the club head) has come off on the 7 iron. Seems to be a problem Titleist are having with them. Also the cheap plastic that they have glued to the back fades dramatically and quickly making them look really worn and cheap within a few months. I'm in the process of returning mine which is unfortunate as they do perform very well.
love the content Mark. Just miss you on the course with Coach. No one expects the past but I love watching you play... for fun or serious or whatever is your whim. Never gonna stop being a PARFIELD guy. If I win the lottery my one thing is playing with you.
Nice review Mark, no longer a short hitter, hitting “the tour iron” 5 iron over 200 yards..💪🏻 All it means for us bargain hunters is that last years model is available for a bargain 2nd hand😂
nice review....love the looks of these irons....I would probably go T200's in the 7-GW irons and T350 in the 5-6 irons....Mark does that sound good ? I am currently using the stealth irons....but the Titleist have me thinkin.....cheers from Vulcan Canada
Yes…please!!! These look awesome. Great video again Mark! I love a good club series review because I know eventually there’s going to be discussion over blending.
Went to a titleist fitting last week for these new irons. I’m a Ap1, 712, t100, t100s user for 10 years plus. All models. Big changes this year except t100 version. More shaft choices with no crazy uplifts across the board. . Second the t150s are not t100s. These are now a different club in my opinion. There is more weighting and the cavity is increased. The t200 is definitely a big refinement on the previous two iterations. I went in thinking t200s and came out of the fitting with t100s/t150 blended set. Fitting data clear to see in over 20 shots with various head and shaft options. I even tried a few really different flex and shaft options. Big up for Stanley the Titleist fitter. Top job.
I currently play MP225 which I like but would like more height and spin. Could I play the T150’s? Love the looks! Don’t have a fitting place anywhere close to me.
Just went in for a fitting, I went in for PING G430, and left with the T-350s they felt great, had the best distance and stopping…I’ve been a long guy through and through but the results for me were enough to change…everyone’s different so go get fitted.
Just got fitted into the T150 4-pw with the kbs tour 130 xs shafts and a t200 2iron with a hzrdus 90g xs. The reason for no 3 iron was gapping and taking the T150 over the T100 was to lower ball flight. Great irons with the t200 being the biggest surprise.
I opted for 3 iron in my t150 fitting. The t200 felt very different to me. I didn't want the difference in club feel, nor the random extra yardage from hollow body. ProjectX 6.5 was my shafts. $taper were the best, they felt so heavy I didn't want to be tired after 12 holes. I'm thinking of bending the 3 iron to 17 degrees and make it a driving iron.
I have the 2019 T300 and won't even consider switching, love the game improvement of them but they aren't so big chunky and offset that I hate them and they play fantastic!
Hey Dan. Trying to decide between going with the t300 and saving some money or getting the new t350. Do you think the new t350 is worth the extra money?
@@BuffaloBarber24 this is just my personal opinion, that and a buck fifty will get you a cup of coffee, however, I haven't personally hit the new T350 but I have held it in my hands. From the research I've done online the differences in performance for someone of my level (I'm an 8 handicap) wouldn't be significant enough for me to upgrade from my current T300's. The new T350's a dead sexy, beautiful looking iron, but sexy doesn't make you hit it any better. I never purchase new current year irons, I always get one or two year old new irons because I get a better bang for my buck, as they say. Long story short, I'd go with the T300's as they are great irons and they'll be a lot more inexpensive to buy.
Really interesting review. Shame you didn't get up to the green and show us where those four 5i shots ended up to demonstrate how much farther the 350 was.
I got fitted on the T350 and ordered them in October last year. But to be honest, I'm so disappointed. In-between the hole set is replaced once, because that plastic plate on the back felt out on three different irons. Now I have got the new ones for about 5 weeks and it's just the same again. So annoying to spend so much money and then something like that happens TWO TIMES!!!
Totally disagree with 150s being not needed. Theyre perfect for us 6-10 hcp that love the T100 in short irons but need a little extra help in the mid-longer irons.
How does the t400 compare to the t350. Is t400 going to be discontinued? I feel t400 we will get more 20 yards than the t350 I haven’t tried but my gut says If t400 will remain I don’t know why release 350
The T150 replaces the T100S, all of them look better, cleaner, in the back. I believe Titleist offers financing now...LOf'nL!! I feel like I'm from the stoneage, all jazzed and smiles hitting a mixed sort of DCI blacks, a 755 9 iron, and other prehistoric clubs!
You could ask every maker the same question. Maybe it's worth upgrading every fifth generation but the newest and shiniest are often not significantly better than the previous model.
I had the t100 and had to get rid because they asked a little too much (progressive bad back) I loved them but just wanted just a little more help but the t200 didn’t really suit my eye etc. so I moved to Taylormade 7mc which are more forgiving (the shafts kbs tour as opposed to modus tour in titleist) May have something to do with the forgiveness better height etc. so the t150 did pique my interest but you didn’t really say if they was any more forgiving than the t100? Just stronger lofted? Id love to know if they are more forgiving and a comparison between the 7mc and the t150 cheers Mark
These seem fun with the classic looks. Titleist does their marketing on ‘faster’ like others, but I appreciate that they do not take it to the ridiculous levels of AI-microsphere-speedfoam hit your 7 iron 250 sort of stuff that just turns me off. The more subtle approach portrays, at least to me, that they want people to think more of consistency and reliability.
I love the T150 but not digging, no pun intended, that Titleist got rid of the pre-worn leading edge from the 2019 line. Perhaps I could have the T150 bent 2 degrees weak for extra bounce.
Hi Mark, in this video (ruclips.net/video/ThrNrKk_pHs/видео.html) you were quite critical of the look of the T200s especially with the plug in the back. You quite confidently said the next T200s won’t have one. How do you feel about the new T200s now in comparison given that they still have some sort of plug in the back too?
If T200 and T350 are hollow body construction why, in the name of all that is holy, do they insist on gluing a plastic badge to the back of it?? Do they just look at P790 and MP225 and think “nah, we don’t need to be as beautiful as that”. Bizarre decision.
