can you do an episode on the enmeshment with the "dead mother" , a mother that wasn't there and created the black hole as object relation and formed her son (or daughter) to attach to this "black hole"? It seems that there's a different form of enmeshment. Or is it a completely different situation?

"Mother might let you sing, but she won't let you fly".....Pink Floyd..."Mother". As a young woman I coped with mama's boys by leaving fast. They don't treat women very well.

They worship their Mothers and trample all other women. Sometimes they put their daughters, sisters, grandma's on a pedestal too. But they stomp on the women they have s3xual and romantic relationships with. Sick. Twisted. Evil. Cruel. Sadistic.

See this in our marriage with my husband's family. But also now looks like we have repeated some of the crap with our kids. What does a healthy relationship between adults and parents look like? What does a healthy teen/parent relationship look like? What does a deep family relationship look like?

I would like to point out that when the “Emesher parent” is a manipulative narcissist, he or she is fully cognisant of their actions.
They probably don’t intentionally want to “harm” their child, the focus there though is themselves, the child or children are only tools in their delusional self-aggrandisement

My relationship has never been worse than it is now that my mother in law has moved in. I have become the bad guy
