I dunno how to be a socially isolated introvert in countries with high quality of life, but in my country you have to answer the phone, go to work and communicate with people in order to make some money on living, no matter how introverted you are
they seems frivolous maybe cause you care less about the environment or maybe the person is nervous of the quietness and is try to offer anything for conversation to break the ice
The funny thing about Introverts is once they feel comfortable with you, they can be the funniest , most enjoyable people to be around. It's like a secret they feel comfortable sharing with you . Except the secret is their personality.❤️
Very true and my beloved late brother is like that. He was very introverted and shy but once you become close to his, he is the sweetest and funniest guy around.
Hooray, I just found out that I'm an introvert. I am so happy to learn that I'm not stupid 😄 I kind of thought so but was never sure. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. My dad always told me keep my mouth shut and let everyone think I was stupid, better than opening my mouth and removing all doubt. He was such a encouragement to me and my brother ☹️. Now at 76 I know I'm quite bright, have a good mind and think and learn well. I started painting 6 years ago and I am absolutely in love with it. Have many interests and few friends. Ahh, and my husband and I have been married 56 years and we still love each other. Thanks for the opportunity to share, I don't do it often especially to this degree.🤗
THANK GOD I'M AN INTROVERT! The biggest advantage of being an introvert is that we do not rely on other people for our happiness. In today's busy and impersonal world, people are nothing more than short-term, self-serving acquaintances looking for advantages from others rather than real freindship. This proves itself time and time again whether it's the workplace, schools, neighbors and sadly, even in church. Remember ... you will always learn more about people and life by using your eyes and ears rather than your mouth!
Welcome to the comment section of introverted thoughts. Here, you can read the mind of an introvert. Learn the mentality of an introvert. See what it's like to be an introvert.....
Another thing you forgot to mention is that introverts make amazing parents. As a introvert i have absolutely no shame in apologizing to my child for any wrong thing i did and trying to make it better for them. I am willing to listen to them without being judgy and help them trough their stuff as best i can and i show them unconditional love because with years of introversion has given me a open mind and shown me what truly matters in life.
Sato also because it's rare. With the extrovert people are use to them talking. Like a food you eat everyday. Your use to it. But if you only have it 1 time a week you value it and look forward to it
Looks at Asia and much of the west today seeing how most of the existing cultures are of face with China and Japan as well the US (different but same) being the obvious examples.
Even worse when you have to anticipate the course of the conversation so that you can get appropriate responses ready, only to find that everything goes in an entirely different direction. Then try to improvise when none of your answers match... 😬
I stutter too at times, especially when too many eyes are upon me, I want the attraction (me) to disappoint them, and quickly too not wanting their return.... It's been proven that stuttering is a sign of intelligence too!
I'm definitely introverted but i noticed that i get a lot of energy from spending time with fun people but also love being by myself sometimes. I guess we're on a spectrum instead of just one side.
Extroverted introvert. I start conversations laugh and talk with people I meet everyday but try to pin me down for lunch or call me out of the blue or get too close and you will experience the most introverted person you’ve ever met in life. Lol
I absolutely can’t stand dry, superficial, meaningless conversations. Love and Hip Hop is a prime example. If it’s junk food, I immediately reject it. I have problems dating women, because most women seek to be the center of attention, there’s nothing interesting within their conversations, relationships lack intimacy, and basically there’s nothing attractive beyond physical dexterity. I have hardly any friends, because I refuse to settle for mediocrity. I refuse to live a life of ordinary means. I refuse to be a sheep, or carbon copied blueprint of whatever the latest trends/fads/word in the streets are. I refuse to conform. I’ve never preferred boring places like the club, strip clubs, wild parties, etc. That’s just for starters
Brian Stallings I hear ya. The majority of women are Westernized. But don't give up hope. Keep being you. In time things will find a way. I'm not big on loud, attention seeking women with fake eyelashes. I like a real , humble , natural women. There's this cute girl who lives near me who walks her dog alone but she seems VERY different then most women. She's sweet, never have I seen her on her phone . I have chatted a few times. I think she has a bf which is cool.. But she saw me the other day and was just staring smiling at me..I'm on the right path. You attract how you act
Being an introvert isnt as kool as you make it out to be. It can be very hard being an introvert in a society that prizes extroverts. You feel like an outcast many times, and being a pessimistic person it really is depressing. Especially when it comes to making money, because its not what you know, its who you know. In this society, popularity is more valuable than skill or knowledge. Social currency thats what they call it, and introverts are very poor in it. I know many people who were unqualified for a job position and got it anyways solely based on who they knew or popularity, while the hundreds of job applicants who were highly qualified for the position got passed up; same goes for promotions.
I know right Ive been down that street too they always say that you're overqualified or underqualified but the Extroverts can get the job all day long and DONT KNOW SHIT......But the one that actually knows the job gets thrown to the dogs
I had not realized how much our sense of self is affected as a minority class until I understood myself to have been born this way. And I am enjoying an ever expanding sense of self since then.
I remember on several different occasions discovering that I had a nick name that no one let me on to. In my field of employment there exists a true meritocracy the owners really liked me cause I was a cash cow. That allowed me to aquire my last ten years of employment, when finding any job for most machinists in California was very difficult. As you said it is who you know and few of the owners I had worked for had forgotten me.
The internet is wonderful for sharing things like this. Young people don't have to feel awkward nowadays, if they are more introverted, more sensitive or if they are different in other ways.
knowing this is really helpful cos so many people out there are introverts, getting judged and misunderstood by extroverts, thinking something must be wrong with them ....but nothing is wrong with us , we don't just understand ourselves
I'm quite introverted, yet I volunteered to stand before over 100 people and talk about a certain subject. It only took 2 people to support me through it and I had (and still haven't) done anything like it before. But, being my introverted self with these 8 strengths, I thought over what I had to say and observed others and delivered what I wanted extremely well. STILL introverted though!!
I'm the quiet introvert in the class that everyone thinks is a massive nerd but then when PE came I excelled over most the boys in physical activity , their reactions were quite amazing.
Internet era opens new opp for introverts. I made a good (remote service) account manager in digital marketing agency...and also managed to have blog with decent traffic
I'm an introvert and I'm a push over, I just cannot fight back like extroverts and I be too nice and quiet and get screwed in the end. That's the only thing I hate about being an introvert, otherwise I'm proud
BLACK MAGE You’ll be alright fam! You can be introverted and self confident and grounded. I’ve always been very introverted and have had phases of being a push over. Find comfort in silence and stand you ground. It never matters what you say but how you say it.

I don’t know why but I cried when you said that the stoics considered independence strength because I have always thought my shyness was pathetic and have strived to be emotionally strong so when I saw that to enjoy your own company is strength It kind of solidified that I got to the point where I wanted to be without me realizing it.
Hi Tony, I have my extroverted qualities too. But what I do is writing a script first and then read it from the script. I don't think I could do it just from the heart. Anyways, thanks for the kind words!
Intoverts energise when reflecting and spend that energy on social interactions. Its the reverse for extroverts. We all have a bit of both but we lean to a specific one differently.
I LOVE being an introvert. It's who I am. I have an extroverted best friend and she tried changing me and it did not work. I love who I am. I love that I dont need others to charge my energy. I am very loyal and true friend. I'm also an empath. My strength come from within
Up to 2yrs ago I'd have said I'm an extrovert(faking it), lazy (always tired unless alone), too sensitive (HSP) & crazy (HSP Empath!!) It's great to finally know there are others like me & we're okay! 😍🌎
I am 100% an introvert, and am comfortable with it. I was pleasantly surprised with #8. I have found myself in that exact situation a few times. It is scary and empowering at the same time. At those times the silence from the others around you is deafening, but knowing you are being heard is an amazing feeling.
I'm extroverted, but I despise small talk with a passion! I crave social interactions with meaningful people and, being honest, sometimes I get perceived as an introvert or shy because of that. Kinda sucks 😐 For the mbti people: I'm ENTP
Thank you for posting this unpopular and unconventional view of being an introvert - of whom I count myself a member. This confirms much of what I already felt intuitively but never articulated. Quite heartening!
1) Deep thinking. It is an opportunity to determine a life that suits them. An introverts life is great for planning life step by step. The negative side is overthinking. 3) Creativity in expressing yourself. Coping mechanism of not wanting to be the centre of attention is.. Introverts creativity is partly born out of the avoidance. 4) Observant. 5) Eye for detail. Some people find it annoying but it is a strength. 6) Deep relationships. Introverts are deep listeners. 7) Autonomy and independence. Companionshipvcan be a great value in life but you are not a slave to it. 8) Great leadership. Speeches are deeply thought of
I wonder if someone has already conducted a study that shows whether high IQ and introverted nature are somehow related? I've always thought the positive qualities of being an introvert are also related to me scoring a 124 on my IQ test back in my 20's. I'm also an INTJ based the Briggs personality assessment scale.
I’m not sure whether there are studies or not, but it definitely correlates. INF(J-P) and INT(J-P) are usually smarter than average followed by the ENT (J-P) types
I'm definitely an introvert and I most definitely do not consider myself with higher than average intelligence. I personally don't think introvert means you're higher in intelligence than an extrovert. Your desire for social interaction is just different, but not intelligence. I used to think I was pretty smart but then I lived, witnessed others, and realized I'm nothing special, for sure

I have been an introvert since I was around 4 or 5 years old. I can't stand small talk. Just get to the point. I'm quiet and think all the time. I'm proud to be a introverted nerd. Love who you are. It's you that's enough. 😀💛❤️💙💚💜

When I was young ,I always thought i was an extrovert. But when I grew old I found myself I like to be alone and reading books or listening to music . I always avoid small useless conversations and kept my mouth shut when people come to argue with me . I thought arguing with them is very tired . My mom always thought that i'm quite different and always asked if i'm okay!!. She always tried to connect me with society , but i always felt like it was very useless to connect with society . I have trust in myself and i know that i can do many things without others .I find peace when i'm alone and i know the worth of my life. I'm so proud and happy about me being an introvert. It is my strength and I enjoy my life really well.💪 be yourself and ignore other's negative words.sorry for my English.

A advantage for me is that when something happenes in class i dont get suspected like someone breaks a chair or table they wont even consider me as the culprit. Another is that when most of the class gets in trouble while in a line outside the class room ill always be one of the people that gets to go into the class room without getting in trouble.
Am an introvert yes but I have never had long lasting relationships my relationships ends from 2 weeks. The longest i have managed is 1 month, I was even keeping track of days 😂😂that was a huge achievement for me. My roommates think it's weird but I easily get turned off really quickly like you are a guy and you say thinks that doesn't seem realistic I just get bored. Well not necessarily all things but some things men say are really a turn off. So lately I just decided let me just concentrate on building myself, achieve some goals, learn some foreign languages. The rest will fall into place at the right time
Being introvert is a gift, we just need to accept us. This wourld is loud, even it seem nobody listen. But on the other hand, introverts will give you a deep connection and they always listen to.

I loathe chit chat, always thght I was "wrong" in avoiding small talk lol
People really do like to ramble on and on about nothing!
I simply don't know what to say in such cases. Weather... Talks about the weather... A U F*CKING KIDDING ME, WHO CARES ABOUT THE F*CKING WEATHER! EVERYBODY KNOWS WHAT F*CKING WEATHER IS IN THE MOMENT! But I think that such bullshit was invented by introverts in order to somehow communicate with extraverts.
I dunno how to be a socially isolated introvert in countries with high quality of life, but in my country you have to answer the phone, go to work and communicate with people in order to make some money on living, no matter how introverted you are
it annoys me
they seems frivolous maybe cause you care less about the environment or maybe the person is nervous of the quietness and is try to offer anything for conversation to break the ice
Those people become your comfort zone
As a fellow introvert, thank you very much, very encouraging in a world that we can feel marginalised from, Peace.
I 💓 being an introvert 💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
Yeeeee
Yep!
Bruh why so many hearts XD
Congratulations on your marriage of many years! That's so wonderful!
I feel so good being appreciated this way
Thank you ✨
THANK GOD I'M AN INTROVERT!
AMEN!
Welcome to the comment section of introverted thoughts. Here, you can read the mind of an introvert. Learn the mentality of an introvert. See what it's like to be an introvert.....
Quite fulfilling to know what like minded individuals think.
I really really hate small talk..I love very much real deep conversation and authenticity.
Me too
I´m introvert too. The point about overthinking very true👍 I can be hard to find the balance at times.
Great informative video
Even with deep thinking we end up taking wrong decisions it's a mess actually
I didn't like listening in school but I did much thinking ie. daydreaming.
Sounds strikingly familiar.
people drain my energy.
True AF
True
I super agree with you🤝
Yes - and their meaningless questions, interruptions, etc.
Me too
Some people never shut up they talk with no one listening!!!
You mean the commenters?
Now i know...
So thats why my classmates look at me whenever i speak
Sato also because it's rare. With the extrovert people are use to them talking. Like a food you eat everyday. Your use to it. But if you only have it 1 time a week you value it and look forward to it
Sato Yeah I know how you feel bro, I’ve been there before
thank you so much for saying this
same haha all of them r looking at me
Your channel is going to get *very* popular soon. Take my word.
Thank you Spiralflux. I hope so :p
Your word ain't popular🎨
I've found most extroverts to be very "face value". What you see is what you get, and that's usually not much.
Looks at Asia and much of the west today seeing how most of the existing cultures are of face with China and Japan as well the US (different but same) being the obvious examples.
If your cunning you could alternate between both!
Or TOO much.
"oh my"....😂 😑
More like 8 weaknesses of extroverts am I right
*weeps in loneliness*
Nahh.. not true. Love them extroverts!
But, but, but, their "charisma", charm, excitement; isn't that what really matters?
👍
im an introvert the word lonely can applied to me only when im in the mountain fearing for my life honestly
Aww..someone lacks attention
When I speak up, people listen to me for one second, then ignore me because I can't speak without stumbling over words.
Same here. It is so frustrating to me that for the most part I almost dislike to speak!
Yep but we listen to all of their bullshit
Even worse when you have to anticipate the course of the conversation so that you can get appropriate responses ready, only to find that everything goes in an entirely different direction. Then try to improvise when none of your answers match... 😬
I stutter too at times, especially when too many eyes are upon me, I want the attraction (me) to disappoint them, and quickly too not wanting their return.... It's been proven that stuttering is a sign of intelligence too!
Over thinking? rather an analytical mind, seeing the comparisons regarding information, the study of information.
most definitely agree!
"an anaytical mind...' rather' " 😉😄
I'm definitely introverted but i noticed that i get a lot of energy from spending time with fun people but also love being by myself sometimes. I guess we're on a spectrum instead of just one side.
Extroverted introvert. I start conversations laugh and talk with people I meet everyday but try to pin me down for lunch or call me out of the blue or get too close and you will experience the most introverted person you’ve ever met in life. Lol
Same.
You have a good foundation of a MGTOW. Avoiding the "fixed games" that society presents nowadays.
I love junk food, a pure right to straight happiness bliss!
who are introverts here like me ?
Me!!
Joy Siohoa Never give op, there will be a day, you will feel good forever. ;)

Introverts are seen as weirdos. Happy to be one. *grins* Misfits, outcasts....all because we Stand on our own without props.

Very true. When applying for positions it is hard to even get references from connected extroverted people because introverts are so disconnected.
Actually i benefited from being an introverted person the people at my job all gets in trouble because there always stoping to talk
As a fellow introvert, I feel so peaceful and relaxed after knowing about these aspects🌸
Thank youu ✨
The internet is wonderful for sharing things like this. Young people don't have to feel awkward nowadays, if they are more introverted, more sensitive or if they are different in other ways.
I realized years ago I did not need the approval or acceptance of others in order to validate me or give me worth.
knowing this is really helpful cos so many people out there are introverts, getting judged and misunderstood by extroverts, thinking something must be wrong with them ....but nothing is wrong with us , we don't just understand ourselves
I made a good (remote service) account manager in digital marketing agency...and also managed to have blog with decent traffic
ilive2929 could tell me other remote jobs that I could master and earn money from home
YES EXTREME THINKERS.
AND OBSERVERS.......EVERYTHING IS TRUE!! 🤘📖
Being introverted and able to entertain yourself, can sometimes make you feel a little crazy.
The la la land i can go too for so long is alarming.
People say teamwork is the best way to success. But i as an introvert i always felt i was finding it faster with my own solo effort
Damn.
introverts sound like boss in every damn situation....and we should talk to them with utmost care
An extrovert
Aryan Sharma couldn’t agree more
Bed english bro
Shouldn't we introverts be bosses rather than extroverts?

I'm an introvert and I'm a push over, I just cannot fight back like extroverts and I be too nice and quiet and get screwed in the end. That's the only thing I hate about being an introvert, otherwise I'm proud
BLACK MAGE You’ll be alright fam! You can be introverted and self confident and grounded. I’ve always been very introverted and have had phases of being a push over. Find comfort in silence and stand you ground. It never matters what you say but how you say it.
Sometimes i go shopping alone and my extrovert friend said that it's weird. Little did she know it's more peaceful for people like me.
I shop alone also. I can think better so I can try to make the best purchasing decisions I can in my life.
Shopping alone is weird? Always needing someone to shop with is weird
Everything in this video describes me really well and for some reason I'm so touched by this it made me tear up. And it also motivated me. Thank you so much.
when i was young i thought something is wrong with me . i just don’t like to spend so much time hanging out but now that i knew i feel much better ! A True Introvert indeed !!
I loved the ending lol. Yeah we bring the discipline in the extroverts' chaotic life.
I don’t know why but I cried when you said that the stoics considered independence strength because I have always thought my shyness was pathetic and have strived to be emotionally strong so when I saw that to enjoy your own company is strength It kind of solidified that I got to the point where I wanted to be without me realizing it.
You seem like an extrovert to me. Talking and making all these great videos!
I'm a true introvert, no way can I talk so much and make videos.
Hi Tony, I have my extroverted qualities too. But what I do is writing a script first and then read it from the script. I don't think I could do it just from the heart. Anyways, thanks for the kind words!
Wow...that was interesting. Who said introverts couldn't communicate,🤔
@@puddincup9879 The point is, we need a reason to talk. If there's nothing to say, why say anything to begin with?
Intoverts energise when reflecting and spend that energy on social interactions. Its the reverse for extroverts. We all have a bit of both but we lean to a specific one differently.
YES INTROVERTS!!!!!!!! WE ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!💖
Intoverts are strong at imaginative acts. Proud to be an introvert.
Biggest pro: being able to survive self quarantine and see it as a vacation. Lol.
Kinda sucks 😐
For the mbti people: I'm ENTP
INTP here , hello
"Kinda sucks", introverts and shy people don't think so... I hope... I don't... maybe...
Thank you for posting this unpopular and unconventional view of being an introvert - of whom I count myself a member. This confirms much of what I already felt intuitively but never articulated. Quite heartening!
I’m happy to be introvert
Matrix Rebel not necessary a higher IQ, but often more knowledgeable
I'm definitely an introvert and I most definitely do not consider myself with higher than average intelligence. I personally don't think introvert means you're higher in intelligence than an extrovert. Your desire for social interaction is just different, but not intelligence. I used to think I was pretty smart but then I lived, witnessed others, and realized I'm nothing special, for sure
My wife is an introvert we have been married for 12 years and I'm just completely over it, but I want to stay married because I love her so thanks for videos like this.
I really like your videos. Great content and execution. One thing I have noticed is that much of it is based on your experience alone. I think it would bring your content to a new level to include info from studies or surveys to corroborate your points. Just a suggestion. keep up the good work!
Thank you Simon. The upcoming video is more researched and not about myself ;)
I have been an introvert since I was around 4 or 5 years old. I can't stand small talk. Just get to the point. I'm quiet and think all the time. I'm proud to be a introverted nerd. Love who you are. It's you that's enough. 😀💛❤️💙💚💜
Every one of these except the 8th one (leadership) are true for me, i hate being the one in command i dont feel i like i have the strength to lead other people, and i cant handle the responsibility of a leader, im scared im going to do something wrong, and be the one to be blamed at. leadership isn't really in my blood
Extrovert : why are you so quiet?
Introvert : do you want me to go to random people and ask why are they so loud?
Great comment there!!!
Imma use this lol

I'm introvert and I'm proud of it... And I don't hesitate to admit it that I think too much or I spend my time alone instead of anyone... I gain energy when I spend my time alone and I'm happy 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💞
everyone I have cut out of my life tended to be an extravert, I cant be bothered with them, waste of my time and we are only here for a short time in this existence to be dealing with nonsense.
Well I mean extroverts are just really outgoing friendly people. I know tons of extroverts and they are cool. I just can't handle them cuz I'm an introvert but they are good people

I’m an introvert that still gets lonely
It means that you don't have people who understand you....

Nice video, bit It‘s not good to identify too much with one‘s personality traits. Don‘t limit yourself like that!
Actually, I do agree on that..
Its either this or that with us introverts. And once we pick a side, we work hard to learn, search over and over for the purpose, until we find it, then we know there's improvement and growth
Thanks, but I actually like my time alone but sometimes I do think about I want a guy doe to accept me for who I am but I don’t need it.❤️❤️ but thank u for this video🙏
Aaliyah Edwards in good time. Keep being authentic
