30 Minute Giant Set Legs Workout

    Today I am 39 weeks pregnant and I'm so thankful to be able to rock this workout with you!
    Today's workout is a legs workout where we will work through 8 exercises to target our lower body strength in a giant set meaning we will complete all 8 exercises one after the other in three big rounds! This workout was so much fun and I can't wait to see you pushing yourself through this one with me! Our work periods will be 45 seconds of work and 15 seconds rest so be ready to push hard in those no repeat work periods!
    I used anywhere from my 10 pound dumbbells up to my 30 pound dumbbells for this workout.
    I used my bench for split squats and step ups so grab yours if you have them!

    1. Front Squat
    2. Reverse Lunges
    3. Step Ups
    4. Split Squats Left
    5. Split Squats Right
    6. Sumo Squat Pulses
    7. Band squat walks Lateral
    8. Heels Elevated Squat pulses or calf raise squats

      Sydney I finished this workout. Progressive overload was on my mind and I upped the challenge each set. This was hard but I was amazed as to how much stronger I have become. Thanks Sydney for the motivating words and these awesome workouts. Absolutely fascinating to see the input and the outcome!!!!

      Gotta say leg days are the hardest for me. I ALMOST quit after the second round but told myself if I don't finish I'll be disappointed and I atleast gotta try! Finished it! Feel so much better and proud of myself. Thanks man 😊

    The sweat is everywhere 🥵💦! Thank you for pushing us past our limits, Sydney. I crushed split squats with 35 lb. dumbbells for the first time 🥰!! Tried and failed using 40s for front squats but I’m feeling so much more confident that even THAT will one day be my “comfort” weight. We’re so grateful for you, Sydney 🫶🏼!!

    This might be my favorite leg workout of Sydney's of ALL TIME. Loved the format even though mentally halfway through the second round I was like how am I going to do the third round?! But I did it and I have Sydney to thank for motivating me through to the very last second. How grateful should we all be to have Sydney in our world?!

    Sydney's Daily Wisdom (32:02): "It's all about perspective. The way you think about everything is the way you tend to show up and perceive it and attack it." Changing my perspective from "this is hard" to "this is benefiting me" helps me enjoy the journey even more!

    The MAGIC SAUCE of Sydney is that she truly gets in your head! I was sure I didn't have the strength to go heavier in the third set, but I heard her say in my head, "Go heavier! You can always go down if you need to..." So I went heavier in every exercise and didn't have to go down once! And that's why I'm so much stronger almost 2 years after beginning Syd's workouts! I'm a fan for life!!

    Holy moly! I am so so sweaty! This was one of the hardest leg workouts I have ever done! What makes me most proud is the fact that when I started doing split squats with Sydney, I couldn't even do them, let alone with dumbbells! Today, I did them with 20 lbs dumbbells! Thanks Syd!!

    I’m going to be honest, I came into this workout thinking it was going to be the same leg workout as a few days ago, with the same moves. I thought I was going to be bored. I’m happy to say I was wrong. Very wrong. Sydney has a way of mixing it up so we’re never bored and always challenged. Thank you, Sydney!     Crushed this workout. Increased my weights at every round and even was able to front rack and squat two 25’s and for the whole round.     Feeling really excited and proud today! I remember just a year or so ago not being able to do split squats at all. Today, I was able to do them and go up in weights every round!     3 rounds of split squats was giving me all the burns! 🔥 Super strong leg day! I reall like giant sets! Those muscles really get a great workout, and since you know the moves, it's easier to work on form and overload. Thank you for another great one!

    Told myself I would never do this again: Two of Sydney's strength leg workouts in a row, back to back, and here I am doing it again. Just finished day 53 of STF 3.0 which was 45 min. of leg strength, then added this one on!! OMG, legs are totally spent. Considered just doing one round of the 8 exercises, but then found myself pushing it the the end, and crushed it!! Now for some protein!!

    Wheww! That was a good one! I am so impressed by you, Sydney!! I am 17 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I wasn't able to work out at all until 13 weeks because I was so sick all the time! So happy to be back and crushing it with you (trying to, anyway 😅)

    Well I am a sweaty mess!
    First two rounds did with 20 lbs dumbbells and in the last upped it to 25's. Felt great!

    Another challenging workout. Giant sets no joke at all. Sweat dripping legs shaking but a sense of accomplishment at the end. The 20 minute stretch felt divine.

    Thanks to Sydney’s short on split squats, I finally felt like I conquered them today! To know I wasn’t hinging at the hip has made this easier! Still challenged by my balance, but I didn’t struggle nearly as much!

    I started this workout and only got half way and I am not ashame to say it I cried because I could not finished , I suffer with multiple sclerosis and I push myself to stay health and strong but sometimes I get into my own head but I will come back to this workout and I will get it done 🙏❤️🙏
