Never had I even thought about yoga until recently as I an unable to walk outside, where I currently live, due to allergens in the air. I chose yoga to begin my journey of muscle strength, toning and weight loss. I do notice the different in my flexibility, strength, mindset and clothing size. All these years of former weight loss was actually loss of muscle. Thank you for having a variety of yoga levels. I can feel the difference and see it as well.

I'm new to this channel, but have been practising yoga, daily & faithfully, for 2 years now. Although I have a toddler, I find time for my yoga practise, twice a day, every day. That's how important it is to my overall well being. He will actually try to do it with me. His 3 legged down dog is adorable, & every time i do a bridge pose he literally thinks that I'm a bridge & crawls under me 😄 That being said, it is detrimental that I do a relaxing/restorative flow every night as well. I suffer from insomnia , & have been dealing with it for 4 years now. It is an added side effect of PTSD (like that's not bad enough on its own). Just a brief background; 5 weeks & 2 days after giving birth to my 2nd little boy, at 31 years of age, I suddenly went into cardiac arrest. I'll spare you the details, but I was diagnosed with 2 rare heart conditions. 1) an anomalous right coronary artery & 2) LQTS, AKA Long QT Syndrome. About a year later, on my sons 1st birthday no less, I have several episodes of Ventricular Tachycardia. And as a result received a shock treatment from my ICD (a surgically implanted defibrillator that was put in when I was hospitalized for the cardiac arrest) during every episode. Then a month after that, I had open heart surgery to repair the coronary artery. Surgery was a success. However, unfortunately, there is no cure for LQTS. MY pacer/defibrillator, or ICD, is my lifeline should it happen a 3rd time. Any way, it was the trauma of all of this that led me on a path to living a healthier life. And led me to yoga. Eventually I discovered that doing a relaxing/restorative yoga routine at night, followed by listening to meditative music, or a guided meditation for sleep, does help with the insomnia. I have become committed to it, & cannot lay down without doing this routine every night. Therefore, I'm always on the look out for yoga geared to sleep, stress relief or relaxation. This is absolutely one of those! I nearly fell asleep more than once throughout this video! I find that the practise, along with Sarah Beth's soothing voice to guide you through & the soft music in the background are the perfect recipe to relax me into bed. I would go so far as to say you could do this practise in bed as well. I highly recommend Sarah Beth's bedtime videos as well to anyone who may also suffer from insomnia. To Sarah Beth, THANK YOU! For taking the time out to make & post these videos! And for sharing your gift with all of us. It is truly a blessing to have your yoga channel at my fingertips to help guide & aid me in this beautiful journey. My sincerest gratitude 🙏

I cannot thank you enough for this. I have the bad habit of listening to youtube videos nd music all day and it doesnt allow my thoughts to process. So at the beginning of this i could feel my eyes moving rapidly even when closed as ran through a million thoughts at once, and throughout the course of the video i could feel it gradually slow down until the silent meditation at the end, where I was able to clear my head and focus solely on some affirmations (my mind wandered a little at the end but it was such a huge improvement). Honestly i can do this in my bed in the mornings - and i just might start doing it ❤❤❤❤❤

Start with the chair yoga videos and slowly add more weight to your knee as you're ready. Also the foot yoga videos could be extra helpful in your knee recovery
