Back in the day, when I was a flight attendant I used to make fabric paperback book covers that had handles and a built-in bookmark. They were sold in beauty shops, and I sold a lot of them. I would pack up my Singer Featherweight, take it with me on a trip, and do the sewing on layovers.
I don't understand why you would hate making the face masks, (but you don't seem to hate making anything else.) They look like very well-designed masks and would really help a lot during these very trying times. They have a great style. I bet health professionals would love them.
Thanks for sharing what you make.

Thanks Jay tea. I enjoyed the actual sewing of masks, but hated having to make them to sell as I felt like I was exploiting the needs of people. At the time, they were a lifesaver when all our businesses had to close during shut down, and the only income I had was the sale of masks 🙂

Thank you Christine. This helps tremendously. I am currently making some stock to sell at the markets in the fall and winter and this type of video really helps motivate me🥰.

I like that you take the time to ask why somebody bought what they did when you mentioned the lady liking the label.

Thanks After The Storm. I find that I get the best feedback on my products by asking my customers when they talk to me about them. Viewers here have also been amazing in their advice in all forms, and it helps me improve what I do 😀

I stumbled upon your channel and I absolutely love it, thank you for sharing. I learned to sew from watching my grandmother in the Island of Jamaica, I live in the US now and I do a little bit of sewing but I've been ready to do a little bit more so I can resell and make a little money. Thank you for inspiring me to push forward.

Christine, I love to see what you make and SO enjoy hearing about how well you are selling and at what cost you sell for. My reason for saying that is because all of us crafter's of what we enjoy doing find sometimes that we do want our products to sell but find that we under sell just for that sale. Makes are worth seem pathetic and or desperate. I have a room FILLED with fabrics and after watching so many different videos here on RUclips I have purchased some needed items to be able to make some different bags using what fabrics I have on hand. My issue is wanting a personalized label and weighing out either having them made or buying the fabric and making them myself, I don't know. I love the doggie poop bags idea for there are so many pet lovers out there walking their furry ones around and the bags are so nice. Thank you for the videos and keep them coming. :)

Thanks Nicki. I tried making my own labels, but found it tedious and time consuming. When I decided to purchase them, I ordered a very small amount in case it was going to fail. I couldn't believe the difference it made to my sales, and the time I saved not making my own was better spent making my products. I now order my labels in the thousands😀

I like it! I’ve been considering leaving my regular job. I have a few services that I provide and things that I sell and it’s very helpful to get an idea of how other people are doing online. Thank you for being transparent and giving us your numbers. It’s really appreciated, and I hope you continue to excel. Your products are superb very impressive quality and workmanship. As a tailor and seamstress for over 40 years. You definitely do the profession proud!

      Thank you so much.
I got into the alterations and repairs out of necessity, but have learned more this way than in all the years I've sewn. I always say that when I retire from the shop, I'll still have full time employment providing this service from home. Then I'll do the occasional market too 😀

Hi Christine, thanks for sharing more great information. It’s actually quite inspiring to hear the details of your sales, especially for those thinking or planning to make and sell hand made goods. It would be great to have a follow up video of the next three months. And also do you have plans for any seasonal or new items to make and sell? Also I love your channel and can’t wait for your new episodes👍

Thank you so much Christine for sharing this info! It makes me want to keep working on my handmade items! I recently received my first - although small - order of labels from Wunderlabel! I love them and will begin adding them to my projects. I don’t have a shop so I will be using the web to promote my items. You are SUCH an INSPIRATION!! Thank you! Keep smiling 🤩

Thanks for this video. My wife and I operate a small leather shop in North Carolina, USA. Our business does not include a retail shop, but it may in the future. We make a few box corner tote bags from textiles, but we use leather handles. They are a bit larger than your shopping bag. They sell well. All the best.

Thanks for sharing Jim. The leather handles would be a great addition to your bags. I get plenty of vinyl, but not had access to leather yet 😀
