Just made this oh-sew-easy (😉) card holder and love it! I made only one minor change as my elastic stash was low - I used a hair elastic (from the dollar store) , shortening the stitches over the elastic to ensure it stayed put, et voila! A super quick and easy holder was born. Thank you for a fun pattern and excellent tutorial, Angela ☺️
Elastic hair tie... know it well! I used them on masks in 2020, extending the side to accommodate the extra coverage. Also have used the small quarter size hair ties as a loop around a button.
I know-I was watching and when she said it was for cards and such, I said “Stop it!” right out loud! This is the cutest thing, and a great way to use scrap fabric and to make for craft bazaars. Thank you!
Love these little wallets! I made two for my nieces to hold gift cards for Christmas. I swapped out the elastic for snaps. Instructions were easy to follow for a beginner sewer. Thank you! :)

I’m thrilled because in my family we’ve all reached an age of not really needing anything in particular when it comes to gift giving so we’ve been giving gift cards. I just pulled out my 1970ish but workhorse sewing machine for a friend to give me a lesson on making Bowl Cozies. I forgot how fun sewing can be.
