PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE MAKING THIS BAG, AT 3 MINUTES I STATE THE LINING NEEDS TO FACE UP, THIS IS INCORRECT THE LINING NEEDS TO FACE DOWN!!! it does face down in the video but for some reason I said it needs to face up, I think the pattern is so similar on both sides I got myself confuddled!! 🤣 xxx
Awh I'm so sorry!!! I really wish I could fix the video! I was so annoyed when I found out I had said it wrong!! I hoped so much people would see this first 🤣🤣 I hope you can give it another go!! 🥰🥰 xx
This literally took me about 20 minutes to make (I'm still a beginner) and it's so cuuuute. I found fat quarters for $1.25 (USD) and have been grabbing those and making a huge profit on my bags. Thank you for the video, very easy to follow!! 🥰
I just made my bag I made a few changes though like adding batting for stability and using larger pieces of fabric. Love the tutorial it was easy to follow and helped me get the hang of making better bags, thank you so much.
Omg I was scared to make a tote bag.. after watching your video. I feel confident that I can make this.. thank you for taking the time to show us how talented you are xxx
I just made my first bag, it’s such an easy idea, but must admit I did get confused about which side up the lining fabric needed to be until I read your comments. Thank you so much.
I've just ordered my first sewing machine and have been glued to RUclips all day. I've stumbled across your channel (and have subscribed!) - I love this idea! Your 5 minute crafts are brilliant! I'd love to see a tutorial (or two... or three 😁) on ways to use 10cm squares in sewing projects 😉🙏🧵 x
What a lovely little bag, so easy and quick to make up thanks to your instructions 🙌 I’ve just made one for my Granddaughter using Peppa Pig fabric . 🥰
Your videos are inspiring, I am new to sewing (with a machine) and I have made a couple of these bags already for my granddaughters, they are easy to follow with clear instructions and I found them very helpful, thank you, I am going to try your foldable bag with pockets next for my bag. ❤
I sawyour video months ago and saved it on my pc and decided it watch it again today as I amnow going to make it for a friend. Thanks for your great ideas on use of fat quarters.
Just finished mine - it turned out cute. It's pretty small, but still adorable. Somehow my lining ended up inside out but it doesn't really matter. I'm a beginner so just happy to have completed a project. Thanks for the quick and easy tutorial.
Awh I'm glad you made it! It could be because the material was the wrong way round at one stage, I made a mistake in the video so check the description for the fix! Xxx
Well this is just TOO cute! I used 1" webbing for the straps on my first one and I think with the webbing, a shorter strap works. I also snipped off the ends of the folded corners after stitching them just to get rid of the extra fabric in there. It's adorable--first one was for me to iron out the kinks (so to speak), and now I start making them for friends! Thank you so much for posting this!!!❤
I just received a sewing machine may work on a few of these today. I am doing the markets in November and may add Velcro for closure or a button of some sort
Wow thank you so much my confidence has just gone through the roof ! I’m buzzing after making this lil cutie!! ❤ I’ve only made scrunchies and gift bags before this bag. Can’t wait to go through all your tutorials now !! ❤❤
Hi. Thank you for this! Really enjoyed making it but it definitely took me longer than 5 minutes!! I had to unpick the whole lot as I'd sewn the liner on the wrong way. However, it's now finished and almost looks like yours.
Your very welcome Vikki!!! I'm glad you managed to make one!! I think it might be my fault you did the lining the wrong way!! I mentioned in the description and the top of the comments section that my voiceover said it wrong even though I actually did it right in the video 😔 I was really hoping that people would see it before they attempt it but it deffo gets missed so I apologise!! 💛💛💛 xxx
I’ve seen many tutorials about a tote bag and yours is the BEST and EASIEST. ***** Thank you!!!!!!How many inches over is the handle placed? Fat quarter here is 21x18. Which way to cut it?
Thank you. I needed a small bag to hold my needles, thread, beeswax and thimble for my quilting. Had some left over fabric and made a lovely bag I plan to make another bag to hold the things I use to sew bindings on my quilts.
If I wanted to make a bigger bag, could I still follow this tutorial and use 2 fat quarters (one for lining, one for outside) without cutting them in half? Would I need to change anything?
Love this!!!.......brilliant video and you do the job beautifully. I’ve now subscribed to your channel. I look forward to watching more of your excellent tutorials.
I've cut my fabric the wrong way so my bags are thinner and taller. For future ref you need to cut the fat quarter two shorter sides together. Hope that answers everyone's question.
🤣 xxx
Hahaha I'm glad for that and it hasn't been too much of a pain for you!!! 😊😊😊 xx
Wish I’d read the comments first! Complete beginner and thought I was doing so well! 🙄
Awh I'm so sorry!!! I really wish I could fix the video! I was so annoyed when I found out I had said it wrong!! I hoped so much people would see this first 🤣🤣 I hope you can give it another go!! 🥰🥰 xx
My Nanny’s seam ripper got put to good use and the second attempt came out great 👍
Awh I'm so glad your second one came out well!! 😊❤ xx

How much do u sell them for
I was wanting to make to sell. What ia a good selling price?
I just made my bag I made a few changes though like adding batting for stability and using larger pieces of fabric. Love the tutorial it was easy to follow and helped me get the hang of making better bags, thank you so much.

Really cute Toy Story bag, keep the videos coming x
Thank you so much! 😊😊😊 xxx
When we cut the fat quarters in half do you cut at the 18in side or the 22in side?
If you want to to make this into a crossbody bag with a scrap what size bag do you make and what size straps do you make
If I wanted to make a bigger bag, could I still follow this tutorial and use 2 fat quarters (one for lining, one for outside) without cutting them in half? Would I need to change anything?
Thank you
❤❤❤ thank you.
Does she mean cut it in half by the 18 or the 21?
Great and fast ideal!!! I Love it!!!

Awh amazing!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰 Harry Potter is definitely a good choice!!!! 😊😊😊 xxx
buen tutorial ;;; facil y bonito !!!!! gracias , lo voy a intentar ;;;!!
I've cut my fabric the wrong way so my bags are thinner and taller. For future ref you need to cut the fat quarter two shorter sides together. Hope that answers everyone's question.
Very nice..now let's see if I can actually do it..🤣
Yes definitely give it a go! Just check the description and pinned comment as I did make a slight mistake! Otherwise good luck! 😊 x
