Reeeally helpful tips & hints on here. Just about to do my Christmas buying. First time ever, so googled some pointers & you came up. Thankyou so much. I'm using thin parcel string for my hanging strip. Hope it works. I will have to thread it in between both sides of long tops of triangles. Sewing machine would be too fiddly to try & sew it when they're done?? 🤔🤔

Looks like you did not leave enough ease when you made your end pockets - your image with the passport in, shows it gaping, not lying flat - folding those pockets so they end up 1/4" shorter, would leave that passport lying flat and closed.

What size zipper should we be using??

You need to explain yourself much better ! For one bag with coordinating lining, it takes a half of a fat quarter for each material!!! and when sewing together the right sides of material need to face one another!! Very cute pattern just lead me astray with your explanation!!

Heya in your fat quarter bag video I’m just trying to do it (the one with the Toy Story pattern) do I sew the handles onto the side with the pattern or without I’m so confuddled😂😭

Ok, I redid the bag the next day and it is quite adorable. And I put in a matching handled wallet. I'm going to make another one.

This was pure madness to make. One of the straps was on the outside of the bag while the other was on the inside of the bag. Had to cut the long sides off . I don't know how I turned a simple project into a mountain of crap. Ugh!!! Ok, I watched it again and I didn't bring the two short pieces to the middle. That was the problem. I will try it again, but not today.

Yesterday I made my first project ever, with your fat quarter bag tutorial! I started this apron at 9pm and it’s 1am and i just finished! 😂 I added some ruffled trim to the bottom and used valentine’s day fabrics and it is DARLING!! thank you for this video ❤
