    Wouldn't it have been great to have this type of videos in the 60s and 70s and a way to watch them. Then teach your friends to make what you learned and vice versa? I mean back when we had friends we actually talked to with spoken words and saw in person.

    Love this! I was an industrial sewer for 10 years back in the 90's. Dear God I want to sew again! Thanks for this amazing video. One of a few things on my "basket list" to do wen i retire. Im praying it can be this year. Thanks for the incentive!!

    Love the pin cushion! A suggestion for those who find poly fill expensive...use fabric scraps or rags for stuffing.

    Love the simplicity of your ideas. The only thing I would add is to show the item before the tutorial so we know what’s being made!

    What cute ideas for scraps! In addition to batting, I would use a layer of Insul Bright for the cast iron handle holder. They get really hot and one layer of ‘batting’ just isn’t going to do it. Thanks for sharing these stash buster projects.

    Great ideas, if I may to put in the stuffing in faster take a piece card stock, paper work too make a funnel out of it stick small end into hole. Then push it in, super easy super fast. My Granny taught me this, just wanted to past on some of her awesome wisdom. HAPPY SEWING EVERYONE! GOD BLESS.

    New subbie and Wow! I've never seen anyone thread and knot a needle the way you did when you made the pincushion. I had to rewind and slow it down so that I could see it again, and then you twisted the thread! Blew my mind! TFS - stay safe out there and have a blessed week!

    Such cute things that you made look so simple to make!! I love all of them and definitely want to make the little bag/envelope type one as an envelope for my watercolor card I'm painting for my mom. Trying to get back in to sewing and these small projects will help me get back comfortable with it. Thanks so much!!

      Yeah, but you should add more layers or thick fabric than mine for safe because the handle is very hot😄♥️

    I like how you're not afraid to seal up holes from stuffing or flipping by hand instead of using the machine to put an obvious seam in it 👍

    Thanking you for sharing the video. I really love the pouch/envelope.. I have been look for something like this. As I am not good at sewing this if it had a zipper. Thinking of adding stabiliser to make it a big more harder. 😅

    New subscriber!!! Thank you so much I love sewing and I bought a sewing machine for the first time and it will arrive this Tuesday 11/01/2022. So exited!     I love your small projects! That pin holder can be used in soooo many ways. Even to decorate a wall or to adorn a fancy blanket, pillow or comforter, 😯. Now you're giving me ideas, 😉👍.       Old sewing machines are great!
      I’ve got 2 that are over 10 years old and another from the 50’s...love them!
      Just make sure you oil old machines and then they go forever. 😊🌸👍🏼💕
