How to make Fabric Butterflies. This is an easy DIY with lace and Steampunk key charms.
I show you how to make a plain origami butterfly using just two pieces of fabric and also one with lace and a charm in the centre.
Once you've made one, you can also embellish your butterflies with sequins, beads and pearls to create something really special. Even add them onto a quilt !
You could even add embroidery on the corners if desired.
You can decorate just about anything with these butterflies and easily turn them into hair accessories.

    The fabric is cut 5" x 3.5" or 13cm x 9cm
Make butterflies any size you like.
When cutting the rectangle, the width should measure about 70% of the length.
These make great gifts. Make a few for the holidays!

I have a faint memory of a childhood friend teaching a group of us to do this with paper (I think we used wrapping paper..), on a sunny 80s summer day, sitting in their backyard. Your video production is very well done 👍 and I appreciate that it takes a long time to make such professional videos. What we get in 10 mins will take hours and hours of filming and editing. So thank you for producing clear, concise videos and such beautiful craft items that we feel confident we can make . The reason we feel confident is because your instructions are top notched! 😉😉😉💕💕💕

I don't know how I missed this channel until now. It's perfect. Your clear voice and barely audible music are assistive to people who are hard of hearing. Thank you for making this excellent site.

Thanks for that! It’s funny what you say about the music because I spend ages looking for and deciding on the music only to turn it right down…LOL. I don’t want to use music that sounds like you’re in kindergarden…..😊

@@NotchesSewing Right. If I wanted music I'd go find it on a music video. Hearing people have no idea how hard background sound makes to the hard of hearing.
