      @merrq1 3 года назад +8

@ANACONDA 23 make sure you get a barber youre mad comfortable with. Its hard but its possible, maybe going to salons instead of barbers would be better. Just ask them to leave the sides and the back (if youre growing them out ofc) and to just thin the top out and get rid of any access bulk. You could even ask to cut the length a bit if you want to give the top some time to catch up with the sides

blow drying is the best type of drying, only if you do it right: medium temperature and at a good distance, like atleast 10 centimetres (don't know inches i'm euperon lul). The more the hair stays wet the more swollen the cuticle becomes, so try to dry the hair as soon as possible to avoid breakage and shallow hair.

Finally, I reduced my dandruff and hair loss.
First, Apply hair oil and leave it overnight or at least 1 hour for it to work.
Secondly, Rinse it out with shampoo.
Next, Apply conditioner that you prefer to the roots of your hair.
I used littleeextra cococonion anti hair fall kit for these steps as it's mild and natural, and is considered good for reducing hair loss.
Incase if you have dandruff, apply lemon juice on your scalp minimum once a week before shampooing and rinse it out after an hour or so.

Very helpful thank you. I’m growing out a pixie cut and I cut my own hair. Obviously, cutting the back is really difficult but I have thick wavy hair which makes it easier to disguise with products too lol. I’m sure it’s not something you would recommend but it grows so quickly I would be there every few weeks. Having thick hair I get what you described, thicker on the sides. There’s a fine line between thinning and cutting. I’ve seen hairdressing thinning scissors that cut from the scalp and the hair lays flat not stick up because it’s so short. Don’t worry I’m not going there! Leave that to you professionals! Drying my hair in different ways and using different products usually gets me through a grow out but it’s a very difficult stage, one in which you fight temptation to get it all chopped off again lol. I wish I knew what I’m growing it into, I’m thinking no longer than just under the chin with layers. Being thick makes it difficult. One thing I found out over recent years is that having my hair too long adds years to me and drags me down. Shorter definitely made quite a few years roll away. That’s for me anyway, so 🤞🏻I find a style that is ‘me’! Thank you for sharing 💇🏻‍♀️ 😊

I always cut myself and I use a cap when I try to grow my hair out and just trim the end a little if it looks absolutely awful. Cutting your hair by yourself is at times pretty hard, it requires you to have tried different cuts and experienced the bad to understand what is the good. I would advice everybody who wants to grow their hair out to get a pair of thinning shears because your hair will look like a mess if you just let it grow. You don't really need to cut a complete hairstyle when you save your hair out, just trim your ends a little and shear your hair if it looks like a crows nest. Another thing about the cap is that it removes the need to use a lot of products that can ruin your hair, your hair can look like a mess under the cap, nobody will know, keep the end of your hair trimmed and it will look alright without products.. ^^

I went to what I would consider a good barber yesterday, emphatically stated that I am growing my hair out and that I've had trouble in the past when telling stylists that I'm growing my hair out and they cut too much, and he was all understanding. He proceeded to cut off a shit ton of my hair, and, again, I'm pissed off. I guess next time that I will get a picture on my phone and do like you say.

The right shampoo & conditioner, always buy u r hair products in a professional salon , not a grocery store , thats how , hair stays beautiful even after a week, throw some argon oil in u r hair, every now n then , dont hurt it either,& when u do u r final rinse in the shower, use cool water , not hot , hot water dries u r hair out

My hair grows really fast Infront of my ears and since I don't have a beard it doesn't look very good like that (it's also very stubborn and won't slick behind the ears even with gel/clay). Is it advisable to cut those bits off yourself or could that cause problems?
Don't really want to be going to the barbers every two weeks just for that especially if I'm tryna grow out..

From my experience, hairstylists seem to hate men with long hair.
Me: "I'm growing it as long as I can"
    Stylist: "Okay"
    *takes off 4 inches*
Also, the "Is this much okay?" trick where they wind up taking three times as much off thinking you won't notice.

(she said not to do this)

The tale of TheSalonGuy is almost hard to belive...ahh yes, a legend was born from a tragedy, something nobody can even think about. Male pattern hair loss. He was horrified when he discovered the spots, and almost ended it all. BUT!...he soon realized he went through a living hell, so he can be the one to stop it from happening to anybody ever again. Though some claim they heard a different version of the story, where he follows you in the shadows. Taking one strand of your hair out everyday, until it's GONE!

Honestly I haven't had a haircut in probably just over a year now and my hair looks great. Super healthy looking and has a lot of shine when I wash and condition it. However it currently doesn't really have a style, it's simply long hair for the sake of being long hair. No layering or parting.
It got to a point where I wear a headband all day to keep it all back which I love the look off but sometimes I do want let my hair lay naturally where some layering with help to ensure the hair lies in a way that doesn't disturb me

My hair cuts have traditionally been pretty short with a 1.5 on the sides with fades. It’s been 2 months since I last got it cut and it’s beginning to look awkward. I want to grow it out to medium length but wasn’t sure how to go about it. I’ve never seen myself with more hair than how it is now. I’ll keep it going but I think at month 3 I may need some upkeep. Thanks for the tips.
