I'm less and less surprised at the news stories of men and women coming back to the salon or barbershop with a gun lmfao.
It happens way too often when you give them very detailed explanations of what you want with lots of empbasis on what to avoid. Then they fuck it up anyway.

I have my hair up to my lips and it’s wavy texturized I can slick it back and everything I love it the wait was worth it. I want to tell you guys that the reality hair doesn’t grow fast overnight or anything it just takes time be patient for me it took 1 year to grow it out

My hair texture is wavy/a bit curly and medium to low hair thickness. My budget is limited however could something like this haircut be achieved without those products/air dryer, exception would be shampoo and conditioner. Maybe my wavyness of my hair could help with the flow?
Grew my hair out super long for about 2 years then cut it a year ago. Now growing it out again and this is the exact style I'm going for. Super useful video. I have the top/front length but my sides/back are about 1-1.5 inches. How long would you guesstimate this would take to achieve from my current state?

Let me start out by saying that I'm a barber. I have no problem cutting the shorter men's hairstyles. Where I run into problems is cutting the longer men's haircuts. I don't have any problems with the layering part but I do with cutting the perimeters. What I would really like is for you to do a lot of videos on cutting the perimeters on lots of different haircuts. Show how you cut the perimeters on short, medium, long, and longer length haircuts especially when cutting perimeters from short to long. Where I have the most problem at is when cutting the angle on the sides to keep the perimeter on a straight angle when a person has ears that stick out a little or a lot. It's easy to keep a straight line when cutting the perimeter sides on a mannequin because the ears don't stick out, but in the real world on a real head it's not that easy. At least for me it's not. Also, is there a certain spot above the ear or past the back of the ear to stop cutting the section from the front side of a haircut going back toward the ear if the hair past the ear is going to be a lot longer after that. For example, let's say the length on the side, from the front of the hairline to the back of the ear, is cut straight across at a length just about even with the bottom of the ear. Also, let's say that the hair past the back of the ear gets a lot longer as you cut down toward the perimeter on the back of the head at the bottom. Please show the best ways to cut perimeters like that. Do you or does anyone else know of any videos or books that deal mainly with cutting perimeters?
