It’s weird that the people with the least amount of hair are always very knowledgeable on hair. Some of the best barbers I’ve met have bald/low cut hair.
Cas if they bald, that means they old. They wise
@@1saamor897 my dad went bald at 20 sooo not that old lmao
They sacrificed their hair for knowledge
must mean the best way to keep it is short surely

That was really helpful, no more struggling with the flat straight hair ✨
I have great hair but it’s so hard to maintain. I have to clean my hair frequently or else it bunches up and looks weird, and if I clean it often it’s flat and straight, like my hair looks exactly like the mannequin at the beginning. It’s great to see I’m not alone and there’s solutions to it.

Its that time again 😔
I was almost going for a buzz cut because i thought it was just impossible to get my hair the way i wanted, I thought i just didn’t have the right hair to be able to style it (everytime I did, this front layer would just fall flat no mattwr what or look very weird).
Tried this by myself as last hope and it worked spectacularly, can’t believe it would was that simple
Hye can't find a single hairstyler like you who has rhis much understanding.
Thank you so much! I was feeling like shit all day because of my hair (this specific top layer that will lay flat no matter how I style my hair) and did this and now it looks so much better!
I've been cutting my hair with comb and scissors for decades. The two things to remember.....don't try it drunk and the difference is a bad haircut and a good one is two weeks.
Thank you. You have amazing tips and advice. ! You are a stylist I trust
Finally, I’ve been looking how to fix this for like eons! Thanks for making this video!
I love how he is 'flicking " the scissors in and out! Love to see in slow motion! Very professional and informative 👏 👌 👍
This was incredibly helpful, thanks a lot!
Thanks a lot bro, I always been stuck with some weird hairstyle that just didnt look good, it would always fall flat, but now thanks to you I can actually have a good hairstyle
thanks bro 💪
So did you do it?
How did it go?
@@justlikethat7695 it went very well, i expiremented with some things, and eventually tried a hair iron, and works amazing, i learned how to add layers to my hair with it, just been good all around, its been a while since ive seen this video, i dont remember exactly what he recomended, but it doesnt matter, i learned how to add layers
@@BananaOrangutang do you do them yourself?
@@exclaiming no. almost every barber i went to. haircuts never turn out how i want them to. no texture. no layers. but i might know a barber im gonna try though
thank you SOOOO much bro
i’ve been looking everywhere for something to get my hair fluffy!
thx so much
This was insanely helpful. Thank you man.
Thank you, I found it helpful and this video was on my recommendation.
You are the best. Just in the last month has been introduction to ur videos! My hair is all one length and heavy!! So after watching this video I know what needs to be done! Now, having said that, not so sure how it will turn out, but hopefully I can follow my guide that I create with that first cut! (Right?)
I hope this fixes my problem. Thank you for this video very much!
did it fix it?
i've been trying to make my hair much lighter for a while, this definitelly helped me
This is very helpful! Now if only it's easy to cut MY own hair...
Talented stylist whose clients go home happy!
Great technique love your channel
This helped a lot as a beginner barber
The only problem is I get confused of which section I've done cutting and should cut next, since I don't have much vision even if I'm looking in the mirror
Hope the best.
As I saw he only cut the parts which he grabbed and wasn't the same length then he cut it to the length of the shortest one he grabbed
Try sectioning ur hair in ponytails first or wet it before you even try grabbing pieces to cut, so that the hair can clump into easy to visualize sections! Goodluck!
maybe if you make little ponytail out of the section you cutted if your hair is long enough to make one
Thank you very much for this video. As a man, I like my hair on the longer side but I dread going to the barber or even a salon because it's damn near impossible...no, it is impossible to find someone who knows how to layer thick hair. Stylist act like I'm from another planet because I don't want a fade or a military cut. I end up doing what you've shown here but only to the top. I'll use your suggestions and try this again myself.
Oh yeah, after watching this once and having no prior experience I'm going to try this
Dude I think I'm finally starting to get it, thanks a lot!
Wow! This really helped me understand.
this! is exactly what i needed thank you
Wow this works amazing thank you!!!!
Dang what a great video. May have done this before, but never saw the vid. But something else that worked pretty well for me was that I got a perm, but after a few months like 4-5 when it started fading away my straight hair wasn’t as straight and heavy anymore as it was before I got the perm. Used to be very straight, and immensely heavy, nothing I tried to make it more fluffy worked. Now a few , months after I got the perm I got that type of messy hair style in between straight and curly hair. Not sure if it will get more straight in a few months though, but I really doubt that will happen.
i did exactly the same thing! my hair could stab somebody its so straight and heavy so i got a body wave and its the easiest thing i've ever had to style my hair
U deserve an oscar man thank u so much!
Great tips, thanks!
duuuude I'm so amazed
your videos are so helpful! i think the only thing left for me is to learn how to cut the hair at the back of my head. the layers in front are great but the strands at the back look so.. detached??
thank youtube algorithm for putting this on my feed‼️
Dang ima get some layers next time, thanks man 👨
Thank you so much my hair use to be wavy and the front would curl up than i got a haircut and it was always so flat tho s helped a lot
So glad I found this vid ❤️
Amazing , could you please do Leonardo DiCaprios hairstyle from the basketball diaries?

heyy really helpfull tips, man! I absolutely love your channel, it helps me a lot when i'm looking for a new haircut :D would you mind doing Maxence Danet-Fauvel's haircut? or maybe have you done one similar to it?
you have the same questions i had and now i have the answer thank you very much
Been struggling with my hair a lot and now just today that I found I have flat hair lol. Thank you i finally know how to at least describe my prob to the barber
that was really helpful thanks
Thnank you Steve. Very helpfull
OMG THANK YOU SOO MUCH
u. life saver. and im not exaggerating.
I’m actually rly digging this hairstyle! I wanted to grow my hair out in the front, but it’s getting too flat from the length and I think it looks quite dorky.
Maybe feathering on the ends will help with that too?
Is if possible to train your hair back with this type of hair?
i am growing out my hair too but its summer already and I got too much volume at the back...what should I do?

Thanks a lot sir
All these years I never understood this and it just clicked. Mind blown.
i want a haircut from this guy
Thank You so much meb
My barber does this ever since I started going there And I didn’t even ask him 2 but it still just remains as a flat fringe.
Nice! U look good🌷
Thank you sooo much i have a nice face and nice hair but I've never known what to do with my mop hair and it covers my face
Crazy how much that hair looks like mine. Mines just way more curly.
i did it and it looks so nice!!!!!
This was exactly my problem
My favourite haircut❤but after jin kazama's hairstyle
I’ve got this exact type of hair just different colour and I want a messy look how would I do that? Is there something I can ask my barber to do
I've been through 5 hairstylists & they always leave the front of my bangs & back sides long & un-layered. I try fixing it with hairspray & pomade but it makes it heavy after a few hrs. I hope I can fix it myself & get it to how I want it.
Thx
TY
It works
Awesome
what would i specifically ask when i get to the salon for this haircut?
Could you do new Nick Austin haircut before he got buzz cut. Plis 🙏
does this work for curly hair also ? and what is the name of this act? trimming ? or like layering ? please help
should I do this? I'm planning on getting a fringe with low taper. I have a pretty short hair.
i have decent hair it has flow it’s just one side looks a little different then other and I have to keep fixing it during the day. Hopefully I find a barber who knows next time 👍
Can you please do Jeff spicoli from fast times at ridgemont high? Please i cant find any tutorials on it
Same hair length but for curly hair.
Curly flat hair please.
hi can this work for slick backs? like could I do it and it would layer in a slick back?
How do you do the hair cut he started with? Is there a video on it?
y'all know what the hair style/type in the video is? the untouched version of it in the start. mine is outgrown, still don't know when to cut it but I want to style it.
I'm trying to get the haircut he started with on the mannequin head, what would I tell my barber or be looking for to get a similar style?
Ur head is soo shiny like plate
👁️👄👁️Your head is soooo~ Shiny!
How do I do this for a middle part since my hair goes on the sides how to I find where I should cut it
