3 years since you posted this video and it is still helping! Not sure if the cut was uneven or my hair grows unevenly, but one side was nicely layered while the other was mostly one length. I watched your vid and within a minute things are now beautifully layered and balanced. Thanks so much!!!

Thanks for this video, it helped me better understand the problem working on the back of my head. I've been self cutting since age 18 because my fragrance allergy prohibits me entering any salon. Many times I've cut too short or uneven, very challenging to self cut. Thank you again for your tips! Very helpful!

Great video and I have enjoyed learning how to layer my fine hair so it looks fuller. Have been cutting my own hair since the pandemic and your videos have been so helpful! Gets a little difficult doing the back by myself. I also have been cutting and layering my husband's hair for the past year. Thanks for doing these awesome videos!

As an educator and professor, I truly admire your ability to clearly explain things. This DIY haircut tutorial is straightforward, even for inexperienced people. Your step-by-step guidance and clear communication make the process approachable. Even professionals can appreciate how easy you make the process look. Your ability to break it down step by step is impressive. One question: Do you always cut layered hair dry? Great work!

Thank you so much for taking the time to show how it’s supposed to be done!!

It gives me a lot of anxiety to cut her hair because my aunt did it around Christmas time and basically cut it all off. It looked really bad and I don't want it to look bad when I do it. I did a cut on my hair and it actually looks ok but your video is brilliant. Given me more idea how to break the sides up as it looks a bit clumpy. Thank you.
Thank you! This is very helpful! I cut a length of all hair to a certain form like straight bob by the middle of my neck. Then I made a lot of tiny “ponytails” on my head and then tried to follow your directions and cut them by measuring to a certain length. It is not 100% perfect, but good enough to give me “sphere” shape and layers. Your explanation helped me to understand what I need to do. I will ask my husband to check and trim my hair in a back because it was harder to reach while looking in the mirror 😆. Thank you for making this DIY tutorial! I give you 👍 and subscribe to your videos. Best wishes!

Just like single people give the best relationship advice

Because they know the worth hair
