Anybody else just live in the awkward stage 24/7??
Me
You merely adopted the akward stage, i was born in it
Meeee
Right here bro
Every damn day
Before even watching I'm saying no. Everytime I've done it they chop my entire hair off
Same bro
@@feelist just let them know you’re trying to grow it out and not to cut length , it happened to me a couple of times at a barber shop and so I knew it wasn’t a lack of my communication, it was just them not listening
Yaaa
Last time I had a successful grow out was on a bet, a year and a few months later I collected and chopped it back off 😅
😂😂😂
A bald guy talking about hair, pure perfection
A coach doesn't play
Congrats on a million my boy
Awkward stage: Start out with having a 4 inch top with a fade on the sides. Especially with fine hair, as the hair on the sides grow out, it sticks straight out for months with little to no molding or pliability. That's the real awkward stage
Believe me bro I know ,I had to cut my hair off because I felt that’s the only way I could get an even grow
That's exactly what my bf is going through and the poor dude looks like a caveman, that's why I'm watching these to help haha
Finally someone who understands 🥹 I usually only get to about 3 or 4 months of growth before I shave it again because its so unruly and drives me nuts.
so what should we do then to avoid this awkward stage that u described? As for me, it sounds like having a little bit longer top is better than growing your hair out from buzz cut without having any haircut at all. I tried to grow it out starting from longer top and from buzzcut when length is equal in all parts. Currently i am growing my hair out from buzzcut for about 5 months and looks worse than my attempt to grow it out from longer top and fade on the sides...Shit, my head looks like ball. Thinking about cutting sides and back a little bit...
@@caffeinatedhobgoblin he could use hat or other things, my hair grows fast soo I didn't have to cut just hide it a little during my awkward stage. But I have curly and fluffy hair soo I don't know if it will help more.
I have the exact same problem with the slickback, you just described.
I should really get my back trimmed soon.
this video was much needed
My curly hair is always in an awkward stage.
Lasted up until last week. got past awkward stage sorta, it was a mess 11weeks. Found a stylist and decided it can only get better! Awesome touch up, the fuzzies growing out from a razor on curly hair is ugh ugh ugh-ly.
That's me always trying to grow my hair and it reaches that awkward moment,I always ended up cutting everything and never had a long hair.
Weak
Pathetic
At least mullets are acceptable for the moment 😅
As a hardcore heavy metal fan its my religion to grow hair. 😅
your hair style is the best:")
Yep I use clips headbands and bobby pins for this stage
Started about 3 weeks ago from a buzzcut, my goal is growing it out till the end of 2024.
I am really excited how the journey will go since I never grow them much out.
Good luck
Try to think what kind of hairstyle do you want for each stage or have that one specific hairstyle goal. Try to grow your hair mindlessly or just for the sake of it most of often resulted in a lot of awkward stage and eventually cut your hair short again
@@devaraft thanks for the advice! I think I will just let them grow out first and look afterwards what’s possible with it. I have a asymmetrical faceshape. My left skull side is different then my right one, but I need to say, that you already don’t see the different skull sides, because the hair made it look even. Before starting this journey I always had 0mm on the sides.
If I need to guess then I would say my hairtype is somewhat between 2C and 3A.
Let's go! Right there with ya. Stay strong 💪
ive never cut my hair in the awkward stage and eventually it turned out to be the decision bc u can shape it up when its at the length u want
Thanks for your content bro. I finally got a great haircut after years of being disappointed and settling for mediocrity. All it took was a new barber who knew what he was doing.
Need this^
this is a year late but if you see this how can you find a good barber near you? im tryna get a cut but not get messed up ykwim and I wanna find a good barber near me but idk how?
myy hair looks like this rn lol have been debating hair cut for a couple days. excited tob see what this video says. Thank you
You hit 1 mil!
Thank you
can you explain how to go from a flat side part for years to a middle part
I had to have some shape ups during the first year of growing mine. The back would end up looking like a mullet until the sides and front had time to start catching up. Once they caught up, I just let it go from there only trimming every 4-6 months as needed
I’m growing my hair out, and my hair in the back ends up like that too. When you say shape what do you mean? I’m not very knowledgeable on anything hair related.
@@okaysign2884 Shaping up just means going in to have spots growing faster or slower than others evened out and shaped into a cohesive style while it's growing.
@@StrappingYoungLadam oh ok, thank you
What if your hair isn’t at the awkward state but you’re just ugly? Is there hope?
I was thinking about the same thing💀
I have the same question ☠☠
Hair makes a big difference im your appearance. It can make you affective just find the right hairstyle.
Grow it so long that ur face isnt visible anymore
@@stephanthegreat1348 now we talking
I'm currently in that awkward state you mentioned in the back...I have extremely curly hair but they always want to style and cut it like a woman's hair. I thiink this is why men, in particular, don't want to get it cut...because they're scared of that happening.
Hi i have a question, why is the side of my middle part more curly and the other side is not. My hair from 6 yrs old to 13 yrs old was a barbers haircut, always sideways. Now that I'm 14 years old, I got a middle part mullet haircut. The length of my middle part is when it's lowered, it's only below of my eyelashes. Thank you so much. (Btw sorry my English is not that good)
Such nice low volume slick back
The question in which i am stuck 24/7 should i trim my lower back hair because they look extremely diffrent from hair above so finally today i am going to trim thoes neck hair
My current stage and getting it cut tomorrow
Buying thinning sheers have been great for me to thin the bulk with out getting rid of length while growing my hair out
20000% yes
Thanks man, appreciate it. Still it feels funny to receive help from someone that shaves all of his hair 😂
is it possible to get hair like the 2. doll but my hair is thick and flat but is there any kind of perm or idk what i need to get that hair is that possible?
now im saving up for a hair transplant
I would want to buy your tiktoker hairstyle kit but in the europe stores dont have all the same products as US , example the tiktoker hairstyle kit. What should I do?
The funny thing is that Ive gotten more compliments on my hair in my current awkward phase then Ive ever gotten with my fade haircut Ive been rocking!
Im growing a modern mullet and I just want to chop it off some days like im growing out the back and I don’t want to trim it yet so I can do it properly but I feel so ugly ahaha
This guy can read me I'm at this stage now
The back of my head touches anything it causes my slick back or side part hair style to puff again. lol
You’re being gaslit….”awkward” is an anxiety trigger word.
I think I’m going out of the awkward stage my bed head is more controllable my hair doesn’t clump together and it feels better (I’m male)
My hair is long from the top but the sides are short so this is definitely the awkward phase where i want to cut it 😭
My hair looks exactly like that but I'm nervous about trusting stylist and barbers as of late. I work from home and barely go out in public during this time of year unless it's for a date with my wife or going shopping. Debating if I should stick it out or if I should get it cut. I'm not sure if the bushy part will fall down and look better in the coming months
Oh wait now, I have very thick, coarse straight hair, growing it out from 1 inch on top and tapered down... The hedgehog phase is neverending 😅 Hats are necessary lol
Hell same😭, what should i do right now??? My hair look same as he showed a head of mannequin, they are long from back , look so awkward help me please....
@@yahya_176 soooo I kinda just went through the awkward stage and toughed it out, I got my haircut from a stylist about 3 months ago, and I'm about to go in for another one in the next month to finish cutting the dead ends from the long awkward phase. My hair looks way better now.
Just stick with it, it's rough, but I think you'll be happy in the end
@@FalseOrbit Sorry for the next question, whats your age bro? Please! 😭, literally the most irritating this is that, people don't mind their business, they be like:- why are you growing your hair.
When you're going to have a haircut.
What's your problems it's ducking my hair, my property..!! Why are you so concern😭!!
@@yahya_176 I'm 27, and I getchu. People kept telling me to cut it and everything, people will always be irritating so might as well ride it out and let the haters hate if they want to. Now after all this time, all those same people like my hair lol
My Hairs Are Exactly Like That Model I Am Growing My Hairs Out From 4 Months
Could you do the Henry Creel/001/Vecna haircut fron Jamie Bower Campbell in Stranger things S4?
Can you do Michael Yerger hairstyle? The one he have now
awkward stage been so long that I'm getting an actual haircut
Personally I don't feel there is an awkward stage If you have confidence and can rock it go for it 😁 I never use hair products my hair is just one big mop while growing for a full bun and I love it 😂
I was always scared
I have the exact slick back hairstyle, does the hair come down later as it grows? The hair on the back that stands up kinda annoys me.
It comes down the longer it grows because it’ll add weight
I’m trying to grow the flow and I have no idea how to get my hair to a flow style
watch my videos on how to get the flow
Mine is just so fluffy at the sides rn. It just sticks out 😫
I guide others to the treasure I can't possess
Been growing out my hair since Feb (5 months) but i notice my sideburns are messy like i got wings beside my head ... any advice? Should i get undercut?
Same
get a line up on the side and back
same bro. Btw what was your decision after so much time? or you did not get any and walk with short hair?
Low tape up
I ain't going for a haircut during my awkward months. SOME BARBERS HERE just don't listen at all no matter how well you are communicating with them. Just no.
yea my thougt I am at 6 months and there is no way I am going to a barber before at least mönth 12
Exactly. At this point I've developed a strong trust issue 😔
Wish me good lucky guys... currently on a streak of 4 months and NGL I look homeless fr but gotta give it a shot
I am at 6 months now and got comfortable with it. If u want to succeed u gotta embrace it and not think about it every day.
True that mate... btw I gotta say that the time when did the comment on this video it had been 5 months and not 4 months...(i did not count a month)that being said it's been 6 months now and I'm kinda tryna understand my hair more than i ever did ...there are people out there who are tryna tell me to cut my hair ignoring the fact that my hair aren't even in their prime phase yet
@@btw_its_mac4150 Yea same bro I learned how to style it so it looks clean and good even at this length I think a lot of leople are just overwehlmed and dont know what to do with it so they just cut it. We are together in this bro. Lets met again in 1 month when you are at 7 month and I am at 8.
@@stephanthegreat1348I prefer to keep my hair messy tbh.....like they look shit af if I try to do side partition or middle partition..my head looks uneven if I try to do so ... I've started getting compliments from some people ik.... it's just that my own cousins and siblings think that I should get 'em cut... nevermind that's my hair at the end of da day and I love 'em...Let's meet after a month from now..... TOGETHER WE GROW 📈 🫂
@@stephanthegreat1348wholesome ass fools 🥰
how do i find a good barber?
Should I go find a stylist instead of going to my barber cuz I wanna grow it out but he doesn’t really listen or understand when I explain what I’m looking for?
Simple answer..yes
@@StrappingYoungLadam how do u find a stylist tho? Just go to a random one and hope for the best?
Definite yes. Barbers specialize in shot hairstyles and fades. Stylists are good for long hair. Barbers don’t listen to you no matter how well you communicate what you want when you’re goal is to have long hair or wear a longer style.
@@lilrexy6088 kind of. You can look online for reviews, you can speak to them via phone call or email to tell them what you want, it gives you a good idea of how well they’re able to understand what you want and how they are attitude wise
@@lilrexy6088 Social Media, ask a lady friend for a recommendation. All kinds of ways
@TheSalonGuy i am currently staying in india , west Bengal and you don't know that "growing "your hair is not a tradition here, despite a lot of Bollywood actors have long hair.
The problem begins here as most men's salon are not expert enough to help people to trim and shape hair right way. They are just noobs who only knows to cut short and shave sides. These issues become insane if anyone have wavy or curly hair like me
You should open ur branch here or any country facing similar issues like me
💯
What about trying a women's salon?
Same bhai 😞😞..saloon e jaitei bhoi lage...every men in india have the same hairstyle which looks extremely boring..im going for long hair layered wolf cut...
I would just own the awkward stage, cause I know it will pass :D
I hate the back of that mannequin - my hair does that weird curl as well, so I just cut it back
Sir can you do Kevin(ezra miller) from lets talk about kevin please sir
Can you show us with your hair sir??
please make a video of soldier boy from boys
thanks man, you're only 3 days late. 😭
I swear i'm in the akward stage since 1 year
How should I comb my hair to get the hair like the dummy in this video
Hope you notice this: please make a video about how to get the haircut from soldierboy from the boys I’m sure many would be interested
how do i know if my hair is long enough to be layered?
Bro sacrified himself to save our hairstyles
When does the Awkward Stage starts and ends if you are growing your hair from bald?
If you are growing from a bald like me....
The awkward stage starts from day 1 and end when your hairs are fully grown
Bitter but it's a truth
my hair looks like the first maniqun but I don't like it
The example you gave was not short hair
How do I get the style of that mannican with the slick back hair. Just grow it and don’t cut the side burns?
That manequin puts myy hairline to shame fml
Same as my hairline
Would it be appropriate to grow out your hair with a resending hairline
If only I could find barbers with such passion here in India. People only get in this line for money, they have got no passion no nothing for cutting hair.
Something tells me not to take hair advice from this guy
just wear a cap
If you’re trying to grow your hair out DONT CUT IT
Look who is telling 😂
This guy has the best haircut 😀
Man without hair talks about hair
I just trimmed my back during awkaward stage
Back is so ugly during awkward stage fr bruh
@@asmitsharma70 it wasnt that bad but I feel better with trimmed back
In my opinion the awkward stage is before the dummy heads you pulled up
I dont think this guy knows anything about long hair
