I remember I played this for the first time on PS4 and I was still getting used to the controllers. I tried to pull out my bow and arrow but instead I accidentally whistled for Agro and the colossi slowly turns around to see me, he was just standing there menacingly and I was like oh sh*t

Just keep in mind folks that he's playing hard so almost all the colossi have more major sigils than the easy or normal counterparts, just to prevent any confusion.

So, THIS is Hard Mode - cuz I don’t remember Valus having a sigil on his arm on the previous video. Can’t wait to play this game - got it pre ordered since early January. Heck, I might - MIGHT - even play this on Hard Mode just for fun - and I’m usually a what some call “an Easy Mode baby.”

awesome music and epic boss fight, i remember first time i play this game back in early 2000 in PS2, what a memorable memory, i spent many time in PS2 rent store just to finish this game, many scene in this game is sad, i remember i cry a lot in last battle, my horse and only friend in entire game called agro fall into clift, but in ending agro is still alive but it look really sad when the main character finally died to exchange his wife to live again, what an epic ending
I get that people say that the remake isn't as good as the original, as it doesn't have the same eeire "out of this world" feeling while it looks like something that you would see on like another planet. Considering that there is the colossi in this alien-ish world. Meanwhile, the remake (this version) looks wonderful in 4K and no overly-pixelated graphics. It may trigger some, but I way prefer this version for the graphics and the fact that you can make jump X (I never got the bullshit that was Triangle for jump. Like, wtf Ueda-). But people still feel that this doesn't have Ueda's touch. I'm one that doesn't really see it, but oh well

Valus may not have the most interesting fight ( makes sense because it's the first boss), but damn it, they chose great music for it! Also, cool architecture in the valley.

Seeing how the Colossi were model after animals, including birds with tails (Avion), tigers with tusks (Cenobia), lions with hooves (Celosia), a giant dragonfly (Phalanx) and whatever the hell Pelagia is supposed to be (water bull, water buffalo with the body structure of a gorilla). Were there any Minotaurs in the Forbidden Lands that went extinct after Lord Emon’s ancestor sealed Dormin away?

I think the game would have been cooler if they could literally one hit kill you like it would actually be, and less focused on falling over and over. Still one of the best games EVER made.

Fer Zum just the same game with better graphics. But it looks phenomenal
the finisher yeah, the collosi look more organic graphic wise. It's almost that this is what they look like if they existed in real life
Well thats enough for me, i will get this game, i already have the ps3 and ps2 ver, to complete the collection

Co-op wouldn’t make any sense in the story. And those deleted features were colossi too hard or complicated to be put in the game.

Well, as far as I remember, in the original one Valus hasn't spot on his arm.
Giant Enemy Crabgot Valus has a weak spot on his arm in hard mode....

Seriously I'm having a hard time, I do not see more sigil on Valus, only the one on his leg but I keep sticking my sword in it like for countless times and it does not go out.
Are you charging the attack before you stab? You can’t just poke at his leg or the sword will not go through.
IT'S NOT A SIGIL ON HIS LEGG!!! IT'S A WOUND!
"Wounds" are basically places that makes the colossus do "something" that will allow you to climb further up the colossus. In the case of Valus, the WOUND on his leg makes Valus fall down on his knee which allowes you to climb up on his back and eventually his head where his actual SIGIL exists. If you look closely you'll see that the sigils look like a sigil with intricate patterns and a "wound" is just a bunch of cyan cracks on the colossus skin.
Also wounds will give of a sort of red mist (either when close or when pointing the swords lightbeam at it) and Sigils will shine brightly a cyan/white light when you're close or on top of the sigil.
Yeah thanks guys, i had a rough time during the first few hours playing the game adapting to the controller. I also didn't see the sigil on his head because i had the bow out and not the sword... xD yup, like i said i had a difficult time adapting to the game at first.

Instead of a dumb remake they should've made the game as it was supposed to be. With the 48 colossus and all the taken out parts.

No, the story is about 16 colossi. Also 48 is too many, they would have to change the map to fit that many colossi and it would just ruin the pacing of the game.
They weren’t allowed to add anything that would change the story
And the 48 colossus was one of the ideas for co-op but it was declined
and ngl I already find it extremely painful to get to some of these colossi i wouldn’t want 32 more vry far away colossi
I think the remake is fine as I wanted to see sotc with better graphics and the sound effects + graphics were way over my expectations
