I find that people don't seem to grasp the significance of the Sabbath being instituted before there was sin in the world. This alone should be enough to see the truth. Among many other clear reasons. All of which by themselves qualify as enough of a reason to see the truth.

Those "sabbath"days fell on different days of the week, they were called sabbaths because they weren't supposed to do any work any work on those days.

Its amazing that the LORD gave the Sabbath to Adan and Eve before they sinned so that when after they sinned they would have every week a whole day to commune with Him to restore the relastionship that had been broken.
Its a beautiful loving thing He did for them. Can you imagine the next Sabbath how they felt to be able to begin to commune with Him again, in a lesser measure, but for their healing.

People have lost the meaning of the word 'covenant"
A covenant is simply an "agreement"
The first covenant was when Man told God that all that He says they would do. Man in his strength, failed. It was satisfied by the blood of innocent animals.
In the new covenant, God the Father writes His Laws on our hearts AND He through the Holy Spirit helps us to keep His Laws. This was ratified by the blood of Jesus.
God makes a better agreement BUT He did not change the substance of the agreement, His Ten Commandments.
Wait until people find out the US constitution "The Law of the Land" with State, City, County Laws and ordinances needing to be in agreement are based on the same Covenant framework..... no wait, who am I kidding, people won't ever figure that out. Nevermind
I’m so glad you guys are Adventist. It just astounds me how hard they try to do away with the Sabbath. Something Christ kept.
Hey guys!! Half way through and loving it. One comment I had after reviewing Leviticus 23, and wanted to see response.
So when looking through, I actually see more of the feast days listed as sabbaths then what you noted in the video.
1.) feast of unleavened bread had 2 sabbaths-no servile work to be done (the 1st and 7th days).
2.) feast of harvest/Pentecost/weeks was a sabbath-no servile work to be done("Lev 23:21")
3.)feast of trumpets-sabbath
4.) feast of atonement -sabbath
5.) feast of tabernacles had 2 sabbaths- (1st and 8th days)
So, only the passover and the feast of first fruits there was no command to not do any work.

Looking at one response which makes the point which one would have personally made, that The Sabbath was before sin, as much as marriage was before sin, have we done away with marriage, would parents encourage their children to be disobedient to them now we are in a sinful environment, is it ok to steal from another person and why stop there it should be ok for any man to take another person's wife and the husband who's wife is taken from should say that's life it's one of the disappointments that I should live with, the wuestion is why attack The Sabbath which is in the same Law that says we should not kill, steal commit adultery take The Lord's name in vain or worship idols? Why attack, refuse and rebel and even to be repulsive stubborn and disobedient against The Sabbath has The Sabbath harmed anyone is it a selfish Commandment does it encourage evil?
The sad thing is this that even if the truth of The Sabbath is made plain like, 1 2 3 or A B C many will still refuse to accept that The Sabbath is made for all human beings according to what Jesus said (Mark 2: 27 and 28) and even worse many will realise that The Sabbath is of The Lord but will find out too late, may this not be you oh reader if you are not a Sabbath observer right now and may you be found on The Lord's side, Amen and Amen.
Thankful for this discussion! Was just in the New Testament today, and Colossians was one of the books that I heard. I have been trying to observe Saturday Sabbath as closely as possible. I intend to keep Saturday, but I would think that people have grace, through Jesus, if they at least set aside one day a week for sabbath rest for The LORD. Of course I believe it's Jesus that saves us, not any attempted legal observances.

Who has the right to change God' Commandments?
Keeping the Sabbath is not going to save you. Keep on ignoring his other biblical holy days and you'll see, because they are NOT done away with!! We are to keep ALL of his appointed days. If you don't want to accept truth how can you claim to be an SDA?

This is not right. Why only show up the Pastor and from an Adventist view present this to the world as if you and your guest is right? Why did you not do the respectfull way of inviting that Pastor and have a dialogue.
There seem to ne a pattern with most adventist pastors and apologist they only want to present the topic but refuse and scare away from debating. That is a coward way and misleading.
You started off by stating the law God will write on the hearts of Israel and you know the law referred to was all 623 odd laws including the 10 commandments written on stone by God as it was the covenant with Israel only and the sabbath was a sign of that covenant.
So if there were no change why would God write the law( 623) laws on their hearts if God said not like how it was made to your forefathers.
