The seventh day is the day sanctified by God. The fourth commandment says Remember the sabbath to keep it holy. Hasn't changed.
True! But... why was "the seventh day" sanctified by God? And why does Hebrews 4 speak of "another day" in direct contrast to "the seventh" day, as a "certain day" which , like the seventh which was given in a certain place to a certain people, is said to be set aside for believers to enter into God's rest? (A day called "today.") Think about it. And keep in mind that the fourth commandment mentions only "the sabbath," not "the seventh day" of the week. We may infer from that the seventh day is being implied, but that may not be so.

I just wanted to start by saying that I've been watching your channel for quite a while now and I've always enjoyed your content. It's nice to know that there are some young people interested in learning about the word of God. I too have been searching for the truth and studying the Bible for many years now. It is a very complex book but with the help of the Holy Spirit, we come to understand God's perfect plan and as we study, we get more truths revealed to us.
Why do you think most Christians go to Church on Sunday instead of on Saturday when the Bible clearly shows us that Saturday is the day that God wants us to observe?
1. God blessed the seventh day and made it holy at creation. Genesis 2:3 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
2. God wrote the 10 commandments with his own finger. Deuteronomy 9:10 10 Then the Lord delivered to me two tablets of stone written with the finger of God, and on them were all the words which the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire in[a]the day of the assembly.
3. Jesus said: If you love me, keep My commandments. John 14:15 15 “If you love Me, [a]keep My commandments.
4. Sin is the transgression of the law. 1 John 3:44 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
5. The Sabbath will be honored in Heaven. Isaiah 66:23 23 And it shall come to pass
That from one New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the Lord.
6. God loves us and wants us to keep His commandments. 1 John 5:3 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
7. God’s law will not disappear until heaven and earth pass away. Matthew 5:18 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one [a]jot or one [b]tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
8. God wants us to remember the Sabbath. 8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.

Technically the 7th day begins on what we call Friday evening. The days of the week don't have names in the Bible or in Jewish culture (if they do, it's not mentioned in the Bible). This means that the Sabbath day is from Friday evening to Saturday evening (AKA the 7th day).

it's clear in Mathew 28:1 that the Sabbath is on Friday evening to Saturday evening. So do we nullify laws with faith? No rather we uphold the Laws Romans 3:31. Also donot forget to read Mathew 5:17-21.

it just shows you are hard headed, as usual.
God is unchangeable in his character, but he has made consecions to us, meaning he has sometimes allowed people to do things he doesn’t like. When Jesus was asked about divorce, Jesus told them that divorce was wrong, however, Moses gave the Israelites instructions from God on how to process divorce, not because God wanted this, but because He made a concesión to them because of their hardened hearts. God would fulfill his promise of a New Covenant through Israel because He promised Abraham and Abraham was loyal. So because of His love for Abraham, God continued his work through Israel, even allowing them certain things in order to keep them moving along. Another example is when God promised eternal priesthood to the tribe of Levi. Eternal never ends, however the tribe of Levi didn’t uphold their purpose and thus God removed the Eternal Priesthood from them. You see, God is never changing, but this doesn’t make Him an inflexible being. Even the Law came with the promise of a New Covenant. The New Covenant is Jesus. Again, God is never changing in his character. He is reliable that way. That doesn’t mean He can’t adapt His plan according to the situation. Someone who is not flexible like this cannot be a good planner, and we know God is the best planner.

The seventh day or Saturday is the Sabbath and it has not been changed. We are to rest and keep it holy and that still stands regardless of what you're trying to put out here Daniel! It really is all about Jesus! And for those of you who proclaim that and believe it, please stop trying to convince your “seventh day friends”to break God‘s Commandments and transgress his law! Prayerfully seek the Holy Spirit and search God’s word diligently to show yourself approved. 2 Timothy 3:15 and the Holy Spirit will reveal to you from his word which is the day that the Lord blessed and set apart as his holy day made for man!

You are right to question!
This presentation is full of problems. Poor research and many presumptions. No evidence of the transfer of the sanctity of the true Sabbath (7th day) is provided here. At least the Catholics are bold enough to admit they took it upon themselves to change the day to Sunday.
I believe the Sabbath is referred to over 40 times in Acts (if I’m not mistaken - will need to verify that). But of course no mention of that in this presentation.

The moral law remains, its the sacrificial law, the antitype of what is to come, that is our Saviour Jesus Christ, it is the ceremonial law in the sanctuary, was done away with. Indeed Jesus is our sacrifice. For those who have tested the grace and goodness of God, His commandments are joy and their delight.
But, in the book of acts the Sabbath is mentioned many times than the first day of the week. My family have morning and evening worship but on the Sabbath we cease from our regular business and we fellowship with the church. Bless you my brothers and sisters. About food, Isaiah 65 talks about the endtimes and swine is mentioned there. Its understandable for others who doesnt know these things not to follow but when it is revealed to you and you were convicted to obey than not, Id rather follow His ways. His ways are always higher. Look at the diseases caused by our disregard to the health principles in the Bible. We could have more vibrant life having healthy lufe style. But still, we are free to choose. The most important thing is we keep our eyes on Jesus, and follow His leading, not disregard His words. Godbless from Philippines.

Blessed morning saints. The Sabbath is a gift and made to be a blessing not a burden. Jesus showed us how to keep it. As His custom was, He went to sinagogue every Sabbath in Luke 4:16 and He do good deeds by healing others. The Pharisees accused Him of breaking the Sabbath because they made the Sabbath an excuse not to help others and judge other instead. Israelites arr Gods chosen people who He revealed His 10 Commandments, for those people follow after Christ, His commandments will be also revealed to them. The decision is ours to make. May we not fall under the same path of unbelief as other Israelites did. Sabbath is a blessing and equally important with other commandments. May the Sabbath blessing will be ours.

Sunday-keeping has been so ingrained in people they don't care anymore when the true Sabbath is.
I remember when I was small I was always told "no one knows what day the real Sabbath is anymore, that information got lost along with the Biblical Israelites."
Now that te knowledge of the true Sabbath day finally resurfaced (Thanks to Our Heavenly Father), now no one cares.
Breaks my heart.
This is not by any accident or coincidence. Satan the master deceiver is behind all this and he uses a man-made religious system. The little horn power in Daniel is the same as the beast with 7 heads and 10 horns in Revelation chapter 13. This religious and political system which is the antichrist power is none other than the Roman catholic church system. And the mark of their authority which will be the mark of the beast when it is enforced by governmental law will be Sunday sacredness or the keeping of Sunday over God‘s true Sabbath which is sunset Friday to sunset Saturday.

The Bible is clear only those who take the mark will be able to buy or sell. While purpose of the SBL is that NO ONE should be allowed to buy or sell. Ontop of that, SBL as the Mark would mean you can go buy/sell every other day of the week, but not on a Sunday. How is that gonna force people to take the mark?
This is why I do not believe the teachings of the SDA church on the mark.

They(Roman catholic church system) are the antichrist power that substitutes himself and puts himself in the place of God on earth. They are the ones Who have intended to change God‘s times and laws.Daniel 7:25 Please do a little research about the Roman catholic churches claim on changing the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday. They also have a specific quote that says “Sunday is their mark of authority“ among many many many other quotes from Catholic sources about them taking responsibility for changing the Sabbath day. Therefore that is the mark of the beast. Buying or selling will not be allowed by anyone who does not receive their mark or the image of the beast or the number of his name.

You have to make a distinction between Sunday worship and Sunday Blue law.
Sunday Blue Laws as I have demonstrated cannot be the Mark, its not logically practical.
Sunday worship might be viable. Here it might pan out that those who do not convert to Catholicm and partake in Sunday Sabbath will not be allowed to buy or sell.
If the Pope forces the whole world to convert to Catholicm then we got something. But this is not what SDA teaches. They are convinced that it is the Sunday Blue laws that is the mark. No.

Thank you so much for sharing!!I concur, there is no clear command in the times of the apostles as to what day should be kept as the Sabbath. But Paul states in Romans 14:5. For us to be convinced in our own mind. Jesus clarifies in Matt 5:27 that He did not come to do away with the law. The God of order is the same God yesterday today and forever, He never changes, so let each and every one of us be convinced in our own mind, own belief and faith what day we feel should be kept as the Sabbath, as long as it is done unto the Lord, For Gods glory. These days People have been so focused on debating which day to worship on, that they have forgotten the Lord of the Sabbath. They have forgotten JESUS who is the answer, the way the truth and the life. Let us continue to preach JESUS and more of JESUS today..🙏😊
don't just read a verse in the bible try reading the whole bible instead.........the bible says that the seventh day is the sabbath not what ever day you choose...
furthermore you can't just tell your boss what day you're going to take off....days do matter you know....
you can convince yourself in your own mind all you want that you don't work thursdays and see how long you'll last at your job.... the boss might excuse you for taking off saturdays or even sundays but surely not thursdays......he wouldn't understand a thursday weekly vacation..

@@minterbell your faith is not justified by mine, you can interpret according to your own understanding of the scriptures, so will I. My advice is for you to stay in prayer and let the Holy Spirit guide you and your faith, for now keep your judgements to yourself, God alone is judge.
Rom. 14 is about Christians having the choice between being a meat eater and a vegetarian, as well as which day they choose to fast on. There is nothing in the chapter that shows Paul saying Christians are free to worship God however they want whenever they want.

Daniel, how do I pray? How should I pray? I don’t just mean prayer for help or to have questions answered, but how do I pray on an everyday basis? I don’t want to just ask God for things or to do this or that. I just want to talk to Him, but I don’t know what to talk about. @@Slacker_Elizabeth7702 I do! I believe He’s listening for sure. I want to make sure that I’m not “babbling” or just saying filler things like how my day is going. I want to say something of meaning. I find things weekly to talk about, but when it’s on an everyday basis I feel like I’m just talking about maybe things that just don’t matter I.e. “what I did today”. I don’t want to offend His sovereignty with such small talk. But does it offend? I have no idea. Thank you so much for responding to my questions
@@JesusisKyrios7 ur ahead already! So many Christians aren’t even convinced that our Lord is listening or will answer their prayers. Praise the Lord for that understanding! I would follow pattern of scripture by first and foremost praising Him for Who He is and all He had done in ur life, in ur day, with ur loved ones, u can praise And thank Him for the Cross and recall times where He delivered you and just tell Him how u feel about Him. If u start there and u KNOW He is listening , u will start to get so excited about HIM and ur gonna find ur self saying “ thank u” over and over again! Trust me. Sorry it’s so long but yes! Before u realize it it’s 30 min to an hour. This is key, my prayer life changed drastically when Adonai showed me that He hears every word I say especially when I am talking TO HIM TOTALLY FOCUSED ON HIM, imaging His feet or Yeshua walking and i can see Him from a distance (but not His face) , just focused on Him and me. Then it becomes like the world doesn’t exist. That’s closesness with Christ and Daniel I would have never gotten there if I wasn’t convinced that my prayers weren’t hitting the ceiling. Ur blessed in that u already know He hears u AND is the rewarded of them that diligently seek Him!! Oh! I also read Him scripture like I pray some verses to Him like Psalms 63:1-4 my favorite. Jesus Christ did NOT abolish the Law of God!!! He tells us in the New Testament to keep the Ten Commandments and to love each other. Love this channel BUT this is not accurate. The “when” is an issue but the “how” we “observe” sabbath is worse. This is God’s day and we are not making it about God. We are supposed to keep it Holy but we are shopping and getting excited about who made the touchdown but barely say a peep in church- if we even go.
The Sabbath was not established under the law, it was established at creation “perpetually”. We are to honor the Lord when and how the Lord intended. The purpose of the law is yes, rest (which btw they went to synagogue on sabbath) but also to Honor God - the way God intended BEFORE the law was “perverted”. Bible says we should rest but also to “not pursue our own interests” on that day. The way “sabbath” is being celebrated today is on Sunday with a 90 min church service and then we do what we want. God is not happy with how we are handling this day. There are many scriptures - even in NT that support that we should continue sabbath and on Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. The biggest mistake gentile Christians make is disregarding the Old covenant - Yeshua came to fulfill the law. Re circumcision no the physical act is not required because we gentiles believers become “fellow citizens with Israel” upon belief - we are all Israel at belief whether naturally or engrafted. God’s word is not relegated to isolated scriptures - it comes together “precept upon precept line upon line”. The Lord has been dealing with me heavily on this and Israel at large, and where the Old covenant fits for the gentile believer. Pls see both OT and NT scriptures (below) along with Jim Staleys Identity Crisis in YT - these together helped me tremendously and I know the Lord sent all of it my way. I hadn’t even questioned any of this my whole life but Holy Spirit would not let me rest. The fact that this issue has come up a lot lately is God’s dealing with us.
In all of this let’s not forget that the Lord doesn’t just want us to rest our bodies but our burdens. He didn’t need physical rest , the Lord does not get weary. This is a gift TO us FOR us yet it’s honoring Him! Talk about a GOOD GOD!! Everyday we should be laying our burdens on Him. He wants to carry them. The word “rest” in scripture in the context of “those who are heavy laden I will give u you rest” is about putting all of ur burdens on Christ - if we aren’t doin this part but all of the other observances then we are not honoring Him any better than our family in the Old Covenant.

I have been battling with this one as theres been good arguments on both sides against and for the Sabbath. I am in a NG church and for 6 months joined a SDA church as well and believe we were led to as many make them out as a cult, but I have never seen a church so dedicated to study Gods word and giving you scripture and say let the Holy Sprit guide yoy. I know i am saved by grace alone not for obeying any law, and if i talk about the law i refer to the 10 commandments, as thats another subject on its own. But now that i am saved the law is written in my heart, its a guideline for my life. I just cant see and make sense why we would use the other 9, some as wordly guidelines example not to steal, and delete the Sabbath as no longer valid.

Did you know what was done with all the food that was brought to YHWH as offerings?
God gave it to the Levites as their wages, as their inheritance. Anything that was brought as offerings to God during the festivals was given over to Levites as their share of the inheritance, since they did not receive real-estate property of their own.
Some of the food and gifts offered to God was also distributed to the fatherless, widow and foreigner in the land during certain appointed times.
My point? There was a practical application to the festivals and offerings. God used the festivals to feed and cloth the needy and provide for His priests. That is beautiful.
Today there is no Levitical priests, yet I hope you realise you as part of the body of Christ being our High priest, you are given the role of priest (as the Levites)
Since the Levitical priesthood has been done away with today, why do you think God would do away with the Festival itself? Why would God take away a opportunity to help the needy, provide for widow and fatherless??
Jesus was a good example of doing good deeds for others on a Festival day (Especially the Sabbath)

Today as a follower of Christ we do not go and make offerings to God by Levitcal priests on a Festival, but we celebrate it by helping the needy, the widowless, the fatherless, spreading the Gospel to who ever needs to hear it.

Jesus commanded us love your neighbour as yourself. If you see a problem in observing God's festivals and going out with gifts, food or clothes on that day to help your neighbour, how can you claim you love your neighbour?
Should you go out doing these things, do not let anyone tell you the way you are celebrating the festival is wrong, you aught not give this, you aught not give that, you should include this ritual, you should include that ritual.
No! observe the Festival and do good as God puts in each one's heart to do.
I end with one question to you: why choose the World's appointed festival to do good but reject God's appointed festivals to do good?

... So what about the fact that Jesus kept the sabbath? Or how apostle Paul kept the Sabbath? Or how the disciples kept the Sabbath? True, it said to keep the Sabbath in the old testament, but the only reason certain laws such as being unable to eat pork is because Jesus specifically said that that law is no longer. He did not say that not having to keep the Sabbath is no longer necessary. The Sabbath is still a sign from God's people to God. The commandment is still in place. God still wants you to keep HIS Sabbath.

All of the 10 commandments were and are fulfilled in Christ for the New Testament believer. Both Jesus and the Apostles, John a& Paul in particular, give us several examples of such throughout Scripture. New Testament Scripture also describes how the Sabbath is fulfilled in Christ for New Testament believers. However, that distinction has not been made clear in many modern churches or denominations.
The truth is that no person can live a Christian life through human strength or determination. Rather, the Christian life is of Divine origin thus the Christian life can only be achieved by the indwelling Holy Spirit, living in us and working through us. As New Testament believers we are called to lay down our lives (human will, determination, desire, activity, & emotion) so that His Spirit might live in & through us. We "lay down" our lives through abiding in Him (the Holy Spirit of Christ), setting our eyes and hearts upon Him, and drawing divine strength from Him, especially in our moments of trial, temptation, or weakness, for "His strength is made perfect in (our) weakness".
The New Testament Sabbath is simply this: no longer must we strive to obey God's ordinances through our own strength, performance, ceremonies, or sacrifices. You see, it is impossible to obey out of human striving because God views our righteousness as filthy rags and our best efforts/deeds are but a stench in His nostrils. Rather, we now have a Divine Helper to carry us through every trial that we might face. It is He who makes obedience possible and gives us the strength to resist temptation & turn from sin, moment by moment & day by day.
That, my friends, is the spiritual essence of the New Testament Sabbath, and exactly what Jesus meant when He said that His burden is light & His yoke is easy. Our life hidden IN CHRIST is the Sabbath being fulfilled in our daily lives. Christ is our Sabbath Rest.

In this epistles of paul to the collossians he was writing to the new converts that their neighbours who are pagan gentiles do not judge them because now they eat clean food or not drunkards anymore or now celebrating the Holy Feast of the Lord or the new moon (feast ilof trumpets) or keeping the sabbaths as God ordained in order to honour the creator. These are the shadows of christ which he has fulfilled and are coming in the future which are shadows of him.

Sorry but there is a difference between the Old covenant vs new covenant and such a thing does exist.
The Old Covenant is the “working arrangement” that God had with Israel. He had chosen them for a special relationship that He did not have with any other group of people on earth. He took just a few patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob) and grew their descendants into a great nation and gave them a land (Canaan) and His law to live by (see Exodus 20 and following). The Israelites were to remain loyal to God, obeying Him and worshipping Him alone. If they did, He promised to bless them, and if they did not, He promised they would be chastened (see Deuteronomy 27-28). God established a sacrificial system that would allow them to be cleansed (temporarily) from their sins-but these sacrifices had to be repeated over and over. He ordained priests to represent the people before Him, as the people could never come directly into the presence of God. And even with all these accommodations, the nation as a whole was unfaithful and eventually fell under the judgment of God.
The New Covenant (or New Testament) is the promise that God makes with humanity that He will forgive sin and restore fellowship with those whose hearts are turned toward Him. Jesus Christ is the mediator of the New Covenant, and His death on the cross is the basis of the promise (Luke 22:20). The New Covenant was predicted while the Old Covenant was still in effect-the prophets Moses, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel all allude to the New Covenant.
We are no longer under the Law but under grace (Romans 6:14-15). The Old Covenant has served its purpose, and it has been replaced by “a better covenant” (Hebrews 7:22). “In fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises” (Hebrews 8:6). Under the New Covenant, we are given the opportunity to receive salvation as a free gift (Ephesians 2:8-9). Our responsibility is to exercise faith in Christ, the One who fulfilled the Law on our behalf and brought an end to the Law’s sacrifices through His own sacrificial death. Through the life-giving Holy Spirit who lives in all believers (Romans 8:9-11), we share in the inheritance of Christ and enjoy a permanent, unbroken relationship with God (Hebrews 9:15).

There should be no Christian who follows the old law of sin and death if you do then Christ doesn’t abide in you or thorough you. And also Jesus DID fulfill the law and the prophets every Christian should know this by now. Jesus Christ fulfilled the Law in at least two ways: as a teacher and as a doer. Thank you Daniel. I'm thankful you put out this video. I proselytize to the jehovah witnesses, and they are a hard core bunch. They don't believe that Jesus is who the Bible says He is. They judge others on holidays and the Sabbath. I pretty much do the Sabbath everyday because I'm dying if COPD, but I'm not afraid. I just want to get the word of the Lord out to as many jw's as possible.

You make some really good points and in the begging I nodded along and said Amen a few times. Like we should worship God on everyday and let's look at the example of the early Christian church. Some of texts you mention, that need to be read in context. One of the times Paul met the believers on the first day of the week was to pick up money and deliver it to Jerusalem. For me one text, more than any other show the custom of the early Christian Church, Acts 17:2. I also want to add that I do not want to shame any believer for what day they go to worship. I am glad that they are worshiping. Yes we have a new covenant, and it didn't happen at the cross but before IMHO, Jeremiah 31:31-34. I don't believe God's law was done away with, look at James 2:10-14. I won't to make it clear that keeping the law does not save us, Ephesians 2:8-10. However I do believe that is we love Jesus then we keep his law, not because it will save us, but because we love our savior, ! John 2:3-5. I also feel a need to say this. Look at what Jesus did for us. He came down and took the punishment we deserve, so that we have the eternal life that he deserves. Shouldn't we try our hardest to do whatever it is that he asks of us, when we look at all he has done for us. I want to close with this. I don't want to shame anyone, I do ask this though. Pray to God for wisdom and for the Holy Spirit to lead to what you to what God wants us to do and when you discover what that is to have the courage to obey God. I also want to add that IMHO if the early Christians were worshiping on the first day of the week it would have been addressed in the Jerusalem council in Acts 15. It wasn't addressed. I believe at that time that all Christians were worshiping on the seventh day of the week.

Thank you for sharing. Yes, it is all about Jesus; and because of His and God the Father's great love for mankind, They created the Sabbath for man's benefit (Genesis 2, Exodus 20, Mark 2). For only the Sabbath, that is the center of God's law (it identifies Him as the Creator God), shows to Whom one is loyal; and love is the only reason to keep it and God's law because Jesus said in John 14, "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
