Thanks, Peter. I would encourage everyone to join "SDAQ&A" on Facebook to watch the hundreds of interviews Peter has with many notable Adventist guests. For example, in 2020 he interviewed dozens of those who were at or who surrounded the Glacier View debate with Desmond Ford. He features guests both for and against Adventisms controversial doctrines. All Adventists should be aware of these controversial topics -- and arguments from both sides -- in their church.

I appreciate Test The Prophet's spirit and I wish all who have come to understand the truth in this matter would have such a sweet spirit, but unfortunately a lot of ex-sdas are bitter and angry because they were deceived. There needs to be a right spirit even though we are disappointed and upset to learn we have been deceived it doesn't help to go about it in the wrong way. We are to forgive and deal with the facts, accordingly, sharing truth without sharp jabs or being angry that doesn't help the truth to get to those who need it.

Isn’t it interesting how we can get so confused when we start studying the Bible for real? Now I’ve been led to believe that the attacks from the devil were for the opposite reason, maybe it was because The Adventist church was not the right church. I’ve recently been studying more, and praying more, and the devil attacks have resumed tenfold. God bless you in your search, I’m right there with you. Apparently Adventists fully understood Plagiarism - yet excuse EGW for doing just that -
From "Questions on the Sanctuary and on Ellen White":
    “A plagiarist is one who pretends to have written an original article, but who has borrowed it-perhaps STOLEN would be a more appropriate word-FROM ANOTHER PERSON. Some people who would think it A GREAT SIN to steal a bushel of apples or a dollar in money, have little hesitation to STEAL THE WRITTEN THOUGHTS AND EXPRESSIONS OF OTHERS and then palm them off as THEIR OWN. SUCH PERSONS NEED TO HAVE THEIR MORAL SENSES SHARPENED, so that they shall realize that it is as TRULY A THEFT to steal an article from a BOOK or PAPER and send it to the press as original, as it is to steal anything else.” {QSEW 65.6}
    * From Adventist Review and Herald Vol xxiv - Quote:"Plagiarism - This is a word used to signify 'LITERARY THEFT', or taking the production of another and passing them off as one's own... We are perfectly willing that pieces of the Review, or any of our books should be published to any extent, and all we ask is, that simple JUSTICE be done us, by DUE CREDIT BEING GIVEN." - Uriah Smith

In regards to the amount or what we eat having to do with the 10 commandments, 1 Timothy 4:1 starts with talking about doctrines of devils, and forbidding certain foods that should be received with Thanksgiving. I think it's more important that we feed the hungry, and refusing to help somebody when we are able to help them has a lot more to do with morals than having a cup of tea. Not to mention, Jesus ate fish. He preached about feeding the hungry, but I don't know any sermon about not putting salt on your food (if salt is a condiment)

@@matthewtoves8919 Close. The day after “The Great Disappointment” of October 22, 1844, Hiram Edson, while hiding in a field of corn shocks to avoid public humiliation, (conveniently) had a vision that the Millerites in fact had the day correct, but had the activity wrong: Jesus was not to come back to earth; instead He moved to the inner apartment of the Holy Sanctuary in heaven.
Edson communicated this to O. R. L. Crosier, who published it in his DayStar newsletter a couple years later. Young Ellen, around 1848, had a vision of her own, confirming Edson’s vision. People were grasping for some reason to explain their error, and the “Little Flock” was born.

The word translated in most Bibles in Matthew 16:18 is the word church but the original manuscripts contain the Koine Greek word Ekklessia that does not translate into church but rather into Congregation or Assembly. Church comes from kuriakon, kirche, kirk, cirice...to name a few root words from different languages. The concept of church is also different from the non-hierarchical, non-authoritarian and non capital-intensive Ekklesia/Assembly that we see in the New Testament after Pentecost. At one point he told a story about how Ellen wrote letters to a friend that gave evidence to her marital issues with James and then subsequently advised her friend, in a later letter, to burn the previous letters. This doctor included this story as an example of Ellen White's humanity and that she had her struggles in life, as we all do. All I could get out of the story was a sickening sense of her deceitfulness and desire to make sure nobody would ever witness the things about herself that she didn't want them to know. I thought I couldn't dislike her more, but after watching all five parts of this series you have so thoroughly presented, I now find her a thoroughly detestable figure.

I have watched this video because a friend I appreciate asked me to watch them.
I may be wrong about this but I can sense some
resentment on the part of the author.
I grew up as an SDA but was quite worldly minded and rebellious. When I was young EGW books were frequently used to smack church members on the head and point out their wrongs. Clearly this strategy would win her many enemies.
I never read her books for myself. Then I found a book in our library by Rene Noorbergen called EGW the Prophet of destiny where he mentioned how EGW was given a vision of the destruction of San Francisco in 1905 a few days before it happened.
Additionally, in that book he went over the biblical test of a true prophet, which she met.
The book made an impression on me, nevertheless I did not read her books very much, I continued my pursuit of pleasure and worldly ambition.
Years later when I was going through a very difficult time, the Holy Spirit spoke to me through a pastor who was preaching about how Jesus was the friend of young people, how he yearned to have a personal relationship with each of us. That was what I needed to hear during those dark days. By God’s providence I was led to study the gospels. I would read certain chapters in the gospels and then I would read the chapter of the Desire of Ages related to those Bible chapters. The Bible became alive to me. For the first time I began to see Jesus as a personal friend, full of grace and truth as John says. It was then that gradually my worldly heart was melted by the power of his love and His Spirit revealed to me the need of a savior. My sin and selfishness were revealed to me and I clearly understood that it was my sin that nailed Jesus to the cross.
I gave my heart to Jesus and surrendered my life to him. The result was receiving peace and joy I had never experienced!
No matter what was happening around me, my peace and joy could not be disturbed! I cannot explain the great joy and peace I had any other way but to say that Jesus was real to me and he was giving me His Holy Spirit. I had been born into the kingdom of heaven.
Since then, the writings of EGW have always been a source of
    comfort and direction.
I have always received a blessing when reading them in the light of God’s Word.
I would encourage anyone who watched this videos to be fair and test to see if EGW writings agree with the Holy Scriptures. Do not allow anybody to do the judging for you. The Holy Spirit is on your side.
John told us: Test the Spirits to see if they are from God.
Test them does not mean, see if the give credit to their sources, it means test to see if they agree with the Word of God, if they lead to Jesus and exalt Jesus, if they edify the church if they do not excuse sin. Judge her by the fruit of her life of service to God and man. That is what the Bible says constitutes a true prophet. Test the prophet with the tests the Bible lays out, not with non-biblical tests.

I can't thank you enough for this. I've been married to a multi-gen on both sides Adventist who fell away for many years and has been coming back to the "faith" over the last many years by watching Adventist pastors on youtube. But we don't go to any church (I was raised in the Mormon church by adult convert parents, but all of my family stopped going about the time I started college. I stopped on my own, grew far from God and came back to him through the Bible and consider myself a non-denominational Christian), and I don't allow my children to be taught any unique Adventist beliefs, except for my husband's insistence on strict Saturday Sabbath keeping. I thought our beliefs could live side by side until many things came to light to me over the last few months about his beliefs, as well as the fact that we have very little faith community life and our oldest kids are teens, and I want more for them. But obviously not Adventism. And for my husband, obviously not Christianity (can I put an lol here?).
Anyways, I started looking for sources several weeks ago, and I haven't been able to do anything but watch videos and read books about this since. I always knew, and told my husband, that much of his theology isn't Biblical, and also many of his ideas about other Christians and our beliefs are also incorrect, but I know you know that to say I HAD NO IDEA how deep and heretical and even, I'll say it, Satanic it all is would be the understatement of the year.
Anyways, many great sources, like Answering Adventism, which I LOVE, are a bit harsh perhaps, for total Ellen believers. So I got my husband to agree to watch some things with me last Saturday and I was going to show him one of AA's videos when I was led to your series instead. I had seen part 5 on the AA channel, but not 1-4, which are the ones we watched. I just knew that your calm, humble style would get through to him better at this time. I literally took us hours to get through parts 1-3, because he had to pause it every few minutes to reflexively defend Ellen and it led to quite a bit of spirited argument, much of which was me begging him just to be quiet and listen. But I will tell you, that here in part 4 there was hardly any pausing at all, and when it ended, he was literally speechless. He had literally never learned this before, and was clearly somewhat shocked by it. When he got his tongue back, he said he'd have to look into it more, and put up several weak arguments that I now realize are the indoctrination lines on the subject, and said he still thought her message was correct. BUT, I see that this video was the foot in the door! That little crack that I needed, to get him past his ingrained indoctrinated belief that he shouldn't even question the unquestionable voice of God. And now the door is open for me to present him with more. This is huge.
I also found a PDF of Steve Daily's Psychobiography of Ellen, which I had seen you recommend to another commenter, and could not do anything else until I finished reading it, once I had started. Super excellent read, and is available free on the web. I am still reeling from everything I am learning, and it just keeps going. I am praying hard that my husband will see the light one day, sooner than later. I just want to thank you for your great contribution to the cause, and congratulate you for having the courage and integrity to seek the truth and to follow it where it lead, no matter how hard it was. With my background in Mormonism, I know what that means.

From the April 2019 edition of Ministry Magazine:
"The Seventh-day Adventist Church is losing members at an alarming rate. Even though the evangelism in our churches is winning people, we lose about 49 of every 100 baptized. This hemorrhaging of our members cannot continue. It is expected to get worse, especially in countries where soul winning is difficult; and if it continues, entire conferences maybe closed for lack of members."
Think about that -- 49%. That's essentially half of all members leaving.

Oh, wow! So indepth; I love it! I enjoyed listening to this vid - my first. You bet, I'll be checking out the previous ones - and follow ups. I like the tonal quality of your voice, which I find works perfectly with your work here 👍🏾.
I have read some of EGW'S work; about the claims of plagiarism - and those refuting it, for obvious reasons - and the influence she's had on Her church, from its beginning till now. She struck me as a master manipulator (mistress, in that case 😁), dictatorial, and controlling, and I likened her to Hitler, whose modus operandi was fear through brainwashing, violence, etc. EGW'S MO was directly opposite, in relation to violence; she used the "love of God," but FEAR was the foundation: Fear of God, based on people's ignorance and inability to understand the Word of God, at that time - and even now for those who have been indoctrinated/brainwashed by her teachings and suckered into Adventism.
This vid, with its well researched content - I mean, you got the "thumbs up " from Peter 😃 - has served to deepen my conviction. It has also emboldened me into posting on Adventism on my Fb page, where it seemed, I've started a flurry of comments and questions from an Adventist friend - in private, of course, when I posted a conversation I'd overheard coming from an Adventist regarding Christmas, and how God was "against" the putting up of Christmas trees - and that it was "in the Bible!" I did it for pure amusement but it has developed into a smoldering fire, when in subsequent discussions, he alluded to her being the "lesser light," and that he, "hopes that the Holy Spirit will lead me to the Truth and that when I see it, I will accept it!" Oh, boy! That smoldering fire has developed into a full blown flame right now 😃....When and if I do quote you - as I probably will - be sure that I'll give due credit 😆. Thanks for this addition to my current arsenal! 🤣...Blessings! 🙏🏾

45:00m it appears that Ellen used a dowsing technique - perhaps better than my own. But for example, twice within a span of 5 minutes I went from a grand question of great importance to finding the exact text I needed in the Bible. And this was in fact prophetic and delivered me from the random void of impending destruction ("scheduled entropy") just in time, and literally by divine intervention. And have come to understand that gift quite well because I am a competent theorist in quantum intelligence. I am also able to very very competently dowse books and know what I will see and understand in detail and depth, literally what I will read on a given page - before I open the book. Maybe I should write a book and title it "Call me Ellen?" Fortune cookies time after a meal at the buffet is always fun. Parking spaces - if I'm not too distracted - is 100% "that car, in the next minute." Seriously. This is probably quite normal for someone with some talent and quite a lot of study and practice. And need. Faith is also a given, that God and his emanations literally exist. Christianity is not the first to believe this wholly. What I describe is a minor miracle of time travel and entanglement - it's really not unusual. In fact it is the default, operating continually under the layers of consciousness. It's how everything works - you know, like the Gospel of John 1:1. The Purpose of God in the world manifesting through the Logos, at least at the greater end, is superior to any other form of divination. This is the comprehension of God speaking.
But this leaves the controversy - doesn't it? As these books and this talent and skill is not as claimed to the rank and file. It is, you must admit, quite a clever deception - and I am wondering about whether it was "authorized" or not for the greatness that came from it (glory of the fruit)? I don't know the answer - but I think that's the right question here. I believe in greater and lesser gifts and their expression and glory & purpose. Ellen evidently did too.
    Here come the judges.

I know this video is about 2years old, but 2 points of contention for me that I want to share.
First I grew up in a colporteur/literature evangelist household. The amount of testimonials from men women boys and girls coming into the seventh Day Adventist faith, by the evangelism done by my household is more than I can count. Do you think those personal testimonies contradicts egw status as a prophet in any way?
Second question. Can a church love God and bear a false prophet simultaneously?
My biblical reference is revelation 2:20.
When I think of the evidence of egw as a false prophet I think of the above verse in Revelation referencing Jezebel the false prophet.

Your videos are thorough. I don’t know how to label myself right now as anything other than an Adventist in doctrine, but not in organization/culture (I have not attended a church building for years and, as of late, have been attending a non-denominational church). Allowing myself to even click on videos like this kind of scares me, as one year ago I would have avoided these videos at all costs, not allowing even a sliver of doubt in EGW or Adventism to be introduced into my head, for fear of turning against God and being lost. But, as I journey through my adult years, I have experienced many emotional and spiritual pains and have realized the importance of truly knowing my faith for myself. So, I’m researching. A LOT. So much so, that it has taken up the majority of the past few days. I barely have any attention span for videos of this length, but I have been listening pretty intently all the way through this series so far. One question arises in my mind more boldly than others as I listen, and I would really appreciate it if you could give me your answer:
On the subject of plagiarism, we can see that Ellen in fact did pull ideas from other sources that were in print before her books were. That is becoming more clear to me. However, your immediate conclusion is that, in light of this, she is a liar and someone with malicious intent. My question is, why isn’t it considered that perhaps her inspiration from the Holy Spirit WAS finding the gems of truth in all the muddy water surrounding Adventism, and have any of the accounts of people on the receiving ends of her prophetic letters (where she says she was able to hear their dinner table conversations) been found/looked into to see if she indeed heard what was being said?
I suppose that is two questions and I don’t have the time to look over my comment for any errors in thought process as my violin student just walked in, but I appreciate your time and I look forward to finishing this series.

      Hi Emily,
Thanks for dropping by and leaving your message. I completely relate to what you have said about realizing the importance of truly knowing one’s faith for themselves. This is part of the reason I began my own studies, and this channel is slowly catching up to what I have discovered. I know some of these early videos could be finessed more in argumentation, and certainly I do not claim to be omniscient. Trust me, it was truly difficult to consider Ellen may not be who she claimed to be just as difficult as it was you to click on this video.
As to your question “why isn’t it considered that perhaps her inspiration from the Holy Spirit WAS finding the gems of truth in all the muddy water surrounding Adventism, and have any of the accounts of people on the receiving ends of her prophetic letters (where she says she was able to hear their dinner table conversations) been found/looked into to see if she indeed heard what was being said?”
      1. I believe one must remember the framework for what she claimed. She was low educated; she was injured; she had many visions and dreams that unlocked the scriptures for her. She claimed the Holy Spirit helped her in writing her books. She commanded that people respect her, purchase her books, and obey the light she was given. She, as a woman in the 19th century had no respect and was in no place to write what she did. So at the fundamentals, these are grandiose claims. I see you play violin. Imagine a young person presents an orchestral score and claims to have generated it with the help from heaven. Then upon closer inspection you find Shostakovitch, Tchaikovsky, and perhaps Mussorgsky within the score. Does it make it more concerning if this young composer claims to have had supernatural help in this feat, or if they are a professional that claims to be using motives from other composers to write their symphony? Could someone use another's material to pretend to be someone they are not?
Now in regards to the gems of truth argument. She did not publicly claim that she gathered gems of truth from other authors to use in her books. If you know of otherwise, please let me know. When she used that phrase, it was in reference to the lost doctrines that she stated were now being rescued and being returned to the church. I will have a video on “gems” at a later date. The example in this video regarding gems of truth she did not want people to know she was using, was published after her death by her son. As to whether the Holy Spirit told her to look in all these books is anyone’s guess. But to see more of the jigsaw and how the books were made does no harm.
      2. As to what she heard/saw around the dinner table I do not know if anyone verified these. To me personally, she would have had to hear something quite specific, but again, angels evil or holy could also tell someone these things. Clairvoyance was very common during this time period.
I hope that has helped some. I will illustrate this better when the time comes. I am curious your thoughts on my 5th video as I think it illustrates well how she came up with her “testimonies”.
P.S. You play the violin well.

Who cares if Ellen G White was or was not a prophet the real issue is this: is the true Sabbath The 7th Day or the 1st Day? What does the Sabbath Commandment actually say from the Biblical texts? If the Bible says the 7th Day is the Sabbath then the Adventists are correct if the Commandment says the 1st Day is the Sabbath then the Catholic Church is right. So the Bible says which? I know the answer do you? If you know do you still support the Catholic sabbath? If you don’t then why do you attend a non Catholic Church on the Catholic sabbath, (Sunday)???

The Sabbath is a red herring. It has nothing to do with Ellen Whites validity. If you want to claim Ellen was shown the 4th commandment in vision you run into further problems. Look at the end of my presentation on Answering Adventism.

The questions of inspiration, infallibility, and authority ***must be addressed in the light of known literary borrowing.*** Space permits us to deal with these three areas only as they relate to Ellen White's use of sources. Following are some of the conclusions that are beginning to come into focus:
    1. Inspiration is not be equated with originality.
    2. Inspiration does not involve the dictation of divinely chosen words.
    3. Inspiration is not diminished by the use of uninspired sources.
    4. Inspiration is affected by outside human influences.
    5. Inspiration goes beyond what has been presented in vision, and sometimes stands independent of visions.
    6. Inspiration provides the narrative for those portions of visions that were symbolic or that lacked a narrative.
    7. Inspiration must include divine guidance in the selection of sources.
***(Do you disagree with these 7 points? Why?)***
The question of infallibility versus fallibility in the inspired writings hinges upon one's concept of inspiration. If one is firmly convinced that the very words of God were dictated to the prophet, then the writings must be infallible because God never makes a mistake in what He says.
Ellen White avoids making such claims. "In regard to infallibility, I never claimed it; God alone is infallible. His word is true, and in Him is no variableness, or shadow of turning."-Selected Messages, book 1, p. 37.

Frazier, I see once again you are copy/pasting an article written to Adventist pastors by the legal counsel of the Adventist Church - Warren Johns. This is the same attorney from the General Conference who hired attorney Vincent Ramik to write his report in 1982 in response to The White Lie by Walter Rea that I covered in part 3. Of course, the questions that initially come to mind based on his 7 points are:
*I.* If Warren Johns believes those 7 points, why did he commission Vincent Ramik (to likely the tune of around ~$90,000 USD given the hours Ramik claims to have spent and the going rate of an attorney) to argue she did not commit plagiarism? If it is not an issue, because the Adventist church claims inspiration allows someone claiming to be a prophet free access to copy/steal whatever they want, why pay the legal fees? Why not utilize that money somewhere else? Why is this the chief defense on the White Estate's website?
*II.* Why did the General Conference commission the Veltman Report if plagiarism is not an issue? Why pay Veltman and his team for 8 years (likely $1,000,000 or more) using conference money to investigate her plagiarism if it is not an issue? Was it all for show? Were they hoping to find out that Rea was wrong?
*III.* The White Estate makes the case that she admitted she used other’s writings (implying it would be wrong not to). They make the case she did not plagiarize by listing the Ramik Report (implying it would be wrong if she plagiarized). Nichol has several chapters in his book attempting to defend EGW against plagiarism, even saying the extensive copying from Sketches from the Life of Paul was justifiable because she recommended book at one point that she took from without quoting (this also implies that if she does not recommend a book she plagiarizes that this would be wrong). I have several Adventist documents from the 1800s that callout plagiarism and call it a sin at the same time EGW was plagiarizing! (If you watched part3&4 you would have seen this) As I demonstrated in part 3 the trustees have been trying to show that she was not a copyist since the 1860s. However, now that it cannot be denied any longer they are now switching their game up and saying … well we know she copied, but now we can make it sound as though it is perfectly justified by the Bible and wind up back with a respectable prophet! Just because the Bible mentions the gift of prophecy and then Ellen White comes along and claims to hold this gift, does not automatically mean she is a true prophet. Any author can write about Christ and affect large change in the world (bear fruit). I want to see something that cannot be from a mere author writing about Christ. But what I see is a woman who has formed an empire from other authors and has lied about it. The Bible has strong words to say about those who claim false visions and I would argue this video shows two of these.
*IV.* If inspiration is so “misunderstood” as the church claims today, now that her sources have been found out, *who* set Adventists up for this misunderstanding? It couldn’t possibly be the one who wrote these books could it?
“Early in my public labors I was bidden by the Lord, "Write, write the things that are revealed to you." At the time this message came to me, I could not hold my hand steady. My physical condition made it impossible for me to write. But again Came the word, "Write the things that are revealed to you." I obeyed; and as the result it was not long before I could write page after page with comparative ease. Who told me what to write? Who steadied my right hand, and made it possible for me to use a pen ? - It was the Lord. When we come into right relation with him, and give ourselves wholly to him, we shall see the miracle-working power of God in word and deed.” (RH 6/14/1906)
“The Holy Ghost is the Author of the Scriptures and of the spirit of prophecy.” (July 2, 1900)
"These books, giving the instruction that the Lord has given me during the last sixty years, contain light from heaven, and will bear the test of investigation." (Selected Messages, vol. 1, p. 35, 1906)
"I am thankful that the instruction contained in my books establishes present truth for this time. These books were written under the demonstration of the Holy Spirit." (Letter 50, 1906)
"These books contain clear, straight, unalterable truth and they should certainly be appreciated. The instruction they contain is not of human production." (Letter H-339, 1904)
"How many have read carefully Patriarchs and Prophets, The Great Controversy, and The Desire of Ages? I wish all to understand that my confidence in the light that God has given stands firm, because I know that the Holy Spirit's power magnified the truth, and made it honorable, saying: 'This is the way, walk ye in it.' In my books, the truth is stated, barricaded by a 'Thus saith the Lord.' The Holy Spirit traced these truths upon my heart and mind as indelibly as the law was traced by the finger of God, upon the tables of stone..." (Letter 90, 1906)
      -----------------------
Given that you have mentioned before that her divine inspiration is the key point here, then I would say before we can discuss the semantics of inspiration that Warren Johns writes about, you need to first:
*1.* Provide from the Bible (show me specific verses) that prove Ellen White was an inspired prophet. I have also asked you before to give me a vision of Ellen's that has come true. You have been unable to provide this. Until this happens, it is obvious based on this video where her ideas came from.
*2.* In regards to infallibility, can you tell me one thing that Ellen White has instructed that has been wrong?

      1. I wanted to know your disagreement with those 7 points, however, you've introduced more questions based on your research in objection to EGW and those that defend her. Fair, but not my intent for the question. I didn't see in your comment a Biblical basis for rejecting these 7 points regarding inspiration. ***Is not the Bible our ultimate rule and guide (Prov. 3:5-6)?*** Does this mean that we avoid close examination? Absolutely not. I asked about these 7 points in particular. Can you find a Biblical basis for rejecting these 7 points?

      2. 101 Questions on the Sanctuary and on Ellen White has much info. regarding EGW (sections include the following: The Plagiarism Charge
, Copyright Laws and Plagiarism A Century Ago, Why Quotation Marks Were Omitted, Why Credit Lines Were Included, Was Ellen White Deceptive?, “The Words...Are My Own”, Why Ellen White Borrowed From Others, Ellen White Acknowledges Her Literary Borrowing, Borrowing from Uriah Smith on the Sanctuary, Examples of Word for Word Copying, Criteria of Dependence, W. C. White’s Integrity, and plenty more). Have you read and researched these?
At best, you have a view and those who defend EGW have theirs and both sides have mountains of "research" and "evidence" to support their case. Which brings me back to point #1 - Can you reject EGW from the Bible? ***Aren't we to test what is true from God's Word (1 Thess. **5:21**)?***

      3. "It is a fact that Ellen White did use the works of others to some extent while engaged in her writing, but there is no evidence of intention to deceive on her part, nor is there evidence that any other author was ever deprived of his legitimate benefits because of her activities. No publisher or author in any land has ever brought or threatened to bring suit against Ellen White on the ground that the rights of publishers or authors had been infringed upon. (See Brief Statements Regarding the Writings of Ellen G. White)"
This quote is taken from Section G of the book mentioned in #2 under the heading Ellen White as a Writer - The Plagiarism Charge. Does this mean anything to you? Was there an actual suit brought against EGW? Honest question...you've read more in this regard than I have at this point...

      4. Finally, regarding the questions you asked me at the end - the first one needs to be answered in your personal study. To start, begin with the SDA Fundamental Belief regarding EGW/the gift of prophecy/the remnant church. ***Attend to it the same way you'd present these videos.*** I believe EGW fits what the belief says based on what the Bible teaches.
Regarding EGW visions, I'm still researching them myself, I will share my findings as soon as I can. I have not forgotten. - UPDATE - there is a book that lists entitled The Great Visions of Ellen G. White in pdf form. The author has chosen 10 of her visions to focus on. I point you to that resource as I review it myself. Regardless of your conclusion, it all points back to point #1...whether or not the Bible is the ultimate rule and guide for conclusions about spiritual things.
You disagree that she was inspired of God b/c you can point to someone else saying what she said. It makes sense to me that her writings would have connection to others that came before her since her education was stunted (at least to some degree) by an injury she suffered. Wouldn’t that factor into how she read/comprehended info.? Even if it doesn’t for you personally, I go back to the main point (and a video that I’m waiting to see from you) what does God have to say about her?
Anyone can make a case for or against her (with all the evidence they want) - ***but shouldn’t we depend on what God says through His word? Doesn’t He have the final say?*** With regarding to infallibility, I won't say that I completely agree with "everything" that she's written - and the disagreements are based on changing time/culture. What she wrote "back then" may not apply "today." But, from what I have read of her I agree with. I haven't come across anything that I have read that I would count as "wrong."
