Yes you could certainly use Black Templar contrast as well if you like. I prefer the matte black look. The contrast gives It a bit more shine and a different tone. But whatever look you’re going for!
nice guide for painting black armor. Im new to this hobby and sorry if this question sounds a little dumb but do i have to use the exact same colour (german grey)? Or can i for example use the game colour Heavy Charcoal?

Any color will do. The colors I reference are just the ones I use. :) it’s your world paint It how you like It! Welcome to the hobby
