    I love the vid!! My Catachan Veterans thank you. like using agrax earthshade on earthtone fabrics to shade. I find the overall temperature of the colours looks more organic.

    Lovely tutorial! As I said before, modern camo patterns would be a great choice for tutorials. Russian digiflora is my favorite, needed for all modern games that use russians as enemies lol

      Thanks a lot buddy, I really appreciate it 🙌 yeah I'll definitely look at modern painting tutorials in the future ... I've seen a nice range of 20mm ones I want to try actually 😆

    Thoroughly enjoyed watching this one and the other Gringo40 Nam miniatures. With the upcoming relaease of the new Nam68 ruleset from Plastic Soldier Comany penned by the man Warwick Kinrade. Im looking at the Rubicon miniatures for the main forces and then using a combination from Empress and Gringo 40s for Spec ops. Hope you do a bit more on nam miniatures.

    They look great! A couple of questions:
    -How did you achieve the bases? Your jungle bases look great!
    -What bases are you using? Been trying to find flat bases like that for my modern stuff, but the only thing I could find similar are Bolt Action bases but it's not economical atm to just buy the bases.
    Great tutorial, thank you for all of these

      @paintingpanzers  11 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks a lot mate, that really means so much 🙌
      OK so I actually use Warlord Games Bolt Action bases 😅 in terms of how I actually did the bases, ill have a tutorial out soon but I do have a Jungle video tutorial out which is pretty much exactly what I did. The only difference was that I added a Vietnam pigment to the ground which just made it more red 🤭

    • @BOOMSHOTKPOW
      @BOOMSHOTKPOW 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@paintingpanzers Thanks a million for the quick response. Off to buy BA bases I guess 😅 Keep em coming for as long as you can. All the best to you!
      P.S. If you could do as many "modern" projects, specifically camo (another commenter mentioned Russian Digi-Flora I believe, stuff like that), that would be the absolute best 😭

    • @paintingpanzers
      @paintingpanzers  11 месяцев назад +1

      @@paintingpanzers I'm sure whatever you have to teach can be upscaled to 28mm which is my go to scale for Modern stuff. Mayhaps you can mention how to upscale in an upcoming video! Regardless, it will be watched

    My 3rd time watching. I'm getting there slowly, but surely. Which video contains your tutorial on how you paint skin? I'd love to see if I could recreate that look. 🙂

    • @paintingpanzers
      @paintingpanzers  10 месяцев назад

      Oh wow, thanks so much for supporting the video! I believe my 28mm Splinter tutorial covered how I paint skin. I'll actually be uploading a skin painting tutorial sometime in Jan as my technique has changed slightly. I'm still not great at Painting skin so I didn't want to make a full guide without it being decent 😆

    sider were canvas, with a diagonal strip if canvas ribbon across the ankle area. later canvas was replaced with all synth uppers,

    Wonderful video! I look forward to going through your other videos. Thank you for providing the recipe in Key Moments. I've never seen anyone do that before. Brilliant. I hope this isn't a pain in the butt...For paint colors, you gave the Vallejo paint name AND numeric code. Awesome! You didn't do that for the AK Interactive Brown Filter, unfortunately. I wanted to price a bottle, but AK has several brown filters. Do you remember the exact product you used? Maybe you can treat Filters and washes like paint colors by providing model numbers in the future?
    It's incredible how many "how to paint camo" videos are videos using Warhammer minis or robots or anything OTHER than real human beings in 28mm. It makes a big difference, I believe. You can't paint camo incorrectly* on a Space Marine because it's pure fantasy to begin with...but Tiger Stripe camo DOES exist in the real world for humans and there are 1,000 ways you can screw it up. I hope you do well with your channel. I know I'll be visiting regularly now that I can get tutorials and uniform recipes for real modern/ultramodern soldiers. Thank you, very much.
    *Yes, I know you technically can paint camo incorrectly on a Space Marine...I just meant that colors and patterns can be anything, basically, because Space Marines don't exist.

      @paintingpanzers  Год назад +1

      WOW, thank you for your honest feedback! I truly appreciate the lovely words and your support 🙌 I believe the AK filter is now out of production but you might find it if you're lucky. It was part of the AK Uniform filter set. I'm out at the moment so I'll try find the number once im home 😊
      I truly hope you keep enjoying my tutorials as I have plenty more planned ☺️
      I completely understand what you mean about the Warhammer stuff too 🤣

      @@paintingpanzersWas that a set of 3 filters? I see there is a product still available in some online shops called the Uniform Definition Filter Enamel Paint Set. I've never worked with enamels before. I just got involved with this hobby 2 years ago. Is there anything I should know about working with enamels compared to acrylics? Thanks. I joined the Patreon too. :-)

    • @paintingpanzers
      @paintingpanzers  Год назад

      @@alb639 that definitely sounds like the set but it shouldn't be an enamel filter. The set you want is AK-3008 Uniform Definition Filter Set and it should be acrylic :) If you use enamel washes, be sure to give your model a coat of gloss varnish first as it'll protect the paint from the enamel wash :)
      Oh wow, thank you so much for joining my Patreon, it really means a lot!! :D
