  • Join Andrew as he shows off Fuji Q Highland. This park is known for pretty views and horrible operations on their major rides. They also have a pretty famous haunted walk through hospital. Their major roller coasters are Dodonpa, Eejanaika, Fujiyama, Takabisha

    Next year I'm gonna go to Fuji Q Highland while I'm visiting Japan, hopefully. From what I can see, the park has some pretty decent coaster and a couple of good flat rides. I could spend about four hours in the park. The Windjammer that use to be at Knott's from 1997 and 2001 was made by TOGO and it was painful. Fujiyama seems like a smooth coaster and Takabisha looks like a great coaster that could ride and never get tired of. Great review and cool view of Mt. Fuji!

    I just went here a couple days ago and the lines were incredibly short the most we waited was less then 10 minutes no fast passes. We did go on a weekday not sure if that had anything to do with it. But we had tons of fun definitely recommend it if you are in the area.

    Great Video! I wanna go there on October, did you use Qpack bus also for the ticket? and how much does it cost (yen)? Thanks!

    Great video and thanks for the Fastpass info. I'm willing to go back to this park now! Not sure why you think that Intiman launch coasters are more intense than S&S's Dodonpa. 0 to 107mph in under 2 seconds?? That's double the intensity of TTDragster. Dodonpa is a truly incredible ride!!

    Well, this definitely helpful for a (very unlikely, yet incredibly hopeful) international theme park tour with my friend in a few years.

    Wtf the longest line I ever had at Fuji q was 1 hour 30 for eejanaika. I went every year for 8 years.
    Why do foreigners have such bad wait times when they visit

    Amazing! I would love to visit this park! My biggest issue would be speaking the language. I'd be afraid of getting lost, or saying the wrong thing. Lol.

      +TheManWhoLoveThemeParks! It wasn't a problem at all. Nearly everything was in English and most employees spoke English as well.

    • @A_A610
      @A_A610 6 лет назад

      Up to 5 tickets per person per transaction, though you can return to buy more if they're still available (they go within a couple minutes of opening on busier days).

    Yeah, without fastpasses it's pointless to go. Either buy them online beforehand or arrive by 8-9am and sprint to the booth.
    We once arrived by 10am and managed to ride all the main rides without fastpasses just by queueing, finished it just right about 7pm before closing. It's annoying and tiresome, but after you ride the attraction you like forget about the queue because the ride was so awesome. I still wish the park was managed like parks in usa do, sigh. Japanese people are just brought up since childhood to strictly obey every rule, so you can't change that mentality. They will smile, but will make you do what they want and won't start anything until you do.

    Wait so around 10€ for that fast pass (one person -whole day)?

      10 for 1 coaster 1 ride

    • @HaohmaruHL
      @HaohmaruHL 7 лет назад

      Usually it's 1000 yen for one ride to ride once. But during holidays like infamous Golden Week fastpasses cost 2500yen each. This, or stand in a 3-4 hour line.

    Did he just say the fastest acceleration in the world isn't as intense as Dragster?

    • @RnRAndrew
      @RnRAndrew 8 лет назад

      +Coaster Rider I did. I'm just going by the stats that they say, and what I've felt on Dragster and such. Could be because this launch is inside so you don't have as much wind or reference points for the speed. And like I said in the video Dragster maintains the intensity vs this.

      Andrew H that's understandable. There's not s large amount of reviews for dodonpa for me to really understand to be honest

    • @LucasBradley
      @LucasBradley 7 лет назад

      Stormrunner at Hershey is the most intense launch I've been on. Pretty much all you hear is just the "Get ready, here we go.", and the next thing you know, you're dropping down that huge hill.

    • @nahimnotreal2544
      @nahimnotreal2544 5 лет назад

      Big no from me. Dondonpa is still the scariest ride I’ve been on from the launch. It hits you every time. You could marathon it 10 time and probably still be intimidated by the launch. It’s legitimately stressful it’s that forceful

  • @jeadventurous5497

    Fun fact: no one is using the single riders lane, even on busy days. Therefore you don't need to get fast lane passes. Save yourself some money and just go on the rides alone. The single riders lane is way more faster than the regular line and my longest time waiting was around 10 minutes. Not every rollercoaster has a single riders lane, but a few of them has one and it saves you hours of waiting time. I loved the park and I can't wait to go back. Personally I think this is one of the best parks in the world. The lockers at each of the attractions are great and they should have this in every park around the world. And it's true what they say about the waiting times for attractions that don't get a lot of visitors, you are still waiting for 10-20 minutes even when there's no line at all.
