  • Just to clarify for those who actually care abut fitment numbers and read the description! The spacing from the left side of the car to the right side seems to be different... as much as 10 to 15mm difference. the passenger side sits farther out than the driver side does. so we had to add additional spacers to the driver side to try to even out the fitments. i haven't seen any other videos about this problem and i don't know if its every car or just ours but our car drove perfectly fine afterwords... Very interesting issue and we have yet to solve it completely.
    Wheel specs:
    Fifteen52 turbomac, 18x8.5 +30
    Spacers:
    Driver side front- 32.5mm
    Driver side rear- 50mm
    passenger front- 30mm
    passenger side rear- 32.5mm

    Let's go! I've been waiting on good GRC aftermarket content. Finally I can see these bad boys making 500+HP like their Yaris counterparts. Can't wait for the intercooler and stand alone tune 😤

    You issue with the spacers is very very simple...
    Your car was in a wreck by the 1st owner, on the driver side, which shoved everything over to the passenger side.
    Ok, 2nd guess... the wheels you put on there are all over the place with offsets, good luck on doing any kind of rotation.
    Ok, 3rd guess... that car has had so much force put it in during drifting that the entire front subframe AND rear subframe has shifted to the passenger side. You need to unbolt the subframes, readjust them back to center, then retorque them.

    Nice choice for wheels! What’s your secret for sliding the GRC? I’ve tried a few time and just get a ton of understeer. Do you put in Expert mode or hold the traction button down longer? Loving the content 😁

      So for drifting in the dry I run track mode and hold traction till everything turns off. And it’s all about weight transfer and commitment.
      For wet I use 30:70 mode and turn all the traction stuff off

    That seems like a much harder way to use spacers. I added a front 15mm billet aluminum spacer with studs to my OEM wheels and they worked perfectly. On the rear I used a 25mm as I removed the OEM 10mm spacer because I didn't want to stack spacers. They fit like a charm. That was weird to see the 2 sides looked different. Did you ever figure that out?

    Not 💯 but spacers are only supposed to be used in moderation. This might be a bit much.

    I am looking to mount 17" wheels with same offset (+30), though I am now concerned that the spacers may be an issue since we are not sure if all GRC's face the same exact measurement issue.
    Do you know if these spacers could be custom ordered somewhere to exact measurement for each hub?

    • @andrewmerrick601
      @andrewmerrick601 10 месяцев назад

      Also, how did you confirm exact offset after mounting? rim to fender top, or front?

      @NemtecRacing  17 дней назад +1
