15 MIN ROCK HARD ABS WORKOUT | Core Strength at Home - Caroline Girvan

  • My abs and core feel rock solid after this quick routine! 15 minutes ab and core workout to target all muscles of the abs and to strengthen your core!
    A perfect finisher after any workout, particularly strength and cardio and great for those active rest days too combined with some cardio if you are being active!
    The timer is on for 45 seconds continuously with no specific rest period, however it may take a couple of seconds to get into position for next exercise.
    All you need is your mat!

    STRAIGHT LEG BICYCLE
    3 POINT HIGHER CRUNCH
    TOE REACH TO HOLLOW
    ELBOWS TUCK TO FLUTTER KICKS x 4
    TOE TAP TO EXTENSION
    REVERSE CRUNCH
    V SIT TUCK TO EXTEND
    STRAIGHT LEG FLUTTER
    TUCK TO LEG OPENER
    PLANK LADDER
    PLANK HOVER W/ 2 POINT TAP
    PLANK HOVER W/ 2 POINT TAP (switch)
    PLANK DOG TO TUCK
    PLANK DOG TO TUCK (switch)
    SIDE PLANK W/ FOOT REACH

    This is my short and simple ab and core routine of today along with a stretch. I will link my stretch routine below as this is the typical routine I perform every so often!

    Honestly caroline, I have shifted completely from other ab channels to yours. I love that you don't ramble on and on, and go straight to the workouts. I love that your workouts are like ACTUALLY hard and not just hard for the beginners. I started out doing your workouts, now I do them with 5 KG dumbells and my abs literally thank me everyday. I lost around 4 KGs and my belly has flattened to a palpable degree. Most importantly look forward ro working out. I enjoy every second of these workouts and time just whizzes by. Huge love from India :))

    When I saw “no rest” I was afraid I wouldn’t make it till the end! But I persisted and made it through. This old gal had to do a few modifications but I finished. I love your workouts!

      Hi! Is this also for men? I am a man and did this with my mother-in-law but it was brutal! I could not even last 7 minutes and completely gave up 😟 My MIL did this full lesson powerfully! She have those rock hard abs in the front stomach and the rock hard obliques in the stomach sides also. I feel really low and defeated.

    Great add on workout. I love your abs workout. I had done most of your abs workout, , normally as add on after the epic workout. I can really feel the abs burn... Thanks Caroline, your workouts really help me in my fitness journey to become stronger not only physically but mentally too.     As if doing Day 17 wasn't hard enough, I couldn't resist the lure of Caroline's beautiful abs so I ended up doing this routine straight after.
    I think the best word to describe this workout is OUCH! 🔥 My abs were screaming for mercy just a few minutes in; I had to stop several times and modify a few of the exercises to get through the whole 15 minutes. I dream of one day being able to complete the whole routine without stopping...

    I want the confidence of Winston.
    What I like about Caroline is that she does not give in to click-baity title like putting the number of (high) calories we can lose or having abs in x days or slimming our arms/thighs in x weeks, because it will be unrealistic and subject of to disappointments and unmet expectations (and obviously it will take more than the exercises to get those results). But then, she does not have to resolve to that as the hook is Caroline herself and her quality workouts. Can you tell I love her??? I really do!

      Because you can't do it properly that's why your arm hurts
      In starting it happens to me but when I do it properly my abs hurt

    God bless you Caroline, you read our minds. The covid15 pounds have affected both me and my dog, winston looks in shape though, will need to get the dog started on this workout too 😂 Caroline, in January I'll have access to the gym, I know you target the home workout crowd but would you be down to share a video or notes on how to use gym equipment effectively, I can up the weights and not sacrifice form as much I hope. Would be cool to see how you would do a gym workout routine. I don't want you to loose viewers as a result so maybe a pdf with photos could help. Not sure, but I like your perspective over all the other trainers on RUclips. Alternatively, some suggest gym equipment makes us reliant and we loose form and balance as a result so some believe good old bare bones bars and freehand weights are the way to go. I'm undecided, do you fall under one camp more strongly. We also have TRx for core work which I may begin. No one has done a Turkish get up and when I look this exercise up it is often touted as the most effective one so I think we really have enriched and broadened our experience working out with you, thank you 😊
