Fun fact: You are absolutely right and at the same time completely wrong. In fact the 3ed Charging was the fastest and the 1st the slowest when it comes to average kWh per h (Bjørn will enjoy this). The max energy content at charging #3 was about 5% higher, so 5 to 90 % was 2,55kWh more that at the first try. Would be interesting what you did so that the Max Energy Content grew that much in such a short time!
Yup, saw it too afterwards and when you make it 5% faster its around the same time as #1(atleast around that). I drove the car normally and fast charged exactly the 4 times i showed in the videos. Now im guessing here, i kept the SoC around 30 and 15% for hours (workday) to have a quick charge session with a low SoC. max content raised between Video 2 and 3 by 3k Wh by doing absolutely nothing (parked on street with 90%). So the BMS calibrated somehow and my max content value is back to april 2021. 3.2 did funky stuff atleast. And after this video A deep discharge to a full recharge (bms display is 100.5% at 100%) thats it.
@@EV.Furkan Thank you. It seems our cars will keep being a mystery to us. On the other side, some 1 or 2 minutes difference when charging 5 to 90% is no big deal in reality. Our car may not be the best charging one, at least between May and September it's more than good enough. Let's hope for some battery conditioning for winter. Then it will be on modern EV car level.
Another thing under the Summer sun about 3.2 update is the bi-directional charging... is that feature already available? ... can we e-fuel our household with the battery of an EV car (i.e. the ID.4), already now?
I noticed with my ID4 1st yesterday charging session that battery temperature should be near 28-30C degree to get that 175Kw peak, if battery is like 23C degree it is not "warm" enough to get 175Kw peak charging power.
@@Teemu-s6c hmm ok, thanks. that's likely it then. My lates DC charges on 3.2 have been closer to 23C than 28C. I'll try on my next trip, where the temps should be above that threshold.
Hello, have you found out what is happening in your vehicle? From what I see, your charging curve repeats the one we had with the 2.4 software, I have tried doing the chargings like you, at 10,15,20 and 25º outside temperatures (tha battery works always between 25-45 ºC) and I have always obtained your same results or even a little worse,...it's a little frustrating with vw
Nope, there is a 135kw charging (peak 145?) variant, which charges faster to 80% because average is higher (28 mins) The 175kw curve is faster till 55-60% versus the 135kw curve
I saw in some situations that the software cannot be updated e.g. from 2.4 to 3.0.0. Why is happening this? Which package of ID4 is this? From which year?
Good morning, ID.Furkan… hope you and your family are well… good… as you may be aware, Inhave an ID.4 much the same as the yours (possibly except the heat pump and some other optional)… now, I received the update 3.2 at the dealer… after that, at least 3 things do not work anymore: 1) easy open (someone told me that the dealer go through this via OBD) 2) keyless access 3) voice command to control the electrical sunblind… please, very please, tell me something of your experience… do not tell me for now to go to the dealer, as I will do after to have heard from you surely…
1. Return to dealer (same here) 2. Setting not set for 1 door? Change to all doors, otherwise dealer and keys need to re-learn the car 3. You need to calibrate the sunblind first. Manually open (keep on open) and hold 5sec when fully open. Same with close, hold close + 5s when closed
I think it will do much better in colder (
On a second note: If marketing wants higher numbers and engineers say no and project manager says just do it this will be the result 😂
Great data comparison, you are the dutch Uncle Bjørn! 😇
Ah, not even close. His knowledge and time in EVs is so much more

Yes, if you have a DC-DC charger (very expensive) you can upto 10k kwh and 4000h running time

Hello
Is 3.2 software the most updated version at the moment?
hmmm, i dont get 175 on a 22 gtx with v3.2, max i've seen is like 138. but you're right... it charges ok regardless
Also on your second charge?
@@EV.Furkan yes, I've never really exceeded 138

@@EV.Furkan overdue update, i actually did manage 179kw multiple times. it drops gradually to 100kw at 40% though
