  • You waited, I will deliver. The charging with Update 3.2. Sadly it didnt went straight forward as I hoped how the charging would pan out. Previous curves was pretty straightforward. You drive till a Low enough state-of-charge and almost all chargers could deliver the requested maximum power while charging the car, but with 3.2 its changing. Part 1 of a 4 part video. Enjoy

    My ID.4 1st. has software 3.2 and has reached a charging capacity of 172kw.

    You are good its supposed to charge 10 to 80% in 30 to 35 mins

    I had an id4 as a rental while my id3 got the upgrade to 3.2. i dont understand why you would buy such car. It has almost the same space inside as id 3 and needs the space of a battleship on the road. 😂

      More space at rear seats and trunk has also more space compared to the ID.3. If you are not using both at its fullest I understand your comment ;)

    After upgrade at 3.2, my easyopen don’t go with the foot … very bad … Volkswagen know this problem and it must resolve asap …

    My next EV will not be an ID4. Zero updates since I bought it and it'll NEVER charge that fast. Now there's a recall on the car.
    I'm going to get something that charges faster and goes farther on that charge. VW has really let me down.

      Have you ever visited the garage and let them check? My ID4 charges 134 kW (starting at 25%) and at 80% it is still 80 kW

    Oh no, oh no, oh no no no!
    I guess you need CATL battery for the even charge curve, but the first ID4 had LG. 🤷

    ”Maximum energy content of the traction battery” shows 70.6 kWh in your car scanner app, is this the 82 kWh as stated by VW?

      No, thats the 77 with unreachable top and under buffers. Value is Heavy ambient temperature depended

      @@EV.Furkan Thx for info. I got 51.2kWh out of 55.2kWh at 16 degrees Celsius in my CUPRA Born 58kWh. Makes quite a different in range.
